We moved-in in a rush, waiting for the construction of our home is finish. We are here less than three weeks and I can't wait to move out of this place. The room has a musty and dusty smell. I have to cover he smells up with air freshners (plugs and electrical wax melting) The hallway always has an old food and oil smell, need better extractor to take the smell out. The kitchen cabinets and stove are from 80's, needs a good face lift. I spoke with the front desk girl and they said that they can't smell anything… There are three washing machines but just one is working. The dryer door under the filter is dirty, seems that never has been cleaned. We are in the third floor which should be quiter, however one of the rooms have three kids and seems that their mother can't comtrolled them inside the room, always screeming, running down the hall and sometime without clothes on. Bad bad bad. I complained at the front desk. Internet is not great, constantly off and on. The TV cable plan is basic, include few channels which mostly are news channels. If we find a better place at the end of the month we paid we will move out in a heartbeat. Before we were looking in TownePlace by Marriot and Home2 by Hilton but they didn't have availability. I will NOT recommend this place to someone who has cleanliness standars, does not like bad smells and look for quiet place.

Jenny at the front desk is the most amazing and helpful I have ever known in any hotel I stayed at and that is a lot of places she made everything well worth staying.

Exceptionally clean and quite. The entire staff is very friendly, understanding, and quite helpful. If I had to stay in a place again in this area, it would be here, HANDS DOWN!

Overall crappy hotel, and the staff are even worse. Waited 45 minutes to check in and the clerk had a disrespectful and unprofessional attitude. Room had a musty stench and bedspread was dirty. The hotel management also engages in questionable business practices, so you better check your CC or bank account. Horrible experience. I suggest you find a more reputable hotel chain.

Seemed clean. A/c worked well. Nice to have a kitchen. Sheet had hair in them and when we changed them with the spair pair from the closet the blanket had crunchy stains and smelled horrible. Staff was helpful and got us new stuff quickly.

The description of the hotel promised a pool and a workout area both were out of commission. The hotel then wouldnt refund my money so I could find other accommodations. My children were very dissapointed.

This stay has been better than my last. Bed isn't the most comfortable, but having a kitchen is a fair trade off in my opinion. Wifi sucks and the cost to upgrade is ridiculous.

Very nice clean and laid back place and nice workers.

Wifi is really bad. Found cock roaches in my room. My room keys stop working after about a day, and need the front desk to reset them for me. Front desk person disappears for hours at a time with a "will be back shortly" sign on the office door. And to top it all off, there is no elevator. Highly recommend not booking your stay here.

Pros * Grab and go breakfast * Full size fridge with freezer, microwave, & stove/oven * Nice looking wood furniture * Working AC unit * Spacious room * HDMI works on the TV * Friendly staff * Plenty of parking * Dumpster out back to throw trash away * Has washer/dryer for all residents to use Cons * No Elevator * Stove dials don’t have any temperature readings. * Card reader on room door takes multiples tries to unlock the door * Dirty towels * Broken pull out couch * Stains all over the carpet * Stains on the desk chair * Missing kitchen drawer * Chicken wing left in the cabinets * Paid $25 for the 2.5x faster internet and it was still not very good. It wouldn’t load crunchyroll and barely wants to load Netflix. * Internet constantly disconnects and remains off for several minutes or several hours. * Internet went out completely for 2 days. * Dried toothpaste left on the sink counter * Very dirty TV remote * Someone from the cleaning staff took one of my energy drinks out of the fridge * Red substance smeared on the wall and carpet that was never cleaned up * No pool (If you were looking to go swimming) * Big enough gap in the drain at the hotel entrance to possible damage your vehicle.

I recently stayed approximately 7 months at the Extended Stay of America in Homewood, AL. Mandy, Lula and the rest of the staff (including the cleaning staff) were excellent! Mandy fixed me up in a room on the bottom floor that had just been renovated. Working in construction management, I travel a lot. This was one of my favorite places that I have stayed in the last 5 years! Sure, there were a couple of people that stayed either overhead or beside that were louder than normal, but it was quickly taken care of with a call to the front desk. I highly recommend this place for a medium to long stay!

The location and area were lovely and accessible with multiple restaurants within easy access. Staff was friendly and the grounds well kept. While lovely at the surface, the room lacked working a/c and there were some housekeeping concerns.

Very nice and clean, there is no swimming pool, it's non smoking, there is a smoking section outside. Easy access to Shopping and restaurants and very secluded. Excellent price for $76. However there are no elevators but it's only 3 floors.

Very helpful staff and clean location. Got some good sleep after being up for over 24 hours straight. Thank you for not disturbing me. I will stay here again.

Very pleasant front desk attendant. Advised me on a great restaurant nearby. Great value and close to my work destination. Conveniently located next to a shopping area, Fresh market and Target. Nice rooms. Easy access to my car. Very quiet. I had a Good night's sleep. Lobby and restaurant seemed very nice too.

Checked in with audrey. She was very helpful and sweet. Took care of everything and was very informative. The room was very clean and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and couldnt have had a better experience.

I personally would never stay here again. The rooms are a good size but all the fixtures and appliances are very old. The walls and lighting are dull. There are dead bugs in the stair wells along with other debris. When I came in my room there was some type of dead fly on top of the air conditioner. The mat on the tub was folded up, I picked it up and it was soaking wet. There was an empty roll of tissue left on the tissue holder and a new roll of tissue was sitting on the back of the stall. The microwave didn't work and all the counters had sticky prints and dust on them. It also appeared to have not been vacuumed well. I was completely disappointed and it was highly unexceptable.
