Such a lovely place with lovely people. Miss it.

Had a great stay here. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast was amazing. The room was nice and clean.
I liked that they had drinks available to purchase and some good places to hang out with friends.

Good budget place just outside of town.

Stayed there waiting for our Safai to start with @gregadventures nice hostel and lovely staff! I Recommend Ayubu, the Maasai guide for his always exceptional and friendly service, and if you go to a Safari, Yuma is the best driver you can get, check @gregadventures on FB for more info about this experience you cannot miss!

Had an amazing Stay in Villa poa and booked a phenomenal Safari with "greg adventures"! Would Really reccomend this Hostel, because its very Clean, has a familiar Atmosphere, the staff is wonderful and the food very great! Miss this place already and really want to come back the next years! Thanks to the whole "villa poa — family"! I Really miss you!

Is the place which is quiet, hospitality, wonderful area. Also is the place which you may arrange your Safari to go to camp or to climb Mountain Kilimanjaro.

We call this place kambini or bonge shop near themi hospital and villa poa in right side when you from themi hospital in the way before crossing to the villa road there is a local bridge in right side which goes straight to the bonge shop so after bonge shop there is a road crossing in left side that we call kambini and there is a 400 meters.

Villa poa was the best stay I had because of the great hospitality thanks to the host greg and his friendly staff. The healthy breakfast is prepared with love so you can kickstart your day, you can also enjoy a meal in the evening if you want! They take care of taxi services, you can book safari and other tours with greg adventures witch I defenitly recommand! Some of the rooms have a balcony, where you can relax and enjoy the view with a beer (witch they also serve there), some of the rooms also have a bathroom with bathtub! So it was a nice and pleasant stay and I would defenitly recommand it!

Villa poa was a relly nice place everthing was clean, the cooker was great and the atmosphere was very friendly. It was a good experience. But I would say it quite far from center.

WOW! From the moment we arrived to the moment of our departure, our 6 week stay at Villa Poa was WONDERFUL! The ENTIRE staff is most welcoming, friendly and fun! Especially will remember being treated like family; sincere greetings upon leaving for our day and upon our return in the evenings. Enjoyed a healthy and delicious breakfast every morning and the most delicious and flavorful dinners were available. Here's a BIG shout out to Lucy and Nancy… meals made with love. Ayubu… always smiling, cheerful (best giggle ever) and so helpful when we needed any type of assistance to make our stay most memorable. We were assisted by Greg when shopping for and purchasing shoes for orphaned and impoverished children; definitely above and beyond his call of duty! Asante Sana Greg! Always felt safe and comfortable. Villa Poa will be our choice of stay when we return!

A little Oasis in Arusha and the staff is absolutely amazing! A home away from home.

I had a great time at Villa Poa! As they describe it, it's a real oasis in crazy Arusha! It's outside the town, but you can get there quickly and very easily by dalla dalla. The hostel is brand new, and the staff is a highlight, super friendly. Greg, the owner, is a very nice guy, who does everything he can to help you — he even pick me up at the bus station when I arrived. The hostel has a great garden to chill out, and a common kitchen, perfect for cooking your own meal and saving some money when on a budget. They also have beers and soda drinks to sell, all you gotta do is write your name and what you consumed, and pay when you check out. A great atmosphere and a perfect place to make friends and relax.

Would not recommend the place for female travelers. The place in itself is pretty nice, but the guy running the place (Greg) is far too flirty, in an annoying manner. Arusha in general has a problem of men desperately looking for white girls, you would only hope that you would be left alone in a hostel. This is not the case in this hostel.
