Dear Amari Team, I want to give 5 stars to Restaurant Manager Mr. Murthi from Amari Hotel Johor Bahru who goes an extra mile to satisfy us as customer I only called the restaurant to find out about buffet availability to arrange a surprise birthday celebration for my brother but found out that the restaurant didn't have any due to the current situation. Before I could end the call Mr. Murthi was proposing their current menu and promised that he could arrange the dining even though I gave him 1-day notice I was so amazed by the way he promoted the menu and follow-ups on our special dietary needs. He was very accommodating and detailed about our special dietary needs Thank you so much Mr. Murthi and hotel staff for such wonderful care of my family during their visit to Amari Johor Bahru for my brother's surprise birthday celebration. The food at Amari Hotel Johor Bahru is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can choose among their menu options. I love the service at the place, it is so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! My mother liked the latte and the cakes. Once again THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything! My brother had a great birthday celebration, We will come back again for all special occasions or just casual dining. It was very nice to be treated so specially. Dear Amari hotel Johor Bahru Mr. Murthi is your asset! All respect for him who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality.

A good hotel right in the main shopping area of Bangkok. If you love shopping, then this is the best location to stay. The rooms are nice and with the rooms on 20+ floors, you get amazing view of Bangkok skyline. The food is good and for vegetarians there is option of Indian area too in the buffet. But you can always walk to Saras which is nearby pure vegetarian food. The staff is helpful and the internet speed is really very good. It also has a spa that is really good.

I am in love with this hotel. The staff is amazing, the room service is fast and good. The location is perfect and when they do make a mistake, they go above and beyond to fix it. Very happy about our choice, everyone should stay here.

I went there to visit the tailors to tailor make a suit. The services provided by the tailors were all very good. They explain well to you and they won't show you nasty attitude when you tell them that you're not interested. The hotel seems pretty decent. With a nice and clean atmosphere and a huge lobby, this hotel is pretty recommended. Also, for me, those that are not staying in the hotel, the hotel staff also treats me pretty well! Opening the door when I enter and exit :)

A really nice hotel. If I stay in Bangkok again this is where I will be at. Unfortunately, even though I stayed here for several days I was very tired from the tours everyday and only really got to experience the bed and the shower and the breakfast buffet which were all great. I walked through the mall across the street one evening, however unfortunately the mall was close to closing and all of the stores that were open we were unable to negotiate agreeable prices on anything. We found the better deals were on the street vendors and stores just outside the mall. The hotel bar and restaurant were great but were on par with American prices. On a side note, I found this to be the case with Bangkok as a whole. It is not a cheap place, no matter what back alleyway you think you’re going to catch a deal at. I was very disappointed with this realization as I was led to believe that Bangkok was a place where our money had more buying power. Back to the hotel, the pool looked great and my travel companions enjoyed it when it wasn’t raining. The breakfast buffet is Amazing! If you’re a westerner looking for a cheaper tropical vacation I would suggest the Philippines instead. But if you’re going to be in Bangkok for other or business reasons then this place will fit the bill.

Walking into this hotel was just so amazing. No words can explain how beautiful this hotel is and staff are also very friendly. I can go on for days about the beauty of this hotel but I won't want to spoil it for you so you better book this hotel soon to enjoy its beauty. It is very centralized and there is a huge mall opposite with whatever you can think off at great prices. I would surely say that I spent most of my time in this mall doing my shopping and I think many others did too. So if you looking for a good hotel that close to a shopping mall then this is it.

I would say a 3/4 star hotel. The shower facilities are adequate. There’s no place to hang wet clothes (if you choose to swim) at the hotel. The swimming facility does require servicing and cleaning due to some bugs drowning the pool. There’s a nice spa and massage parlour in hotel. And it’s directly opposite a mega mall. The living space wise is small, so be advised. Thank you.

If price is not too much a concern, Amari Watergate is the best place to stay if you are looking for a hotel with a great location just opposite platinum shopping mall. It has the newest rooms available, the air-conditioning inside the hotel is always cool no matter what temperature it might be outside. Night markets always available till late even! I visit Bangkok over 4 times a year and Amari Watergate is always my top choice every visit!

The room was moderate-sized, with an understated elegance and contemporary design. Bed was comfy. It reminded me of a Sheraton in the U. S. Fairly standard business class luxury. Some people appreciate the functionality of a more business layout. I can appreciate it. I like my room to have “a workspace” over a lounge space. While a lounge space looks more fancy, as a solo traveler, I’m not entertaining guests nor am I haven’t a business meeting in my room, so lounge spaces are cute, but useless to me.

But as always in Bangkok the contrast is felt between the high standing of the hotel and the local life.

My first stay in August 2017 for 5 nights: Opposite the Platinum Fashion Mall and the Palladium Shopping center is set back by two busy roads a modern luxury hotel with a discreet character and international flair on 34 Floors.
Even the cheapest rooms have excellent facilities and ample space for two people, are clean and are tastefully decorated.
The noise level is very low due to well-kept carpets in the hallways, which ensures a restful sleep.
As in most hotels, the experience with the view at the same time with the high quality of the equipment and the additional service can be booked in parallel with rising floor height at corresponding prices.  
Top class is the floor where the "food Gallery" at various stations from 6 to 22:30 pm can be enjoyed by the finest food and drinks from all over the world.  
There is ample space for the many hotel guests and you will feel comfortable, even if few people are performing, as if you have to shout at the family table undisturbed and have to throw food.  
The service is pleasantly discreet in the restaurant, as well as at the reception and poolside.  
My overall impression is excellent, especially due to the location (only about 400m to central world and about 1km to Siam Paragon and MBK) as well as the value for money.  
I'd like to come back here.

I was there for the meetings. Overall I think the vibe was friendly. Elegant but not too luxurious. I was impressed by the rooftop party. The food, the band, the scenery. As for the international lunch buffet, I think the food were very various, desserts were alright, but I wouldn't recommend the cake. The transportation was convenient. Like you can walk to the pier across the street, to many bus stops. Also, it's very close to Platinum mall and Central world. If you are looking for a place like this, this might be the one :)

Motel was so nice the service is the best. Walking distance right in the city. Thai people are so kind and friendly will stay again love love loved it. The food was the best ever buffet breakfast oh my goodness wonderful. The room was not dated as some say on the review they were so nice would not change a thing.

I went their for the weekend lunch buffet. The food was very good. I loved the bread there. In addition, the decoration is nice, with big windows and actual daylight. The service was good too. I would definitely go back for the restaurant there!

Nice view, but… As others have said dated and badly scratched furniture not in keeping with a 5*. Some issues with housekeeping, no towels left in the room on second day. No reply from housekeeping or reception on the phone! Found some hk staff with a trolley, but they spoke no English and had to mime towels! On the plus side, very comfortable beds, hood air-conditioning. Nice enough for a short stay, but I doubt we'd stay again.

The hotel is grand and luxurious. The front entrance of the hotel was welcoming but a little overly crowded. There were plenty of tourist waiting at the main entrance for taxis or checking in and out. This is mainly due to the popularity of the hotel. The toilets were clean and sparkling. It is also well furnished. The only problem I faced is the slow traffic leading to the hotel entrance, which could be understood due to the tremendous number of hotels and malls around the area. Overall, it is a good hotel for a pleasant stay at a good location if the rates fit your budget.

Nice hotel in the centre of Bangkok with small Markeln on the details. Spacious rooms with some old furnishings. Processing in bathroom special tiles and grouts not optimal, but everything clean and tidy. Breakfast alone deserves 6Sterne for choice, ambiance and staff.

Hotel Amari has a beautiful, ambiance and exclusive facilities. It has a large and spacious room with a city view, a big bathroom, wonderful restaurants within the hotel, with an excellent choice of food. A welcome gift was amazing, a big plate of delicious fresh fruits, water, coffee and a full minibar to use. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The hotel has a beautiful pool on the 32nd floor, and next to them is the lounge bar with an amazing view and a beautiful ambiance. There are several malls nearby with great offers. This is the best place to stay in the city if you want to go shopping. I definitely fell in love with this hotel, and I am visiting it again the next opportunity I get.

We traveled in a group and it is difficult to match the taste of everyone, though the location is not central to all we loved it, spacious rooms, new and luxurious, service is very professional, breakfast abundant and very spacious, no queues, no queues at the lifts, a quick and wide, beautiful views, a very pleasant experience. There are several shopping centers at a very short distance. And a Seven Eleven right in front of you where you can buy refreshments, and a sim card for the phone, Important.

Prices are a bit high for drinks and food compared to what is available elsewhere. Overall great hotel and I would definitely come back.

Corner of Eden. This is the right name for this hotel in Sri Lanka. We were on vacation from 7th to 19th November 2017. Elegant view, the sound of the ocean, clean rooms, tasty breakfasts and dinners, a spacious pool, a wonderful spa! But, the most impressive thing about this is people. The hotel staff is simply magical! Attentive, sympathetic, friendly and sincere! We fell in love with this place and in these people ❤️ I can write a whole story about this. But to be more locally, I will appeal to all those who tried to make our stay in the hotel wonderful. Thank you and remember with warmth and love. Thanks for the handmade gifts from the hotel on my birthday and for my son, it's very touching. Thank you for the smiles and understanding! I thank the chef for his high professionalism and the desire to please the most complex requests of my husband. ) Separately I want to mention Amaa and Harshi from the reception for their quality work and hugs! I have been to many places in Sri Lanka but I should say this place has now become my number 1! Such a beautiful heavenly architected place with a eye-candy view! Marvelous colour combination through out the premises and the architects have successfully made a flow with the themes used. So… much to look at and admire in every corner of the hotel! On top of all that. The welcome and the hospitality of the staff is beyond my appreciation. Thank you Subash for looking out for our wellbeing through out the stay! We will visit again and I highly recommend this manmade wonder for anyone looking out for a place to spend the nights with your loved ones around in Galle!

Rooms are comfortable, quiet, buffet-style breakfast choice, Indian pancakes salty fragrant incense, cheese flavor, interesting, delicious! Nearby there are shopping malls, night markets, eating chicken rice, do the spa are very convenient, room prices about thousand yuan a night.

The only saving grace for this hotel is the Breakfast Buffet, rest of it was ordinary. The location is good if you want to go for some wholesale shopping in fashion clothing, the rooms were ordinary, the service was ordinary. Would not stay at the same place next time.

Amazing lunch buffet. Rooms are albeit small but good. Good Wi-Fi and breakfast. Very good location close to Indra market, big c. Central world. Platinum mall is just across road. Burger king. Starbucks… nearby. Train station is 5 min walk but doesn't feel bad because of the walkway that leads to BTS station through a shopping plaza.

Great location, close to the central part of Bangkok. Close to the Mega Malls, within walking distance. Our last visit was maybe 2 years ago, lobby changed a little but the rooms looks the same, a little dated but clean. Updating the room would make it perfect. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and comfortable. Chic Outdoor Pool on the eighth floor with bar and associated wellness areas and fitness Equipment.

We were last year. It is located in the heart of the Patunam district. Ideal for shopping. My wife loves it. Breakfast very good. I would recommend booking from the hotel site directly as passing through boocking it is more expensive. Take the rooms that give access to the Executive lounge. The taste at will is very good and the quality of the alcohol is surprising. The upgrade is apparently a habit.
I highly recommend it.

This hotel is the worst that we visited in all of our trip. They charge you for a 5 star hotel but in reality it is 2.5-3 stars. Way over priced and not worth it. The room wasn't clean, and the shower has mold in few places. The bath had peeling paint, and the 2 rooms we had were in very bad shape. The hotel overall is very crowded, and the hotel staff attempt to have you take a taxi for double the price. Finding a taxi on the street is less of a hassle and more worth your time.

We spent 3 nights in Amari Watergate, and we had a very good stay. The rooms are big and comfortable, the breakfast at the top of the hotel is fantastic, both for the quality of the food and the view. You can also enjoy a relaxed swim at the swimming pool. If you go to the lobby, you might be able to enjoy concerts of traditional instruments. It was a pleasure to stay there and visit Bangkok.

Traveled the Group and it is difficult to guess in taste, although the location is not the most central to all more charm, new and luxurious rooms, very professional service, abundant and very wide target, no queues, a very pleasant experience. There are several malls within walking distance. And a seven Eleven just in front where to buy soft drinks and a sim card to the phone, which is important.

Central location. The outdoor pool at night is a highlight. Beautifully lit and the lights of the skyscrapers around create a perfect city backdrop. Also the views from the executive lounge make it an incredible place to sit for sunset — worth the upgrade.

Kind staff and centrally located. However while room was okay it had an electrical problem, the a/c was noisy and the bathroom looked as it needed some serious updating.

I was recommended by a colleague to stay in Amari Watergate for my family holiday last year due to the location and the promotion back then. It was a short trip but we must say the stay was memorable and hence we decided to stay in this hotel during this March holiday. This time with my sister's family. During this stay, we are impressed by the hotel staffs overall. They are always helpful when you need them. All the staffs we met, whether in restaurant, lounge, concierge or reception are always wearing a smile. They had shown great attention to details and we also realized that they will go extra miles to help a guest if needed like my case. I have a kid that requires special food due to her condition. It is quite difficult to get if not prepared in advance. On this night that we missed the time to leave for the dinner place and with the traffic, we decided to see if the hotel will be able to assist. I spoke to the manager on this. He immediately recommended me a Chinese restaurant and even offer some hotel discount. However, what I needed was not in the standard menu. Once he realized that it is not what the Chinese restaurant can offer, he bought me to another restaurant within the hotel and show to me to the other options. When I started to look panic and frustrated when I was worrying for my kid's dinner, he immediately invited the chef to see me. The chef patiently listened and made a food that my kid probably enjoyed the most in the whole trip.

Went on a special holiday with my wife (delayed honeymoon style! ) and we were given a room upgrade to one right at the top of the building. And champagne and a cake! Fun pool on the roof (8th floor? ). Didn't go for breakfast in the hotel — plenty of places to eat just outside the hotel. Good transport links in to the city centre.

The decor and layout is quite charming. The elevator lobby is nice. BUT, it is quite filthy and dilapidated. The carpets throughout the entire hotel and rooms are full of stains and dirt — especially, the entrance lobby where everybody sits! We had obtained an upper-end King size room from Orbitz through a package deal (hotel & air). Even with an upgrade upon arrival (due to non-readiness of reserved room), our room is really substandard. If it is a 3 to 3-1/2 Stars, then it's appropriate. Just because they give you a couple of bathrobes doesn't make it a 5-Star hotel! The rooms are not insulated at all. You can hear all the toilet flushes, showers flows, and closing doors from nearby rooms. Toilet doesn't flush very well, but use lots of water. (I'm not even a tree hugger. ) When the toilet is flushed while the shower is running, the shower temperature gets really hot. On a brighter note, all the staffs are wonderful. They were all very responsive to us. The linens, towels, and bathrobes are all bleached clean — no bad odor whatsoever. The shower has plenty of water flow — its gushing… The sink and bathtub are well ergonomically designed. Ideal location for eating and shopping. This hotel could be quite exceptional if and only if they put some effort into cleaning it, reupholster some furnitures, and install some new carpets with some new stain-proof paint! As it stands, I recommend staying away. Certainly, I would not return here again.

It was a 5 star experience with exceptional service. Was sleeping on the sofa as we booked one of our room a day late, the next day, the housekeeping crew actually set up the bed, ready for us to sleep without us requesting. That really won my heart over.

Went to this hotel last November and it was fantastic, the staff are really friendly and the swimming pool was to die for. Recommend taking a kayak out and going to the islands, take a snorkel it is great fun and only takes 30 min to get there. Also hire your own boat it is a great day out, snorkeling once again although I had never done it before holiday, well worth every penny we had a fantastic day out.
also you have to try the banana pancakes at the end of the road as you go into hotel …
