Top notch furnishings, location and service. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The windows in my room were quite small and set high the wall so the room was a little dark and the view on the Place Longemalle was limited. Overall, however, a very pleasant stay.

Nice classic hotel superbly located in downtown Geneva. I suggest to replace the old fashioned and limited "a la carte" breakfast for a "buffet" type.

Ich war dort zu einem Mittagessen in dem Hotelrestaurant. Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön altmodisch eingerichtet und so auch das Restaurant. Das Essen ist sehr edel und lecker. Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden.

Better than the Metropole! Right on the plaza in old Geneva, a block from the water. Don't expect lake views, but people watching down on the plaza is interesting. Cigogne is a charming, boutique hotel, with beautifully quirky interiors throughout the lobby and rooms. They offer free continental breakfast, optionally served in your room. Restaurant is first class and would be worth going just for dinner, even if you weren't staying at the hotel!

We just had dinner at their restaurant and it was fantastic: impeccable service, beautiful presentation, not to mention delicious meal, in an elegant environment.

Nice hotel but abit overpriced for what you get. The view from my hotel window was basically non existent, I was seeing just walls and some kind of ventilation or extractor systems all stacked up. The bed had a very hard wooden back to rest on. The rest of the room was quite nice particularly the bathroom and it's golden taps etc. Food was nice and smart as you'd expect and the artworks on the walls very impressive.

Great location in the heart of Geneva, not many rooms but the hotel is very nice and comfortable.

The hotel is in a superb location. Its right next to the old city, you can walk everywhere. The rooms were very dated. They must have been very nice about 20 years ago. The furniture was in-between old and antique, and pretty worn looking. The bed was an awful lumpy mess, the pillows were terrible. Interestingly, the bathrooms were great, they were modern, and done very nicely. Also, pay attention to their 48 hour cancellation policy. Its not the standard 24 that most hotels have.

Nice hotel staff are perfect but some rooms are rather small and Geneva is horribly expensive but that is not the fault of the hotel breakfast is good and the restaurant is also good.

Traveling on business, accidentally left electrical adapter at relais and chateaux property in London. Asked at desk if I could borrow an adapter, but they would only sell one for 20 swiss francs. Not the kind of service I've come to expect and appreciate from relais and chateaux properties.
