Incredibly terrible service — didn’t deserve 9.0 on booking. Com! I was just refused service at the doorstep even though I had already made a booking and paid for my accommodation in booking. Com. The concierge, who barely spoke any English, tore my reservation documents in front of me because I went across the street to “check out” the other hostels. The bad impression was shortly and vehemently enforced by the boss who was sitting outside and seemingly haggard and frustrated (…probably due to poor business). I felt this was extremely unprofessional since not only did the hostel made sure I didn’t get my room, they made sure I had a bad day. After being refused by 168 Chiangmai guesthouse, I checked in to one of the hostels across the street which came easily with much better facilities and of course better-mannered staff. After speaking with the other hostels, it seems like I was not the first and is definitely not going to be the last to have such an experience. Please think twice about booking this hostel.

Best hostel to stay in for backpackers. Even though technically we didn’t stay here overnight, we were hanging out at this hostel all the time because of the people, amazing owners and the best ice coffee in town. Thank you guys!
Would stay there again any time!

We got there they were terrified of another bed right in front. The attention from the first moment it was very good and the room spacious, with shelves and everything is very clean and quiet. Upon our departure to forget a few important memories and we got in touch with the woman who greeted us at reception through Facebook. Put a lot of interest in recovering our memories and we sent it to the Bangkok hotel where we stayed before our return to Spain and not wanted us to collect or shipping. It has been a pleasure to stay there, without a doubt, people like this are not found every day. We got a nice memory of this place. Totally recommended! In addition, the area is great for going out to dinner after walking by the center.
