Review of Travel Habitat - Centro

We have always liked Habitat. However, I am very disappointed with the lack of transparency and poor customer service. We did order a sofa in the store of Habitat in Valencia last November. From the first moment the attention was regular: despite being empty the store it took an hour to make the order which involved multiple steps; and the printer had problems so we do not presented the terms and conditions of sale in hand but we sent him by mail the following day (it is a mistake on our part to be so confident! ). The shipping costs were high (70€) despite having card Inhabitant VIP, and the order was delayed 2 more weeks of the date of delivery, and not bothered to inform us. But we had to be up to us to call to find out where was our order. Once we received the couch at home — not being able to have seen him in physical in the store already that was not available, — we see that we do not like the quality of the furniture (the structure and the look are usually cheap) and we decided to return it. What is our surprise when we called the store of Valencia to request a return and reported to us that is not possible, because the couches are excluded from your returns policy. Is not possible for us or to make a change (with which we would be more than satisfied), or a refund. I find it very disappointing that an international company like Habitat have a returns policy so lousy, but what I find even worse is that is not clear with the client regarding the terms of sale. We are not informed of this verbally at any time during the purchase, the terms will not be handed over to time and we do not understand that something as important as an exception to the policy of withdrawal of the company does not highlight. But it is even worse than the article you bought has an icon of "satisfied or reimbursed" on its web site that had made us be very quiet at the time of making the purchase. Neither satisfied, nor refunded in this case. It would be great that my comment, although it does not serve to help me, serve to be more transparent in communicating to its customers the conditions of sale and potential customers are aware of this exclusion.
