Pleasant cozy place, clean rooms, great location, delicious breakfasts.

I was there for work, but summers a big disappointment: rooms so-so, sink in the room detached from the rest of the bathroom, bad breakfast, very little choice and unseemly that in the country of chocolate there was not even a shadow. The location is a positive note, right in the center a few steps from the funicular that takes you to the station.

The room: full of long black and thick hairs, 2 huge mosquitoes like half a hand and the best… A tremendous spider patua the size of a hand! The cleaner was seen vacuuming and not deigned to enter my room, I know because time after between and everything remained the same, full hairs!
Food: mmm… crappy, clarification: very little fruit, basically Golden apples. Yogurt, some cereal, bread and hard-boiled eggs. Coffee.
The most painful thing to know is €100 the night!

Impossible to sleep well/at all due to the furnicular that runs LITERALLY every 5 minutes; I think I got an unfortunate side of the building. It is 5am and I have been awake since 2am, with earplugs in. Shame as the hotel itself is nice, location is fantastic and the staff are great.

Good, comfortable, clean. Wish the air conditioning was a bit more efficient and quieter. For some reason our TV didn't have any world news channels in English, other rooms did. Our room overlooked the funicular which was a bit noisy.

Cozy Hotel place in the middle of the town. The hotel is right next to the funicular to the main station, which makes it a great hotel for day trips.

Good value for money Clean and very central. Convenient for those travelling by train and by public transport.

The hotel is in the center of Lugano and it is very nice with very colorful and very large rooms also for rooms for only two people. The breakfast is plentiful and allows many choices for both Italian and international breakfasts. The cost is high but still average of the Swiss hotels.

The room is properly sanitised and we are particularly pleased with how fresh and clean smelling the towels and linens are (coming from an OCD couple). What's more, the Wi-Fi speed is fast! Super!

Too expensive for what you get. Rooms are too old. It was noisy as well. Service was very friendly though. But 135 CHF / night was too much for this. Centrally located.

I've been 3 nights in this hotel ao March 2014, I find it nice welcoming. Good price, very clean, all in perfect order for a 3 star it is very good. It is well located in the center of town. Super!

The new rooms are perfect, have to get a kitchen to make a pasta dish to the children… a Counselor.

Too noisy as the train runs under the house!

We slept very badly because a funicular runs under the room every two minutes making an avalanche noise. (This is not a joke) to advise.
