I liked the hotel, the silence, the green garden on the grounds. We rested in it 4 years ago, but still think about a good rest. Rooms are equipped with all the necessary household appliances, including washing machine, which is very convenient. On the beach regularly takes a bus, but you can go a little in the hill, at the same time and do a massage in local massages.

My room was good enough to stay for a month. Top balcony with a great view. Reception was fanatic as was the food. Loved it.

A cozy hotel, great infrastructure, friendly staff. Great with the kids. Excellent service.

Location! The space was nice size and quiet. It was nice to have a kitchen to make our own meals. The space was very clean and cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. I had a wonderful time here! I enjoyed it very much! Thanks for the beautiful memories!

I believe this hotel was built in the 90’s and that’s where it has stayed. Upon entering your room you just know that it’s an “old”hotel. The room is full of dark wood furnishings and the old fashioned lighting makes the room and bathroom quite dark. Having said that the room was clean and kept very clean by Housekeeping. We booked here based on the multitude of 4 and 5 star reviews on TRIPADVISOR. Having now spent 10 days here I would say that the 2 and 3 star reviews are the accurate reviews and if you are thinking of staying here, make sure you take full account of these reviews before you book. There are good points and bad points regarding Kantary Bay Good The staff are generally very friendly and helpful, a credit to the hotel. Housekeeping of the room is very good. DVD player in room so bring some DVDs to watch The main pool is a good size and the water doesn’t get too warm to swim. Many of the residents are long stay “senior “ British holiday makers on their 5th 6th 10th visit to Kantary Bay. Most everyone spends a lot of their time at Cape Panwa hotel. You can use the facilities at Cape Panwa hotel — this availability was what made our stay here bearable as we spent 8am until 6pm at the Cape Panwa There is a free shuttle to Cape Panwa every 20 mins. The adjoining Kantary Cafe serves super food, super drinks, lovely cakes, great ice creams, great coffees. We ended up buying our breakfasts here.

Had a rest with my son in June 2017g. Wonderful relaxing holiday. The staff is very polite and friendly. The son did not eat Thai food in the café, so the room with a small kitchen turned out just what we needed. Overall the room is very comfortable, clean. Breakfast was good. The beach is also good, a sort of paradise. They carry on vans, but it was not difficult for me to walk, at least some warm-up. On the way you can crostata to the massage parlor. All the entertainment in the center, drive 40 minutes. I'd love to come back again.

Very nice staff! Got a birthday cake which was a super nice gesture. Rooms are roomy and nice. The 10-15 min walk over the mountain to the awesome beach was ok.

Decent place with antique lifestyle. No respect for Indians. Completely out of the city of Phuket. Would suggest to stay at Patong Beach rather than cape panwa.

Really happy with the room, the location (if you wanna relax, rather than party) and the staff. Indeed good value for money! Would love to come back again soon!

The staff are attentive and friendly, the hotel is large with a shuttle to the beach which is on the other side of the bay.
Opposite, there are food and clothing shops, but which are overpriced compared to what is done in Phuket, expect to pay 3x the price for a skewer or a crepe.

The hotel is very decent, is on the first line to the sea, there is a promenade where you can stroll and admire the sunsets. Restaurants and shopping malls can be found along the waterfront. The beach carry on the motorway to the nearby 5 * hotel. The beach is very beautiful, is buried in a paradise of greenery, the beach is only for holidaymakers. Golden sand and a lot of corralals.

Maybe I'm picky, but this hotel is like staying at your grandparents house, they try their best but in the end it's an 80s/90s style building that doesn't look like it has been ever renovated. Their sister hotel that they are connected to seems better. Maybe we just got thrown in an old section of the building. The positives are that they are friendly, try to make an effort (made us a cake for our honeymoon, give you 2 free drinks vouchers, have decent sized rooms) but I couldn't wait to leave for somewhere more modern. Thankfully we were only there as a stop over to get to the Ko Phi Phi islands. The staff were friendly and no issues with the people, but I'm sure you can find better. There is a one of the best place to have any vacations from the different places in different countries we were. Me and my wife and my little son — Mr. Andrew — are in love in this place. We went there twice — in 2015 and 2016, both in May. Almost all of stuff became our friends, especially my son. Thank you! Hope see you again!

Love this grand old lady! This may not be a modern, sophisticated hotel, but it is warm and homely, the staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient, the breakfasts are consistently good and the loyalty rewards make us keep coming back for more. I shed tears every time I have to say goodbye! Till next time.

Great service and good views. Ask for a seaside room. Three star rating is because of its lack of handicap accessibility. Otherwise fantastic.

Great location even better than cape panwa hotel where we spent last full week, friendly and resourceful staff, compact yet fabulous garden, all delight stuff just within few minutes walk, will definitely recommend to my friends.

Big suite with kitchenette and balcony on which is located the washing machine. The bathroom and shower and bath. Every 20 minutes, free shuttle service to the beach. Throughout including the beach free online. Breakfast delicious. In front of the hotel, shops, cafes, massage and makašnicy at an affordable price. Perfect for family vacations, everything you need is available.

Great scenery, away from downtown, environment is also very good, very quiet. Although far away from the city, but you can rent a motorcycle, is very convenient.

Stayed here for 10 days got back to London last Monday, miss it so much it's such a beautiful hotel in such a relaxing place, all the staff are so generous and friendly and help as much as they can, I definitely recommend staying here and also make sure you use there sister hotel (cape panwa hotel) down the road which is just as beautiful with a beach.

Great Hotel. Awesome location away from the craziness of Patong. Also, access to the sister hotel up the hill and the private beach there.
