Pretty good buffet. Selection is not wide, but quality is solid. The venue is spacious and clean.

This is the top level hotel I’ve ever stayed! Especially for the family who have babies! Special hospitality, facilities and gorgeous interiors will makes you satisfied very much!

I only had lunch buffet there, I food is very good, a lot of varieties, seafood and beef are really fresh. The onion ring is the only thing I don't like. They offer freshly fruit juice.

Location: First off the location is in a beautiful and affluent part of Taipei and a short walk from many shops and restaurants (but honestly so is nearly every hotel in Taipei). The Grand Mayfull shines in its proximity to a vast riverside park which offers a lovely walk and in my opinion gorgeous views of a nearby bridge, downtown, and of course the river. It's also less than 1km from the nearest MRT station which is exceedingly convenient. The room was immaculate and what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The room came with complimentary soft drinks, coffee, and tea, as well as some snacks. The bed was nice, though not the soft dream you imagine when you hear the words"Egyptian cotton" whispered in your ear. Above the bed there was also a lovely painting of a faun The bathroom was by far my favorite with a 17, 362-function bidet that will do everything for you but your taxes. Admittedly the only place the bidet fell short was its blow dryer function, but I won't fault the hotel for this lack of adequate testing. The shower/bath is incredible and allows for nearly every method of bathing you could think of, from tub to showerhead to waterfall to wooden bench and bucket, you can have it all. The complementary wash gels were quite nice, but the hand lotion smells a bit odd.

Beautiful Hotel with one of the best buffets in Taipei. My aunt, brother, and I enjoyed an afternoon meal at the hotel buffet. This was an extravagant affair full of fresh sushi, sashimi, prime rib, grilled Japanese wagyu, and fresh made juice. I drank at least six glasses of their fresh juice and had the most delicious cut of Japanese A5 wagyu. It is worth the trip if you want to enjoy a nice evening in the city.

Came here for a destination wedding of a long time friend, all the way from the USA, and was totally blown away. Exquisite hotel with fine attention to detail, wonderful charm, impeccable service, and world-class food. From my outsider perspective, this hotel delivered on all counts. The decorations for the wedding, plus the wedding banquet room itself was easily one of the best banquet rooms I've seen with nearly 360° screens that would display pictures of the bride and groom and various visual art. Fun to look at while eating! The food… For me there are few words to describe the food, especially the desserts. I'll keep it simple and share that the food was easily some of the best banquet food I've had, and the hotel has some world-class chefs and bakers. What I found a bit untraditional was that the 'cocktail hour' had dessert instead of hor d'oeuvres. This could have been the bride and groom's decision, yet I loved it. Do not skip on the dessert if you are here! Light, delicate, not overtly sugary, and small portions made it a delight to indulge without feeling like it was overdone. This was easily one of the best weddings I've been to, and the choice of the Grand Mayfull obviously made it so. Fond memories and a great experience. Would love to come back one day!

Easily one of the most luxurious hotel around Taipei. Their Japanese food and Cantonese food are awesome! Definitely try them out. I also heard that their buffet is quite amazing for their unlimited rib eye steak.

Spacious and cozy! The Simmons bed is a highlight. Free mini bar~ High tech facilities and good toiletries.

I travel allot all over the world but this is truly one of the best hotels I have stayed in. 100% worth its money.

Went for the buffet. Would recommend to anybody with a deep wallet. The fish was ridiculously fresh and the food was delicious, but it cost 70 dollars US per person.

The price of color sinks and cattle season is quite high, but the meal is not worth the price, not a lot of dishes, black beans are not excellent, salmon sashimi is not sweet, many desserts but too much chocolate, no refreshing dessert or lemon taste, chocolate are very strong like chocolate should be love, steak is good.

Was here for a wedding and I enjoyed every bit of it from the decor down to the food. The hall wasn't over the top and the table place settings were beautiful. Food was above your average wedding banquet food. Though the light show was a bit… weird and unnecessary.

Great rooms. The bed was comfortable. Showers were great. Staff is helpful.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent service. Amazing and grand architecture and decoration throughout the hotel and in the room. You'll feel like royalty in this hotel. My only complaint is the breakfast buffet is expensive and relatively poor, like high-end cafeteria food, compared to the rest of the hotel.

Restaurant, on the second floor, the food can only be called Samsung level, not Michelin's Samsung. No smoking room, go to the first floor outside.

We had thanksgiving dinner at their hotel, they have a lot of varieties. Service was good, it was not too many people. The price is not cheap but it's worth it as the selection of food was decent.

Lai-style general, seafood is not attractive, food is a general level, services can also be improved in terms of food. The environment is like the advanced food court. There is not much private space between customers and customers.
