The staff was pretty friendly, but the bungalows were not nice at all. Youll find better places to stay with same money. After two nights here we went to @lantahostel and it was much better with same price.
What you'd expect for low price range bungalows. One street from the beach (2 minutes walk). Bed is rater hard and pillows are overstuffed and yes there are cracks in the floor boards, only a cold shower… But this is low price accommodation. It was $14/night for a fan room. The area is beautiful where the bungalows are though and this particular area (Kantian Bay) is small and quint with a Muslim majority. So don't expect lots of partying.

I can’t fault this place. I loved Lek and his family. I felt very safe and welcomed by his family. Lek went out of his way to help me and my friends, he organized a private trip around the islands for us and made sure we missed all the other big groups. I booked my onward trips with his wife in the office on the road. I had the air conditioned new bungalow and it was perfect. Wifi worked and plenty of room. Yes bed is a bit hard but that’s standard around Asia. 2 min walk to the beach.
