Comfortable beds and bedroom. Really good breakfast and bar environment that overlooks the ocean. Sia also does a walking tour of Istanbul that’s absolutely incredible, with lunch over looking the city, Tea and shows us all the highlights. I would book this hostel just for the tour alone.

The best. Ever … localisation 10/10 bar 10/10 room 10/10 best view and very. Friendly specialy for the lonely travelers I spended the best days of my life in it so. I thank them so much specialy maxi. Haha (maxi you are my brother and you know that)

Good location, modern rooms and good breakfast
I have stayed in many different hostels and hotels around Turkey. This one is one of best I have stayed. The staff, the rooms, the bathroom, and breakfast were all superb. The hostel is newly renovated and has a great view of the Golden Horn. On the pub night, we were brought to clubs that my other international friends in Istanbul recommend and go to often.
But I did have one little problem, with my wallet getting stolen inside the hostel, but the owner and staff were helpful, and even loaned me money until I could pay them back. They did their best to help me get through the situation.

Great location, good host and hospitality. Bar is expensive for Istanbul, but they've an excellent balcony overlooking the sea and heir breakfast is nice with lots of fruits. Great for a couple of nights.

No water for the shower or sink half the time I was there. But apart from that it is a very good location and fairly comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at cheers lighthouse. Accommodation was great, slightly different to what we were expecting from the photos though. A few things were missing in the room that would have made it better, but if you want accommodation with great service, a friendly face and no frills, go stay at cheers lighthouse. Edit: Now that we have concluded our visit in Istanbul, staying at other hostels around Turkey, Cheers Lighthouse had the best breakfast selection, best rooftop views to unwind by, and best social area to meet other people. Lastly, what made this place stick out even more was that they offered supper at a decent price. Cats included.

Location fantastic, within walking distance from all sights, never stayed in a hostel before our room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was fantastic.

The hostel is great. The rooms are nice, clean, with access to the balcony overlooking the sea. It is a 5-minute walk to the sea. Hot water is always available, hair dryer, towels, paper. Cleaned every day. There is a luggage storage under the bed. The breakfasts are easy, but that's enough. Cutting sausage, cheese, olives, vegetables, bread, boiled eggs, jam. All the sights are close. At the restaurant you can order lunch and dinner. Very sociable and clockwork girl bartender, and her partner bartender. Good guys. In the evenings in the same bar always music, board games, darts. The bar is open. The receptionist guy greets, gives a free map of Istanbul, and points out all the necessary information. Good English and Russian speaking. There is a transfer to the airport from the hotel, 5 euros. I recommend it very much.

This is a great hostel if you don't mind the steep price of 12 euros a night for a bed in a shared room and bathroom.

A worth hostel in the old town of Istanbul. In a fantastic location and a privileege view for the marmara sea. Unfotunately the don't have a kitchen for the guests to cook.

Good ambience, really helpful staff, beautiful view from the common area. You have a very nice break included. Absolutely recommend.

Great place, cheap and nice. The owner, Toni is a great guy and his staff of the best. They solve any subject quickly and diligently. Totally recommended. Also its situation is excellent.

Great hostel, not far from the center of Istanbul, very nice view and especially amazing welcome! Murat and his team do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. In fact, don't hesitate to challenge him to chess!

Cheers lighthouse was a beautiful hostel/hotel/restaurant. Loved waking up to the beautiful sea every morning. Gorgeous sunsets. Superb service. Comfortable beds. Helped with my activities in Istanbul and in Turkey. They even threw me a birthday party with a cake! Loved it so much I stayed again at the end of my trip in Turkey 6 weeks later. Close to Blue Mosque, Sophia Hagia, and many other attractions. They also have a shuttle going to the aiport when u are ready to depart. Will stay again when I come back for the third time.

I found it pretty cheap. The breakfast is complimentary. Overall a nice play to stay if you are visiting Istanbul.

Great location and great view of the water from our room (the top floor) but it wasn't particularly great as a hostel atmosphere and you can get more amenities for your money at nearby boutique hotels.

Very central Location within walking distance to all major sites. Clean and affordable rooms. Interesting guests and very helpful staff. Food at the restaurant ist good as well.

We were lucky to find this place! The location is perfect. The place is cheap and clean. They have an amazing terrace to sit just in front of the sea. The food was delicious, and the staff and employees were the best: all of them so friendly with us. Their hospitality and help definitely was a big part of our whole trip. You will miss this place once you leave Istanbul.

The location is very good, just 5 mins walk to Blue Mosque and it's easy walk to get T1 Sultan Ahmet station. All staffs are very helpful and friendly. They actually have a free group tour for people who stays. My room is very clean, neat and organized. I stayed in 5 beds mix room with seaview. Plus breakfast is including and it's very good. I would recommend you guys to stay and I will definitely come back with my friends. :-)

Excellent place near to blue mosque. Very economical.

The Hostelpersonal is exceptionally helpful and one is already welcome fully informed on arrival a glass of Turkish tea about surrounding attractions. There is an airport shuttle for 5 euros. The rooms at the hotel level. Each bed has a good mattress, clean bed linen, thick blanket and pillow, and a clean towel. On demand, you get even more fresh towels. There is Wi-Fi in the restaurant and the rooms. Each room has a private bathroom, which cannot offer the most hostels.
Tea and coffee is free for hostel/hotel guests. Views and location is excellent just a few hundred meters from the tourist centre with hotels, restaurants and small Samwel markets in the neighbourhood. I had no problems with noise. The staff is always helpful and friendly and also bring together guests from all countries and to introduce each other. Exemplary.

A good hotel/hostel in a super central location near to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Lovely comfortable beds, great restaurant with a real variety of dishes and breakfast included too for a truly fab price! It is an easy trip from the airport on the tram using an 'IstanbulCart' bought at the airport.
