Very good hotel very welcoming.

Would never book here again! Refusing to refund my money for my stay in April even though I cannot even enter the country. Remember how these companies treat people when all this is over! Their response to me was that I should come stay even though their country is on lockdown and I live in the USA. 😡 This is impossible for too many reasons. When COVID-19 is over, I hope people remember how they were treated. Shameful. I’m rebooking my trip for the fall and this place will not be on my itinerary.

Extremely rude in the restaurant
It’s my WORST hotel experience in my life.
I was having dinner on a table for 2ppl, the waitress asked me to go because this table was reserved, so I moved to the next one (also table for 2） and the waitress showing the face that she didn’t want me to stay AT ALL because she said today restaurant is FULL, so even I came so early and I didn’t have the space to eat? (There’re still lots of free tables ） when I was having the desserts, the waitress came again and said : Did You finish? Do you wanna go now?
Excuse me? As you can see I didn’t finish my ice cream yet! And still! There’re still have a lot of free table.
She kept saying that the table I had was reserved already, so how about the table next to me? It’s free! Why she can not move the customers to that one? It’s the same table for 2ppl.
She even asked me to change the seat but didn’t showing me where should I go, where should I sit!
She disturbed my dinner over 3 times and kept saying that the table was reserved, when do you wanna leave? And before I left, there’s no customers waiting for the table, so what’s the point that the waitress kept pushing me?
ITS VERY RUDE TO A CUSTOMER WHO PAID FOR FOOD.
Im an air crew didn’t pay for the room, but I DO PAY FOR MY FOOD. I deserve a normal service as other customers. Not like this.
I’m crew and also human being, it doesn’t mean your staffs can showing attitude to me.

Spacious family room, clean but room was too warm and noisy when window opened.

One thing that really stood out was the friendly staff here. Ofcourse Movenpick is a great hotel group with great amenities but their wonderful gesture of leaving some cute goodies along with a hand written letter welcoming our 4 month old baby won our hearts ♥️ A place worth coming back!

Great place to stay. Close the to airport, tram stop, and train stop. Staff are great.

Spent just one night in the hotel, they charged my credit card, after check out, for almost 3000 euros. Called for reasons they said it was just a prepayement. For what? my credit card is empty since yesterday due this incredible kind of administration of the hotel.

Well, it’s close to airport… they haven’t yet discovered steam irons and like anyplace in Switzerland food and alcohol are EXPENSIVE.

Bad service from the hotel bar staff. Non responsive and not willing to serve.

Big spacious room with two queen beds. Bathroom with bath tub. Shampoo, body wash and hair dryer are available. Door creaked and could not close properly. The standing lamp could not work so it was a bit dark in the middle of the room as there weren't any ceiling lights in the middle. Air-conditioning was working. At reception, there is plenty of space to sit and rest. An internet corner offers PCs for guests.

We had booked a room with 2 queen beds for my husband and two kids. When we arrived at 10.00pm they had upgraded us to a king room but it only had one bed and there was 4 of us. Apparently there was a system error and I had to explain we all needed to sleep in a bed and it was not my fault. I asked to speak to the manager and she agreed to give us another room so it was sorted in the end… so even though it started off bumpy they fixed the problem and it was a great hotel. The shuttle service to the airport is great as well… and definitely the croissants for breakfast as we had to leave very early.

Wonderful clean hotel, friendly reception, pleasant atmosphere. The double standard rooms are not large, but very comfortable. The rooms have mini bars and everything for a cup of coffee in the morning. The service was satisfied.

Air conditioning in the room was non-operative blowing warm, hot outside and humidity made it difficult to sleep. Expedia ask for a review of my stay. The hotel responded sorry for the inconvenience they're working on the air. FYI… have Deep Pockets to eat, lettuce with an avocado is $25, I have no problem spending money to eat but that's rubbery, in the hotel response they did not comment on the high price points. Eat at the airport before you go to the hotel.

Overall, it was a nice stay and the hotel is very modern and convenient to the Airport. The shuttle service was very prompt and efficient. The negatives are that the room temperature was not a cool as we would have liked despite turning the thermostat to low setting and we felt that we had to wait longer than expected to be seated in the restaurant but once seated service was good. Checkin and checkout was efficient. Emails from hotel regarding upgrades, etc were helpful.

Close to airport, nice shuttle service but be sure to reserve your spot on it. Be sure to have your confirmation with you. We tried to check in with just our name and they adamantly claimed that we had no reservation. I finally found my confirmation and voila they found my reservation with my name attached. It seems their support staff is not very proficient at using their reservation system so protect yourself. Their restaurant and Cafe are very good so you don't need to go find someplace to eat in the city.

Over all, the hotel was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner / room service from the restaurant was very good. The room was a bit dated but clean. Our AC system did not work very well at all. The pillows and comforter felt like it was stuffed with paper. The soap mechanisms / dispensers in our bathroom were broken. The hotel was close to the airport, however, and made for an "easy" night when we missed our flight.

A hotel hotel close to the airport. This is a swiss chain and like everything else swiss, there is perfection. The rooms are large and clean and wash rooms perfect with a bath tub. The hotel also serves its own brand of ice cream which is heavenly. The pistachio and chocolate flavours are sublime.

Over years, if we fly from Zurich airport, we'd like to stay in the Mövenpick hotel. — We've booked 6 weeks before our arrival, but it's not possible to get the reserved and prefered room, also paying in advanced. — If I book a room with two separate queens beds, I don't want a "pseudo" upgrade in better room with one bed! At least if I give a credit card during the check in, I don't want a minimum of three calls for my breakfast room service order, 'cause the reception desk has no card details, this is horrible in the morning. It's your risk and not my's if you think I can't pay for a poor breakfast. At least I 'll come back, but I don't think there will be changes in the future. The staff is very friendly and correct, so I think it's a *head" management problem. With kind regards.

Everyone was very helpful and courteous. We even got an upgrade to a better room. It was very nice. The staff were great in helping with a pizza order to the room. They called me when the pizza delivery was downstairs in the lobby. The convenience of only being 5 minutes away from the airport is very important. There is a free shuttle if you are a guest at the hotel. I would surely come back to this hotel.

The hotel's location is very convenient access to both the Zurich Airport and downtown. Its shuttle-bus service is effective. Room is spacious and fully equipped.

This is a really great hotel. The staff is nice, the rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The restaurant offers a good choice of meal. Also, the airport shuttle makes it very easy to get to the airport from the hotel. The only down point is that some of the staff did not speak English in the restaurant and could not communicate with us. Since this is an hotel serving clients who come and go through an international airport, it is strange to have staff that can not speak English while working directly with clients. This aside, I will most definately go back to this hotel in a near future.

The hotel is very close to the airport. Comes a free car that takes you and your bags… And this is a huge plus. Spacious room…
Cons: A small bed, it is narrow for two… Shower… The pipets and not the shower, open, it does not close… And the Debil door, as in the wagon…

Comfortable, but I had a room with window next to the motorway to the airport, which was a bit noisy. The breakfast was quite tasty, good selection. Very comfortable was the shuffle bus, which goes every 15 min. To the airport.

The hotel is very good with all modern amenities. It's very near to Zurich airport and there is free bus shuttle by the hotel to and fro airport. However I didn't find the staff quite professional as they are too rude to foreigners.

It's all down to the friendliness and willingness to help by the staff, both in reception and in the restaurant and throughout the hotel. Also, the hotel itself is very comfortable with great sized rooms which are clean and well equipped. And there's a great shuttle service to and from the Airport. I've stayed in many hotels in Zurich and the Movenpick Airport is the best one I've stayed at.

5 * * * * * Business hotel in the years. Standard offers of the upscale hotel business but just no more. Room was practically furnished, clean and equipped with all necessities and in this category usual things. The possibility to get coffee, tea and croissants in the morning at 5 o'clock is also good if the flight starts early. Shuttle service from 05:15 every 15 minutes. Travel time approx. 6 minutes to departure gate. Staff were always friendly and helpful. For one night is worth the stay.

The mini bar is not complimentary. It does not have a pool. The beds are very nice all though the lights seem cheap. The food is slow.

Very clean, beds good, staff staff, restaurants good. Transfer from and to the airport every 15 minutes. Travel approx. 10 minutes. Zurich can be reached via the public good.

Hotel chosen for night before flight departure for adults plus kids. Convenient location, good shuttle and very good breakfast. Check-in experience fine too, but during the rest of the day observed some long queues (must be difficult to plan for high volume of guest all of a sudden).

Very good tartar and rich salad buffet. Don't forget the Glaces.

I would like to have my breakfast. But it couldn't… because the price of breakfast is too expensive. 33 Swiss francs is too much for un breakfast. I hope You consider my opinion. Please. Otherwise everything is good.

We had an excellent stay: fast pick up and transfer from/to the airport; fast, welcoming checking; large, well-appointed and very comfortable room which meant we all had a good night’s sleep, followed by excellent in-room coffee and fast departure for the next leg of our trip. We shall definitely return.

Price performance is right.
Food was excellent (tartar) after at the airport. Rooms are not the latest but OK.

Very convenient to get to the airport to park etc.

Shame on you… a hotel in Switzerland where not even a word in Italian!

Classic Mövenpick Hotel.
Due to the proximity to the airport constant rush hour.
Staff friendly and professional. Deduction due to the very high noise factor. The highway next door can be heard very clearly. Unfortunately the windows are accordingly poorly insulated.

Setting of rest and work pleasant enough between two final destinations. A Swiss order of fame.

Mövenpick Hotel Zürich Airport appeared to be a good choice after reading other reviews (apparently several written by the hotel to stack the reviews with untrue 5 star ones). But after staying there four nights, here's my authentic review, which is as follows: * The advertisement states "Soundproof windows, " which could not be further from the truth since on two nights (of my four nights), I was woken by loud jets at approximately 5 AM. In my home country, this would be considered as false advertisement. I cannot figure out why such an airport hotel does not have the expensive windows like so many other airport hotels around the world. * There was actual mold in the bathroom's tub and shower area as noted in the pictures I took. It could be worse, but this one is a health and safety issue. And this hotel should be reported to Zurich's health authorities. * Finally, I had room service, in which the meal was just okay (although too expensive). But the horrible part was the service waiter, in which I was completely offended by his usage of foul language. I reported his behaviour to management, but was never given an apology.

My children and I felt very comfortable. It was all good food service staff… Internet could be extended in the room unfortunately no reception.

Great breakfast and good facilities. The room was very spacious and the breakfast was very good. Close to the airport, ideal if you have a first hour flight because they also have shuttle service that takes you on anything.

Ended up staying here overnight as my flight was cancelled, hotel was very nice and the beds were comfortable so ended up with a good night's sleep. Dinner was ok and there was plenty of choice for breakfast — all staff we encountered were friendly and approachable.

The rooms are spacious and bright. Nice decoration. Restaurant with good food offer.
It's a shame they closed the Chinese restaurant they had. It was the best in the whole area by far and gave an important differentiation to this hotel as well as an added value.

For the second time, we expressly reserve adjoining rooms, for the second time we only get rooms next to each other… super W-end, each parent sleeping with 1 young child.

Movenpick is a big name in Hotels. This one is nice, you get a decent room, good bed. Even the smallest rooms are a descent size. It's an airport hotel so not much around but a shuttle is provided which takes you to the airport where there is a small mall with a food court and some shops. There is also a station 5 minutes away by foot, with a train that will get you downtown in around 10 minutes. The staff are typical European, pretty cold and not the friendliest, but they do their job. Would not count on them for much more than the basic services. As for the amenities a couple of nice restaurants, food prices are standard for Switzerland (that means sort expensive if you are from any other party of the world) but the quality is good. Be sure to check out the timings because they aren't always open.

Extremely rude front desk.
Shuttle service make you feel as they are doing you a favour. Breakfast concierge literally blocked us like we were about to break into the place; instead of greeting the guest and making us feel welcome. Front desk had one leg on the on top of a podium as was talking to us like he was in a bar!. Many times. Queen bed is not a queen bed by any standard. Not European and international standard. When they did a Google search they could not. Prove that the bed is a queen bed. Not one person greeted any one in the group.
Not even a smile. You need to ask all your questions Before you sign the paper. After you accept the check in they simply don't care and simply think that is your problem they are there only to give you a room. They seem to think Lying is actually okay. And kept doing that… They cater to mostly Airline staff. So do not go there if you are not a airline staff.

Very nice and clean. Staff friendly and courteous. I would return. Shuttle service back and forth to airport is excellent. It was always on time. Easy and quick check in and check out. Breakfast has a large variety of items to choose. We had dinner one night in the restaurant and it was very tasty.

Beautiful place and Great hospitality. Le chalet steak house was amazing! The seasoned butter for the steak was delicious it's a must have.

It's not bad. They are more generous than other hotels. They leave complimentary water bottles and some chocolates every night. It's clean and close to airport. Friendly staff as well. Helped me find a restaurant to eat at.

Very welcoming. All services are good. But for one person the bed is very small and the cushion was flat. Otherwise it goes but not Supert Supert.

Clean rooms, fantastic location. Convenient shuttle service. Very slow service. Check in took about 10 min. They offer electricity adaptors for a deposit which is great, but I had to wait another 10 min to get the receptionist's attention. Room service — no one picked up for 5 min, eventually someone picked up saying "I'm busy now, I'll call you later" so I decided to go down to the restaurant although I would have much preferred to eat in my room as I was very tired. Restaurant service was slow and chaotic to say the least even though it was half empty. Waiters were running around being confused with the checks and paying little attention to the tables. Food however was very good quality. For this price at both the hotel and the restaurant, I had higher expectations.

The property is wonderful. Very close to the airport. At the entrance is a sit out for the bar Le Chalet. The bar and all the bartenders are super. The lobby is big and very comfortable. The rooms are big and airy. With all amenities and the beds are very cosy. The breakfast is big and sumptuous with an egg and omelette station. The Asian lady chef here has a good hand at cooking the eggs. The whole thing gives you a nice feeling. Most of the staff are helpful and polite.

Well placed near the airport with a regular shuttle service pity that not all rooms have a Nespresso coffee machine coffee is better than powdered coffee! On our last visit two weeks ago we had a coffee machine and a bottle of water offered + 2 small chocolates that was perfect!

The food was fantastic, but a bit expensive. The location was easy to find. Hotel was well maintained outdoors, and looked very nice inside as well. Service was very nice.

First class service and accordingly expensive. The Sunday brunch is a real treat. I've never been in the hotel but the restaurant is always top. Sometimes it takes something until it is served or until the food comes, the food is always top and it depends on me if I eat here.

Terrible customer service. Reservations manager wouldn't even return calls. Rooms sold out and still charged. Awful. DO NOT BOOK! You'll be taken advantage of.

Really nice hotel. Arrangements were made by the cruise line we were taking for a Rhine river cruise. When we realized the hotel provided feathered pillows and comforters we asked they be removed and they did so quickly even though the hour was late. They were very helpful in providing train directions. The restaurant and bar were very good.

Cannot rate the rooms as I never slept there but the beef tartar in its restaurant is one of the best I ever had. Definitely recommendable for everyone who likes to eat this raw meat speciality.

An amazing hotel. Free shuttle service b/w hotel and the airport. (Hint: from the airport take a metro into the city. Much cheaper than renting a taxi). Very friendly staff. Among experience overall.

Airport pickup for free from just a little further up on the road where the taxis are between arrival 1 and 2. Nice hotel. Kind, english speaking staff. Good heating, nice bathroom. Iron, ironboard, etc. TV is flat but a little old and slow to use. Internet is steady but only 1/1Mbit upload/download. Not too fast nowadays but skype video call still worked ok.

Conveniently located close to the airport. Friendly front office staff. Parking is CHF 20 per night. Pictures of the room looked more modern than the one I actually got.

Super, we go every 3 months times with friends better than ever.

We booked a prepaid stay for one night. The bad surprise came with the credit card bill statement. They did charge us 42 CA$ after we left the premises. After checking with the card company, they confirmed these were transactions done with my PIN … an hour after we have left Switzerland by plane. So the hotel charged us after we left. When I called them to check what was this unauthorized charge for, they said it was for water consumption from the room fridge. So they sold us water without us even knowing it, or agreeing to purchase. Completely disappointed of these tricky selling practices! Keep your selling items at the bar, or in the room services storage place!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Spoke English well. Food divine. Bed room clean, bed super comfy, for a great jet lag sleep. Airport pickup prompt. Would recommend.

Upon arrival the staff was cordial and polite. Although the room was a bit outdated, it was clean and comfortable. There's a restaurant downstairs with a great menu.

The welcome was very good! On the other hand too hard mattress for my taste and a lot of surrounding noise. But as it was just for one night before our departure by plane, it was acceptable.

Bad zone if you want to see Zurich but if you want to leave Zurich its really fine. Very nice rooms.

Decent room for the price. Free airport shuttle a plus. Free wired and wireless internet worked as advertised on phone and laptop. Fast enough for video chats to the US. Wonderful food in three restaurants with attentive service. Overall I'm happy to have stayed here.
