Great rooms, pools amazing, beach amazing, breakfast buffet has all you need plus more. Lovely restaurant setting for breakfast, watching the sun come up.

Absolutely had the best time ever there, it was so quiet too, bedroom was super, so was food, pool and sea, cant fault it.

Great staff; everyone was so nice and greeted us warmly. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The pool has a beautiful view and was not crowded. The beach area was small but nice and clean. It is hard to get a chair if you arrive to the beach area after 1030 though. All the food we tried at the restaurant was delicious and the view during breakfast was fantastic. The spa was only ok, but good enough for our needs and we both enjoyed the service. Overall it is a quiet, beach front escape with everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

Lovely Resort. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and very clean. Service is very good. Restaurant is right at the beach. Motorbikes and cars can be booked through the hotel. Would love to come back.

Very bad food, we stoped at this resort for lunch, what a mistake, ordered pizza who never arrived and there choice of tappas was not eatable… rotten parma ham, pur palm oil fish cakes, same about quid calamare, orange juice for 120 bahts is not fresh… to avoid…

A bit outdated, but we had a pleasant stay overall. The staff is very friendly and the room was big!

The room was clean and the bathroom was not cleaned.
Clean towels must be claimed, while the dirty are normally changed when they are put on the floor.
No or little animation, the whole thing is really deplorable, pity!
Very strange restaurant, we seem to bother them when ordering and they lack very fast matter, careful not to take a stay in full Board, the same menu is offered throughout your stay, when at breakfast, it is not varied and really too European, we come to Thailand to eat local!
We will not return here.

Do not try to organize a surprise, they are unable, they return the ball and in the final question your Word, incompetent unhealthy, practicing an English more than summary, so very difficult to understand! …

Breakfast is excellent, has everything for different tastes, even shrimp and sushi. The Beach is chic, the water does not go away. Villa Grand… There are no complaints About the villa, the pool is very nice.

A perfect service, a beautiful view, a swimming pool, nice! In short it was to the angels. The ideal place to rest and relax in the sun!

A really great resort hotel. Good cuisine right by the Sea. Very friendly and helpful staff. The grounds are also very nice and a large pool overlooking the sea where you can even get smoothies Served. Should I travel to Koh Samui again I will be extremely happy to come back. The hotel also offers a lot of other amenities. Wellness and spa, Direct car and Scooter Rental. And everything is very straightforward.

Well! on arrival we were meet and welcome to resort first class hosts.
We started our holiday with mixed feeling after a couple of days. We jokingly named it faulty towers we had a bungalow with its own pool. I have to say the staff here really do look after you. The problems we encounter were sorted very quick, at one point we had to laugh there was three men in the spa bath to fix the taps any problems weee soon forgotten. Fab place away from the madness of the big resorts but so easy to get to them for the odd evening.
I would say it has it own charm but would be even better if they updated a little it’s starting to show its age. Border line of slipping below an excellent standard. Food in the restaurant was very good in the evening. The breakfast buffet was good lots of choice. The place is spot less. Lots of little bar restaurant within walking distance outside same again good food karna Ann is amazing so is the food don’t know if I spelt it right it’s on the corner and looks like it’s float on water. Well done the staff at Samui buri for making our holiday special.

Stay OK Although the hotel is a bit old. The advertised size of the rooms is far from the actual size. On the other hand the setting is very friendly.
Nice infinity pool. Private beach very well.
The gym and its machines are dilapidated.
Regarding the restaurant, the service is quite long even when the room is almost empty. The card dedicated to the full board is quite limited and we quickly went around it.
A free shuttle bus takes you to a nearby village (Fisherman) But the last trip is at 4pm and you need to take a taxi home.

Very nice facility. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast very varied and tasty. Great beach.

For meals on the other hand I would not advise their restaurant. Tasteless buffets, for a price too high, 850 bath (excluding beverages). At this rate you eat two (drinks included) in a small restaurant right next to the hotel.

A hotel high-end but aging, staff as usual in Thailand are adorable and always smiling. We appreciated the small gesture in the evening to 6 o'clock, at which time the team have come to bring ice to cool, put a candle and oils, and prepare the bed for the lying. On the other hand the hotel starts to age and this had an impact on the party joint that is sometimes forgotten, is damaged, poorly maintained (for this penthouse level)

Villa falling a bit on disrepair and looking a bit dated, pool area and restaurant looking "sad" on need of TLC but fantastic area and attentive staff… would come again though.

Were very happy with the hotel and the location. The hotel is in need of a bit of a renovation but in large part a super nice hotel. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was good. The location is also wonderful after a 5 minute walk you can already reach shopping as well as tasty and inexpensive restaurants and much more. Those who like it more wilder should then opt for the Chaweng region. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice hotel with Djungel charm. Located directly on the beach. Rather quiet and cozy. Not as much as on other beaches. Are available free of charge on the beach. Pool overlooking the sea. Breakfast with sea view. Very nice and courteous staff.

Samui Buri Beach Resort is located on the beach of Maenam beach on Koh Samui. It is built according to traditional Thai architecture and has an outdoor infinity pool. Free Wi-Fi is available everywhere.  
The resort offers villas with private pools, as well as rooms built around the main pool. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, DVD player and a safe. The bathrooms have a shower and a double washbasin.  
Samui Buri Beach Resort is a 25-minute drive from Koh Samui Airport and a 20-minute drive from Nathon Pier. The centre of Chaweng Beach is a 25-minute drive away.  
Guests can enjoy a relaxing massage in the spa or work out in the fitness centre. The children's Club offers fun and entertainment for younger guests while Thai cooking classes are available for adults. The resort also has a tour desk and a business center.  
In the open air, the Seetawaree restaurant serves international dishes prepared from fresh ingredients directly from the resort's garden. Drinks can be served at 3 different bars.

The hotel is very beautiful, gardens, pools, staff extremely nice, excellent restaurant, typical thai. A pity that the hotel is badly surrounded… district with housing, dilapidated… one way to get around on the free shuttle to the hotel, but to 16h only. Otherwise there are taxis.

Nice hotel with quick access to the beach, restaurant overlooking the beach! We dwell in a villa with a small swimming pool and a spa tub! Just a flat, c a little older. The employees are pleasant and attentive.

Stayed in January 2018, my room was huge with a lovely deep bath and shower: I had not 1 but 2 balconies! Room service was great as was the food, it’s like a village with all the cottages. Staff were extremely friendly. I have been to Thailand many times and I found this resort to be too far and quite isolated which is fine if you just want a relaxing time but though they have a daily free bus every day at 4pm to chaweng it is 500 bhat for a taxi to get back so it works out quite expensive. My only gripe and complaint would be that the bedding is supposed to be white but has gone off white and needs updating. Infinity Pool is fab and the massages both at the hotel (600 bhat) and on the beach (400 bhat) were great. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing break.

5 Star Service, staff extremely helpful and kind. Villas and facilities a bit dated. Tasty food at the restaurant accompanied by an outstanding service. Great Chef. Recommend this place to everyone.

The pool area was quite nice with direct access to the beach. The food at the restaurant was decent, although the dish I was served was undercooked.

Deluxe room (no pool access), Family holiday, 5 nights +++ Pleasant and quiet with classic Thai architecture. The hotel was clean and well maintained and the staff were amazing. If you are looking for a modern, high spec 5* establishment with updated facilities this is not the resort for you! +++ Recommend the cooking class — 1 hour, 4 dishes of your choice, photos and recipes included. And of course lunch! + (Very) Limited fitness/gym facility was nice to have +++ Shuttle service at 4pm daily to Chaweng and Fishermans Village +++ Breakfast buffet was good. Eggs cooked to order +++ Pleasant and helpful staff + Fire show was interesting ++ 4 bottle of water provided every day, also Ice, Tea and Coffee +++ Large infinity pool which was never busy +++ Private Beach ++ Short walk along the beach to Lomprayah Samui Maenam (Pralan Pier), where you can get catamaran transfer to Koh Tau or Koh Pha Ngan. The Catamarans run by Lomprayah get very busy — there is no competition, its the only option — — Wi-Fi access was not very good — need to sign multiple times, once signed in was rather slow anyway (Recommend dtac tourist SIM — 4G internet) — Air con was a little loud and a little weak — — Tripped on the step between the bed area and the rest of the room on multiple occasions. This could be very dangerous with small children, they could easily not see the step and fall badly.

Beautiful quiet hotel on the dream beach. Very lovingly and charmingly furnished. Yes it's a bit old, but it didn't bother us.

I had a higher expectation looking at the other reviews. Great staff. However a bit outdated hotel. Bathroom needs renovation. And far from the best spot in Koh Samui. Although they have bike / car rental at the door staff. The coffee served in the breakfast was "Nescafé" — very disappointed with it and also with the huge line. Overall experience was ok but far away from "5 stars" given by other people here.

Great hotel on the beach, nice staff, housekeeping 2 times a day, put flowers orchids, update towels, light aroma candles, and other nice things. There is a restaurant with extra options. Good place to spend an unforgettable holiday)

Fantastic value resort which caters for a wide range of budgets. If you don't wish to leave your hotel, this resort is for you. Plenty of dining options at the resort as well as within a 5 minute walk from the resort. The location is a little bit remote from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng but there are quite a few inexpensive car and motorbike rental places nearby. Breakfasts buffet is good and plentiful, the rooms cannot be faulted. Staff are always ready to please. Our family has visited in 2009 and 2010 and are preparing to visit again in 2012 (and bringing friends along). Not the best resort on Samui but definately the best value for the money. 5 stars for value.
