. The staff here is truly top-notch. When I left my phone on a city bus, Tina helped me call the Taiwanese authorities and translate. When they located my phone, she received their call and provided me with an address where I could pick it up. 5 min walk from Taipei Main Station. Easy access to anywhere in the city via the excellent metro and bus system. I stay here every time I come into the country.

Great location, the staff are nice and helpful. Did my first ever hostel group tour with them and was great! The place is cool to hang out and meet people as there's a big and cool common area. Clean rooms, comfy and non-squeaky bunks! Nothing to complain about! :)

I spent 5 nights at Homey Hostel during my research trip and the stay was wonderful. I stayed in a four bedroom mixed dorm and found it very comfortable and clean. The staff was extremely helpful when needed, breakfast was good, and everything was easy, comfortable, and clean. Highly recommend homey hostel!

Cosy lounge and dining area. Friendly atmosphere in the hostel. Simple open kitchen with congee, toast and spread for breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff. Bathrooms could be renovated. Toilets and showers were often cleaned and were always clean. The beds have curtains and very comfortable mattresses.

It was great. Great location near the Main Station. Easy access to other parts of Taipei via the MRT station 5 minutes away. Staff were helpful. Rooms were big and clean. Beds are comfortable and the blankets were thick and warm. Would stay here again.

We only stopped in for a short tour of the facilities but it was a very modern and comfortable hostel. The common area is big with a small communal kitchen, computers, and even a guitar and keyboard available. The bathroom is unisex but the showers are divided between men and women. The room we visited was a 10-person mixed dorm room. The bunk beds were new and looked comfortable. A small staircase lead up to the top bunk. The sheets are provided free of cost at check-in and they ask their guests to strip the beds before they check-out and deposit the used sheets near the front desk. The hostel is very conviently located just a short walk from Taipei Main Station to the airport and Taipei Station so you have easy access to pretty much anywhere in the city using the MRT.

Well… this was my second time to stay in this hostel. First time was really good, that's why I chose this hostel again. Everything was really nice when I stayed there, but some staffs were not helpful at all. There was a day I couldn't enter my room since my card had some problems. I went to the lobby to ask for help but they took AGESSS to solve this problem. I was born in Taiwan but raised in the U. K, so I could speak English fluently. I guess they thought that I was Asian, so I only spoke Chinese, that's why those staffs which from other countries were not helpful at all. They treated you like they didn't see you. And the staff which helped others to check-in took agessss made me feel that she was not professional enough to in charge this job position. It made me don't want to stay there again in the future. Because I think what's the point to stay in a hostel which staff treats you like they don't even ask you whether you need any help or not and treat you like this? I was really patient since I didn't have anything to do on that day, but how about if I was in rush? This time I chose Homey, but next time I won't. It was a really bad experience.

I booked a same-day stay, and everything was very easy. The place was professional, organized, stylish, and clean, and there were lots of fellow travelers in the cafe area. I was just in-and-out for one night, but it looks to me like this would be a good place to meet travel companions, swap travel tips, etc. And I’ll just note that my experience in Taiwan has been that local people are very kind, but a bit reserved (I’ve traveled solo in other places where the local people are more outgoing, so it was a bit of a surprise to find myself politely left alone here! ) so it might be good to stay in a place like Homey Hostel if you are traveling solo & want some company.

The room and bathroom are very clean sanitation, toilets are free of the political Toilet, the alcohol can be self-wiping cushion disinfection, the bathroom with shampoo and body wash, and a curtain a little segment about the dry wetlands Board. Saloons can be seen coming from across the brigade in the exchange of chat play, the atmosphere is very free in the evening may also have to show that you can enjoy. Kitchen equipment is also very good, can cook or do some simple dishes, there is also a refrigerator to provide travelers placed. However, the room Soundproofing could be better, sleep in the lower Bunk of the people the best Shi deep in sleep, otherwise on the level of people there is little action, the bed will be significantly shaking.

One night 500 with a breakfast, bed is very good to sleep, CP value is very high, you can also experience living with people in many countries, a great Backpack Inn, next time to Taipei to play and come to live.

Red Rice is a comfortable place to relax, very close to Taipei railway station and Taipei Transfer Station, and the transportation is very convenient. There is an elevator in the building is a big bonus point, carrying the luggage compartment does not need to carry the staircase climbing, save a lot of effort. If the questionnaire can be used in traditional Chinese, XD is better.

Lively, nice and clean hostel. Very friendly staff and always ready to answer exhaustively at any doubts. Moreover, they spreak very well mostly the main Asian languages, and above all English, so nobody gets lost in translations. They host different kind and interesting activities, so who travel alone, cannot feel lonely. Thank you for welcoming me once again!

Must not miss, the boss and staff are very attentive, every week there are guided tours and retro dance activities, worth back to the fare, can know a lot of friends at home and abroad, it is recommended!

This is probably the best hostel I have stayed in. The lounge is really super nice, very well decorated. The room was very nice and the view was great. The hostel is very clean and organizes almost every day free activities, perfect to meet the world. This is one of the best rated in Taipei and I understand why.

It was very convenient to stay here. It was nearby the main station where it was the hub for all kinds of transportation. The staff is really nice, helpful, and friendly. I had never tried the breakfast there since it was a bit late for me and I was already out for travelling, so I cannot comment on that. The shared room/bathroom/toilet are clean. The price was affordable and made sense to me (I got the discount from the fair). It was not noisy at all and I had a very good sleep during my stay.

Great hostel that knows what people want. The rooms are nice, with big storage lockers and privacy curtains. There is a big common area that is good for meeting new people, but still has plenty of small areas to read a book or hang out. They do free tours of the area which are very informative, and a good way to meet other travelers. Big shout out to Sandy (I wish I remembered her Chinese name), and Steve Ni who took us on tours. Sandy's was a regular tour to Elephant Mountain, but Steve's was one that happens only occasionally. He was very informative and flexible, and really helped show some of the lesser known sites. A great trip made even better by the folks here.

The best hostel experience in Taipei! Homey has warm and comfortable public space. Personal dormbed and shower room are convenient and private enough. There also have mini tours be held every week. Visiters can get sense about Taipei also make new friends through these tours. I was so glad that I can stay two nights in Homey. I even want to stay more! And I will be back other day. Great thanks for the kind staff and nice friends, I love Homey very much!

I love this hostel. The best thing of all, I felt quite comfortable staying there. Especially at lobby, clean, atmosphere is good and you can what you want to do freely. Like talking with friends, studying, or sleeping… Homey is just a place like a home. I didn't want to leave. Also I met Owen who is a staff. He is soooo nice. I could enjoyed my travel more thanks to him. Thank you homey:)

Clean, comfortable, modern, this hostel is awesome. It has a nice, large and bright living room, perfect to make new friends! Sometimes have parties on week ends (more quiet during weekdays)! Plus, some free tours are organised. To discover basic places or even less famous, real Taiwanese, authentic spots and traditions! (special Thanks to Brazilian Steve for that! ) I spent three months there, it actually felt like home!

Homey Hostel is where to stay! I've had a few friends stay here and work here and they do a great job creating a welcoming atmosphere. There are always events and activities going on in the common space and there are also lots of spots conducive to interaction with guests. Staff and ownership are very friendly!

The hostel is so well planned and the facilities are really made for this type of accommodation. The staff is very helpful and offer support even during late hours. Probably one of the best hostels you can stay in.

Wonderful hostel, nice staff, good location.

Very clean and tidy, the hostel also often have events on Monday led to eat in Taipei snacks, the Wednesday beer game, Friday climb the mountain to see the night view, there is a free Breakfast, the hotel staff are very nice, and in this awareness a lot of friends, great place.

Came here on the first day, feeling as if in a big rainy day in finding a good hiding. Not the same experience, comfortable … Very European B&B Feel. Pantry serving drinks and bread, for backpackers, … Very considerate. Will come again, and hope that next time when will supply the room slippers, rub feet and cloth. It would have been perfect.
