Amazing place. Peace, courtesy and the sea just in front of you. Try and see!

The complex is located in a beautifully landscaped garden right by the sea.
Our bungalow was ok, but not outstanding. In particular, the bathroom is in need of renovation in part.
At breakfast you could order eggs in all sorts of variants (see photo). Otherwise, there was a buffet, but it wasn't special. Toast, prepackaged butter & jam, coffee, orange juice … As you find at 7/11. Fresh fruit.
The staff were attentive. Except those who were employed in the restaurant. They were not very motivated.
Due to low tide & high tide, swimming in the sea was partly not possible (but that was no surprise). At high tide, bathing shoes were helpful, as the seabed was partly rocky.
The hotel is located at the southern end of the beach. If you go a little north on the beach, then you will soon find some good restaurants and bars.

Beautiful location. The pictures really don't do it justice! Only thing was in our room it said the last serving of dinner was at 9 but it is actually 8:30 and if you get there at 8:32 no luck. However lots of places around so no worries.

Baan Thai was the perfect spot to stay for a quiet, relaxing time in Koh Lanta. There are only 11 villas, so it is very private. Breakfast was simple but good, and the staff is very kind and helpful. You can rent scooters from the front desk or arrange tours. And it’s on a picturesque beach with lots of restaurants and bars a short walk away.

First time here. In my opinion: Beautiful, Peaceful, Beautiful Gardens, Great Beach for walking around. You can swim on the Beach only during the High Tides. Food at the restaurant, High Quality, Much Quantity for the Price.! All in all a great place to visit for relaxing, enjoy the nature, get away from the Stress Business World.

First impression — Wonderful place — quit, clean and frindly staff — The villa with seaview ist impessiv.

Good clean villas but not that great staff and location. We enjoyed our stay but felt that the staff, especially in the restaurant, were unmotivated and rather lax. The breakfasts were repetitive and not that good and other food in the restaurant is overpriced. Try Kwan's cookery on the beach instead. The villas are completely critter-proof which was great and very convenient. The beach is OK for walking but not for swimming as the sea is very rocky. Expect to pay from 100 to 300 baht per person one way to get to the nice beaches. If you can get a good price this is a good hotel. I would not pay premium price for it though.
