Barn & Bed Hostel Hostel

Let me start by saying I love B&B Hostel with great location, excellent, warm and intelligent staff (no questions unanswered) unbeatable location on the corner of the BTS Sky Train and two Steps away from one of BKK's signature malls, 7-11, food galore etc etc. Unbeatable. Simple, delicious sandwich-breakfast with 3-in-one instant coffee was not a deal-breaker for me since I stayed 2 nights and then 2 days again. For a longer stay many will think this offering a bit limited and I agree. Again, the preceding observations trump that weakness hands down in my view. Great hygiene and cool wooden inlay decor motif gives it a very hip and countryside feel. It's a tiny hostel frequented a lot by Japanese and Korean tourists which tells me it's got a reputation for being safe and slighty up-market in its sector. The calibre of customers also tells me that any lowlife idiot who wanders in wont last more than one night since this is a peaceful space for decent human beings. Taxi from Sukhumvit to either airport is never going to be far away from 350 Baht at 4am in the morning and I felt fine dropping 500 for a service that picks me up at the door punctualy without any B. S. And aggravation. I know this city well and for 5 dollars extra I can avoid the lottery of rude or rip-off drivers at 4am when I'm feeling happy and peaceful. Yes, you're right!

— Friendly staff — Delicious breakfast — Easy accses 2 minutes walk from phrom pong station silom line — Comfy room (a bit hard bed) and hostel ambience — Clean bathroom and toilet (they provide shampoo and liquid soap, and towel — deposit 100 bath at check in) — Really worth the price.

It's a great place to stay in Bangkok, when you're after a hostel. Excellent location, 2 mins walk from the BTS, very convenient. Plus, there's a cafe just next to the reception. They were really nice enough to stay up for my late check-in around 1am.

Fantastic location next to Emquartier. Clean, reasonably priced and you can store luggage if your flight time is later part of the day.

Lovely, well thought out hostel REALLY close to Phrom Phong Station with nearby shopping and heaps of places to eat including *many* great Japanese restaurants. Considering how busy and noisy it was outside, once the doors were closed the dorms were really quiet. Had a great night sleep. Make sure you are early for breakfast or you will have quite limited choices and if possible book into a room or dorm on a lower floor … four sets of stairs feels like a lot at the end of a day exploring Bangkok on foot!

Good hostel in prime location… bed is bigger than average bunk bed. I love breakfast which consists of a box of sandwiches, banana and coffee. Location is only few steps from BTS skytrain, convenient stores, street food and Em quarter shopping mall. Each floor has 2 shower rooms and one toilet. Air conditioning in my room is not as cold as I wanted may be its because I was on upper bed. Otherwise, all are great and I would return again when I need to be in this area.

Location: very near Phrom Phong BTS, use exit 3 (stairs) make a u-turn, then turn left, it's on the left side, across coca restaurant.

$15 a night in the heart of Bangkok and less than a minutes walk from the main road Sukhumvit, and the BTS elevated light rail station? Safe, secure, trendy? An awesome outdoor Thai restaurant serving fantastic food at almost Street prices right next door? A five minute walk from soapy land massage parlors catering to the upscale Japanese crowd? Minutes walk from big trendy shopping malls? This is really an amazing value for the budget Traveller and backpacker. Note that this is *not* guest friendly at all. You're renting capsule sized bunks in a shared dorm setting. Very very very NOT conducive to hanky panky. But hey, the soapy lands are right around the corner… enjoy! My only complaint is that showers and restrooms are in a NON-airconditioned area. In the middle of Bangkok summer, the restroom becomes unbearably hot and muggy!

Ok hostel. New facility. Staff goodl, but office with management. They take 3% additional. On credit card payment. No water bottle provided… I stayed for 3 days. Not a single. Day my bed was cleaned… No place to dry cloths. Likewise few more issues with management which doesn't make stay easy.

Absolutely lovely place. Very clean and good facilities. Very helpful & friendly staff. Also right next to BTS (skytrain) stop so handy for transport.

Amazing experience! Nice cozy hostel near major shopping malls and delicious eaterys. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very modern and clean, staff was consistently keeping the rooms tidy. Breakfast was provided and staff also kept good security on baggage left while exploring the city!

The best place to stay in Bangkok. Perfect location, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, clean and brand new, amazing location. I didn't want to leave.

Very nice and clean hostel. The location is great if you don't like noisy and crowded place like Khaosan. The hostel is right in front of the BTS Phrom Phong station. Easy to find, and right next to EmQuartier Mall, opposite to Lumpini Park. Very recommended.

Very clean and cozy for its cheap price. And its just a 10m walk from the BTS station exit. Totally recommend it.

As the Hostel in the center of Bangkok, it brings me to warm feeling to be there, super clean, very unique decoration with contemporary style, still stay of exploring about Thailand. Good services, good location of BTS PhromPhong Satation, just so convenient.

This place was nice and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. Loved the decor and overall theme of the hostel. They have a common kitchen area and it comes with free breakfast sandwiches.

Very nice, comfortable and clean hostel. It is just below the BTS station and next to Emquartier shopping mall so it's really a convenient place to stay. All the staff is also friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be back here again.

Really great place to stay if you are in that part of Bangkok, I went to the comedy club just a few streets over, so it worked for me. Located literally steps from the BTS. Very modern and exceptionally clean. The beds are just right in comfort. And the service was warm and friendly.
