I hopped to dine in there. It's such perfect view at front as Arun temple. staffs are friendly and tasty meal.

I can’t speak for the hotel but the restaurant has very bad customer service! After ordering a round of drinks we sat around for probably 45 minutes without any service from the waiters. After walking up to the bar and asking if we can order another round of drinks I was told that they would be with us as soon as possible. Waited around for another 15 minutes and decided to give up. After asking for our bill they said no problem it’ll just be a few more minutes… Another 15 minutes go by and I once again had to go up to the bar and ask for our check. I almost wanted to just walk out. They really weren’t that busy and it feels like they don’t care about customer service. I’m sure they stay busy enough because of their location but really disappointed with our experience. The view is nice but there’s better options around.

Worst dining experience. Wrong booking, bad service, food taste terrible, over charged, lame atmosphere. Last time here.

The rooftop bar was great. Hot if you are waiting for the sun to set. Limited food options. And the drinks are pricey for Bangkok standard.

Roof-top bar is good for watching sunset, a bit crowded from 5.30 pm (better be there a bit early to get good spot), few menu selection.

Bangkok's Old town of Sala is a restaurant with unbeatable riverside night view, very suitable for the Grand Palace day trip later to see the sunset, the back of the 10 baht coin is the Zheng Wang Temple of the pattern, is a very representative and historic building, the beautiful golden sunset with Zheng Wang Temple scenery, a cup of wine to relax, by the way let walk all day feet also have a good rest.

View is good but not panorama view because blocked by the near building. Food look nice but not so yummy. Service is unprofessional. Mobile camera is recommend for this place due to low space and tiny. The first time and the last time.

Not what is says it is We planned to stay in this centrally located hotel for 3 nights, but upon entering found it does not deserve anything near the 4-star rating it gives itself. The hotel is located at the end of an alley, inaccessible by cab. Its entry is shared by a warehouse and at times smells like fish sauce. There is no elevator, no concierge, water pressure is pulsating, furniture is cheap. We requested to reduce our stay from 3 nights to 1, but were forced to pay for 2. When leaving, the bell boy told the cab driver to charge 200 Baht for an 85 Baht ride. Not a good experience.

On the five floor of the landscape bar, drinks are good to drink, service attitude is good, the focus is overlooking the Dawn Temple of the Twilight scenery Awesome!

Great views of the sunset. Rooftop bar has a great view, but the restaurant has clear glass windows that look out at the river too.

Too pricey for the value but it's okay since the main reason people come here is for the clear view of the temple of dawn. The taste of most food is pretty much toned down to suit foreigner's taste buds. You can feel immediately that the ingredient is not that fresh and of high quality. if you happen to suit outside at the deck, you won't get an expansive view of the river for your sight is blocked by its own building. THUMB DOWN for them releasing unrecycled used water directly from their drainer to the river.

The rooftop bar is amazing! You can see wat pho and wat arun and some other shining temple \ (ˆoˆ) /\ (ˆoˆ) / The restaurant was soso. Just to drink at the rooftop is the best!

It has not been able to get to the outside, and inside it is very cold with the air conditioning so not at all enjoyable. The food is good but not enough for the price and location.

Spectacular place a bit pricey but by the standards of Bangkok not for lunch on the river bank priceless.

A delight for your senses, I was extremely lucky to experience first hand Sala Rattanakosin Menu, and I will not fall short saying that is one of my Best culinary experience I had here in Thailand, Away from the view on The Wat Arun (that is just gorgeous at night), the food in your plate will soon make you forget to gaze at this wonder across the river. If at first the menu seems to be oriented towards Thai dishes and sounds exotic. The chef in the kitchen will make sure to take you in a journey that both accommodate the always critic foreigner taste and the traditional Thai cuisine, And, what a start of a journey it was! I could not recommend enough to start with "Tom Kha gai" (sliced chicken breast in coconut broth) — This will make you forget every Tom Yum you had, since you been here — its simply, out of this world! I could go on and on about the menu! but make sure you try their set menu for 2 — for full experience. And, almost like that holiday you never wanted to end, the chef decided to surprise us one more time with a Perfect chocolate Lava cake — hot from the oven — with its exciting combination of coconut ice cream and passion fruit puree, Unforgettable! As perfect as the food delivered from the kitchen was, the service didn't shy away — Nueng, our waiter that evening, embody the perfect combination of kindness and Grace, I would give it 6 stars — based only on how it outweighed the View — And what a view, … But what a menu! A, Do not miss, in Bangkok.

Went here for lunch after visiting the temple across the water. It was delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved the banana mayonnaise.

Cute boutique hotel in an old quarter of Bangkok. Amazing view to all directions! Breakfast is average. Downsides: Has a bit of an odor in the whole hotel. Hard to get to by car/taxi as it's behind the large WatPo temple. The near ferry dock is closed (as of dec17') for renovations so you have to first cross the river by a secondary ferry. Makes the journey longer because of the long lines.

Wonderful restaurant, good white excellent. My plate nothing but its decoration a marvel.! its flavor a party for the spoke.

It was a real big disappointment. I never thought I would say this but I had a bad experience overall and let me tell you why: 1) Transportation: the staff did not inform us about the closing road while we were on the way to the hotel. We even called and asked direction but NOT ONCE she mentioned about this problem. 2) Smell: I booked the room with view with the purposed to enjoy my stay over night. The smell of the room and river had been botering me ALL NIGHT that I had to find something to cover my nose. This smell is unable to fix even the maid put aroma in the room. TERRIBLE! 3) Staff: Some of the front desk staff have unbelievably poor customer service. Period. With poor attitude and poor communication, this is just unacceptable. I don’t expect them to be like 5 star hotel staff but at least makes us feel like my money is worth paying the high price for Wat Arun River View Deluxe! I strongly will not ever recommend this hotel to any of my friends!

Amazing place with a majestic atmosphere and good taste of classic music. Although I visited here on a friday night, it was peculiarly empty. This place definitely deserves to be voted above the curve. I want to visit this casual rooftop bar again! (Lower levels serve fine dining)

Went there to take photos of Wat Arun At night and a drink as well. The view was fantastic! More importantly, the restaurant is on land, so unlike the ferry pier, the ground doesnt move up and down with the tide which is vital for long exposure night photos. The drinks and food was great and the menu lights up which is pretty cool and practical Service was good as well. One of the most comfortable, enjoyable photo sessons i've had!

I have been visiting the restaurant since more than a year, the food and drinks are very good but what is really amazing is the atmosphere and the view to the Wat Arun temple. I like to go before the sunset because I can still see the temple with day light and during the dinner it becomes dark and you can see the temple Illuminated. Recommended to impress visitors after visiting all temples around the area. Apart of the restaurant they have some rooms, the place is hotel and restaurant, the hotel I didn't tried.

Probably been there for more than 5 times. Each visit a different experience. Last week was my friend bday and I actually ordered a cake before hand and requested a window seat (for the best view). The restaurant never disappoint and everything went as planned. 5 stars service and food too. Thank you and keep up the standard.

Good and nice but expensive for what it is, dishes pretenders that don't quite fit in, is an elegant place for a romantic dinner, reserve if you want to terrace because otherwise you'll run into as I and the empty tables outside. Very pathetic truth. Has roof top terrace with good views, day and night, cleaning friendliness and service good except the receptionist who tells you where to sit.

This is a chic boutique 4 star hotel with spectacular view of Wat Arun and Wat Pho, it is a re-purposed 4 storey shop house located in the old city of Ratthanakosin and the bank of the Chao Phraya River, only minutes walk to Wat Pho and the beautiful Grand Palace.
The stylish and sleek bedrooms also has a comfortable daybed and an excellent view of Wat Arun.
The hotel offers an elegant riverfront restaurant that serves contemporary Thai and International cuisine and an open air rooftop bar and lounge that serves excellent cocktails. A must to chill!

Great place for dinner on the river across from Wot Arun. Unfortunately, the temple is not lit up this summer for repairs.

The river view deluxe room is amazing! You can see the river through the glass wall from the room. The shower room is made by glass, I guess the room is for couple not for the family. Rooftop bar is cozy.

Probably the best view of any hotel in Bangkok right across the river from the Wat Arun. Very trendy little hotel and nice breakfast in the terrace over looking the river and Wat Arun opposite.

Great food for tourist and you can enjoin the view along the Jaopaya river.

I was just there for a beer in the evening. A little pricey for the average but the view of the Chao Phraya River and Wat Arun is gorgeous.

This whole place is so humble and beautiful and unexpectedly splendid I want to cry thinking about it. What to expect: alfresco dining experience by the river enjoying subtlely elevated versions of well known thai dishes made with quality ingredients and exceptional service. So so glad I took my mom here.

Great location to enjoy a drink at sunset. The scenery is beautiful with Wat Arun and the river in front of you. Drinks are a bit pricey but you would expect this for a nice roof top. Worth the try and enjoy the view.

Terrible service on the top level bar, but extraordinary service in the restaurant. Delightful food and service beyond what one would expect. If I am going back to Bangkok I will dine here again. Be aware that this is a pricy place with main courses from TBH 300-1000. Still high value for money as I see it. Exceptional staff. I had three courses, to beers, two bottles of water a glass of sauvignon blanc and a Bayleis Coffee with my dessert and it totaled to TBH 1996.
