Hotel Lugano Dante Center is a very nice place and being in the center of Lugano, it has the perfect location just steps away to the funicular and minutes from the lake. The hotel is surrounded by the cafes, restaurants and shops of all sorts. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The room we had was very clean and comfortable. When we entered the room, there was a rubber duck in the bathroom with a note saying “Take me home” as souvenir for the stay. In the lobby there is a Nespresso machine to make your own morning, day or night cup of coffee or tea if you prefer, free of charge. Guests are the top priority of the hotel staff. I really enjoyed the stay.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff! Rooms are perfectly clean and spacious. It has a bit an "older" flair but has a lot of charm! It is perfectly located close to the main station and very quiet.

A wonderful hotel. The staff did its best in order to make our stay as excellent as possible. The room is very comfortable, with a great bed, and the shower is the best I've ever saw in a hotel. The hotel is located in a excellent place, just next to the center of the city, and in a 2 minutes walking distance to the lake. The breakfast is pretty good, and the room service is the best! They have superb gluten free pizza and pasta options, which we ordered twice since it was that good. Definitely we will come back if we ever get to Lugano again.

Lobby, Salon, Breakfast room climatisation to cold for some degrees. Background music to loud for some decibels. Otherwise perhaps best choice for your stay in Lugano.

That chocolate machine at breakfast… Probably not a great hotel if you're watching your weight, but otherwise one of Switzerland's best places to stay.

We spend new year 2018 at this place. Location is ideal for walking around centre of lugano. Hotel is very good. Nice rooms, friendly personnel and good service. Car parking facility also very helpful for us.

Perfect location in the middle of the city but still very quiet. Service is absolutely top — couldn't be better. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh. You feel extremely comfortable here, whether for business trips or the weekend with your family.

Nice hotel Lugano downtown. It's directly at the funicular station and close to almost everything. The room are updated and cosy.

I was at the Dante Hotel for a workshop, the staff were friendly and the location was suitable. It is located in the very centre of Lugano, just a few steps from a comfortable car park.

We have stayed in Room 132 for 3 nights. All were just perfect! Excellent welcoming, excellent service with VERY friendly staff! Cleaned and in the best location made our stay unforgetable! Very satisfied breakfast buffet, friendly atmosphere, quiet. Highly recommended.

I looked at the sites of several hotels before you choose: at the end I decided on the Hotel Lugano Dante, that offers the right balance between services offered, price and transparency of conditions. I appreciated the speed of online reservation and upon arrival I found the Organization and clean the room and common areas. Breakfast very rich. Added to this is a natural, unforced friendliness and attention to the guest. My stay was therefore highly positive.

I am not sure what it is that makes the Dante so welcoming, so special. Is it the lobby with all those comfortable chairs just inviting you to relax or maybe the help yourself coffee beside a window?. I know the delightful staff whose generous personal help is there every minute of the day makes the stay like visiting family, perhaps the sumptuous rooms calling you to sit, sleep, enjoy? Breakfast of course cannot be denied, all those choices of Swiss and Italian favorites with an accompanying cappuccino. Is the end of the day glass of wine with conversation and snacks? Maybe the apples? Just go and find out for yourself.

The Lugano Dante is my hotel in Lugano for many years. I'm well and is always a pleasure to come back and find the same people. When the staff does not change means that they too are good. Perfect the new rooms.
