Jomtien Beach Guesthouse Hotel

Jomtien beach is the largest beach in the pattaya area as far as length so there is plenty of room for everyone. There are deckchairs with the genders keen to sell you a shady spot. You can stay all day being waited on by the chair vendor, order your favorite beverages etc. Sometimes the sea is quite clear but it's never crystal clear, you need to visit the islands for that. My recommendation is to never eat the seafood that is sold by vendors walking on the beach or the pickup truck sellers as you will probably get food poisoning! They buy the seafood from the markets at the end of the day at a discount then cook it in the evening for selling the next day, be warned! Wednesday is the official day off for all vendors in Thailand so if you are happy just sitting on the sand that's ok.

Fine yellow sand & water quality good. Plant of room even on the hottest day. Amenities are adequate Retail strip on other side of the road. Many nationalities patronize this beach — probably on account of it being much cleaner that nearby Pattaya Beach.

There are some nice resorts along the beach, we prefered the pool in the resort to the beach because the water is so muddy and dirty. Couldn't imagine swimming there, you can't see through the water. A lot of tourists there, the restaurants along the beach are not good, very touristy and low quality. But it is very quite, since a lot of tourists are families with kids, the beach was very empty in the evening and nice to enjoy the sunset.

The more tourists there are, the more rubbish there is, the more obvious the color of the sea is (very dirty offshore), and the nearby shops offer pay-for-wash.

Garbage. Don't go in the sea. Swim packages and other debris. Renting a house is not expensive for that plus. Sidewalks which are praised narrow and on them there are garbage cans from which stinks so it is necessary to go around on the other side. The children with a wheelchair not to walk in the evening in general. Price of accommodation-food rental all cheap. We also lived on the first line-from five in the morning approaching cars to the beach and cut music. And so every day. Bye, everybody.

One of the beach one of the main beaches in Thailand. It is a very nice beach to be at during the sunset. We have been here on a winter evening and spent almost 4 to 5 hours in the beach till the late night. Very soothing, one of the things that I have noticed as the water here is not that clear and there are small fishes which travels up to your legs when you are swimming.

The beach is not bad, but I would still advise driving on a tien beach.

Quiet, beautiful, clean. Sunbeds for 40 baht per person for the whole day. Go, sell food inexpensive, very tasty shrimp and donuts with a divine filling.

There are certainly nicer beaches in Thailand. The city beach of Jomtien is well catered for by security personnel. The water is apparently not the cleanest, but this is not surprising, on a beach immediately near Pattaya. On the beach road and in the branching sois, there are countless ways to eat, drink and stay overnight. Also for the narrower travel budget.

Pretty poor beach for Thai standards, but better than Pattaya beach. Cleaner, quieter and probably safer.

Anyone who who would go all the way to Thailand and waste their time on Jomtien beach needs a skull enema. Its crowded, noisy and dirty. The water is filthy, often full of jelly fish. The north end is where male homosexuals congregate.

I have been coming here since 93, this beach has really changed throughout the years. Hardly recognizable but that is called progress. Great place to visit.

Jomtein Beach is always crowded but mostly locals come here with their families and spend the day usual on Weekends… this beach is also popular among tourists.

Nice hotel by the sea, but really expensive.

The room was clean. Pillows smell a little. Breakfast not so delicious especially the coffee creepy. The Pool is nice but little bit small and little shade. Staff for the most part are friendly only during the Check in, very strange behavior. Recommendation with limitations.

The good part about coming to beaches during raining season. Clean.

Clean, Comfortable, helpful and friendly staffs, good hotel for relax with family or your friends, good location. You can walk to the beach in a few minutes.

This is very nice and peaceful beach as compared to pattaya. Less crowded. All kinds of snacks available on the beach. Prices are reasonable but still scope of bargaining with vendors selling souvenirs. Be aware of vendors selling fake stones as precious stones. Many good restaurants on the beach road. Little away from pattaya. Costs 10bhat per person from pattaya to Jomtein by public taxi.

This beach is so nice. Endless places to stay, eat, drink. The beach is popular by locals and tourists here.
