Nice hotel with quality service.

Our room smelled like sewage, the sink wouldn't drain, the spa was filthy and the showers didn't work in the men's changing room nor was there soap or shampoo. The service in the bar was so slow. After ordering a drink it took 15 minutes to get it (it was deserted). Same for the check. The hotel was VERY run down
We tried to cancel the third night of our stay and they said we would be charged anyway. Not what we consider 5 star.

Outstanding service. I had my flights cancelled and the hotel staff made sure my stay was “stress-free” had an upgrade and lots of details that made my stay truly enjoyable. The two girls in recepction Sofia and Claudia, were incredible kind.

A beautiful, old converted palace, that's fairly reasonably priced for the quality. Bonus: access to the spa/sauna is included at no additional cost, and is worth the visit.

"Afternoon relaxing Night" We spent a fantastic evening-night celebrating our anniversary. From start to finish. Both massage and spa as well as dinner, especially the waiter, Alberto, who mimó us during dinner to not be able. And the place is worthy of being visited by its beauty.

I went last Sunday for the spa and massage and loved it, the front desk staff (Claudia, Matteo, Sofia and Maria) very attentive and friendly upon our arrival. The Great spa, and the massage of Vilma and Tania loved it, they took care of every detail so that we were very comfortable. I would repeat without a doubt.

The hotel itself looked pretty. But the spa… two hours to get bored… a pool of 4 meters as a lot of long and 1 and a half wide. A sauna and a Turkish bath… it's not worth it.

I was dining in the hotel restaurant with a bonus that we had been given. The dinner was great, both in the service, as in the presentation of the dishes, the quality of the food, the quantity and with that mixture of very careful and surprising ingredients. We liked it very much and we sure recommend it.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful design, room very spacious and comfortable. Staff very nice, very smiling, always in small care! Location of the hotel ideal for visiting Valencia the most: tasty breakfast and gargantuan.

Right now lying on a big bed in a warm room after having taken a bath in the huge bathtub in boats I could be all split I am (1 ' 80) well…
Tonight we have dined in the restaurant Ampar, food and treatment exquisite.
In the afternoon we received a couple massage, the physiotherapists Vilma and the other girl I see that was Tania… Very professional, asking how we wanted the massage, adapting to our tastes and getting so it was one of the best massages I have received for some time.
For now all the experience of the Valentine pack we have chosen to be a great success and very happy…

Very nice hotel under room was just under the roof. A lot of charm and very quiet on foot quickly at all sights.

If you want a moment of relaxation, do not hesitate to take here. Nice interior terrace. Quiet and well decorated.

We repeat again and confirm the great sensations perceived from the first time. Again, Alberto attended us, who informed us, advised and suggested with great success throughout the dinner, which made enjoy even more if it fits the evening. The dishes, both the entrées, the main meat and fish, as well as the desserts are presented with a lot of care and cooked with great flavor, in a word: impeccable.
Also highlight the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the room.
Without a doubt, we will return as soon as the occasion arises.

I quite enjoyed my at this hotel. It's in the perfect location in central Valencia, just to the side of the busiest and most bustling streets and yet within walking distance of wherever you need to go. The rooms are clean and comfortable, yet small for the price. The restaurant downstairs has amazing food but, again, is overpriced. So many better choices to be found nearby as far as dining is concerned. Staff are attentive and well trained, as expected of a 5* hotel. Everything that you would expect from an expensive hotel will meet, but probably not surpass your expectations. As others have said it does indeed have a welcoming, relaxing feel to it, like a family owned hotel.

Friendly staff, clean and great breakfast from the area. It is right in the centre, walking everywhere. Restaurants, church and museums. Will always be happy to come back.

5-Star Hotel. I have not stayed, but if I have eaten several times in their restaurant and this all Buenisimo. The dishes are very elaborate, with very fresh products and great desserts. The service is very good and the location is very quiet.

I love having breakfast in my city hotels: They provide me with the feeling of traveling and vacationing. I have already chosen the breakfast that Palau de la Mar offers a couple of times. A more than advisable way to spend a morning time to replenish strength with a varied buffet. The price is around €24, it can turn out, at first glance something expensive, but it goes to the tenor of the five stars that the hotel has. The treatment and service is painstaking, the raw materials well-rich and with a thousand combinations for all tastes. Although this is not a breakfast in the offer, for example, cava, you can arrange it as a great brunch for a holiday. In addition, with the foreign press available… it may even seem that you speak German!. Possibility, also, of breakfast on the terrace. And this is a privilege, as the Calle Navarro Reverter is one of the largest in Valencia, with wide sidewalks and little traffic. Overlooking our triumphal arch or the Flower Bridge. And, Attention! On this terrace, you can take your canine companion, who will be well received.

Front desk staff are amazing. Very helpful friendly and always smiling. Breakfast is one of the best in Spain. Rooms very clean nice big comfortable beds. Lovely garden to have cocktails. Lunch is very good too. Great wait staff.

Pros: Great location, super close to a great spot in the big park, very close to city center. Staff is very professional and friendly Good breakfast. Nice selection and great service. Our room was HUGE, lots of space to get around, it was very nice Nice patio to have a drink at Cons: There were no real windows in the room, which was a bit of a bummer (it was a loft in the top most floor so there were only two upwards facing windows). The room was otherwise very nice The minibar was tiny, it would have been nice to be able to buy stuff outside and store in a fridge in the room.

The front of the house team of Belen, Lena and Adrian made me feel very taken care of as a guest and also valued as a guest on my departure (check out process is also very important for fine hotels, in my opinion — it leaves you with a lasting impression). The night shift receptionist (I did not see her name tag) was very helpful in sorting out some taxi issues we had and was so patient & pleasant during it all. They are very professional and try their best to make your stay in Valencia a great one. All concerns are addressed and you feel "at home" there. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location (also very important for us! ). We traveled for a whole month all over Spain for a luxury gastronomic trip and have chosen the Hospes brand whenever they were available in the cities on our agenda. I can say confidently that excellent service is their brand identity (and the historic buildings are a bonus too! ) I will book there for my next visit to Valencia and whichever other cities they are present.

Helpful friendly staff, good food, great vegan and vegetarian options. If vegan definitely try the spirulina pasta, It was amazing. Also try the tofu burger from the bar menu. Very small but nice spa/pool area. Also a small gym. Had a good back massage for €31 after the €20 discount given to us on arrival. Nice rooms and great location to walk around Valencia.

I spend about a week at this lovely hotel. The location is great, close to shopping on Colon Street, close to the old town, as well as being close to a wide variety of great restaurants. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. They'e genuinely seeking to make their customer's comfortable and happy during their stay. When I first checked in I was given a room with a very awkward layout. The bathroom was too small and I was just overall not happy with the room. So I spoke to the reception and they quickly accommodated changing me to a different room. The second room was definitely better, however, I just expected nicer, larger, and more comfortable rooms for a 5-star hotel. Lastly, besides the small rooms, the reason I'm giving this hotel 4-stars rather than 5 is because I expected better amenities from a 5-star hotel. The gym/work area isn't something you can really workout in you also can't expect to take a swim in the "pool". Having that said, I would still stay again at this hotel. When compared to other hotels in the area it definitely surpasses most of them when it comes to convenience, quality, and service.

We recently stayed at this hotel for three nights to celebrate my husband's Birthday — whilst we were disappointed with the junior suite we were assigned given it did not have access to natural light nor a separate sitting room as per description, the hotel itself was outstanding and the hotel staff and management did all they could to resolve our issues and get our stay back on track whilst we awaited another suite becoming available. The hotel food, service, lounges and staff all rate as outstanding and impeccable — the fact we couldn't be moved to another suite for two nights of our stay is the only reason we haven't awarded 5 stars.

I spent two nights in the hotel with my wife. The hotel is nice and the staff is very nice. Good breakfast buffet. I have never dined or had lunch in the hotel restaurant, so I cannot express a judgement on the quality of the food. Is ca. 10 min. Walk to the Colon Metro stop, and ca. 15 min. From the town Hall Square. Has a SPA.
I have only given 3 stars because, although it is officially classified as 5 stars, it is a 4-star mid-level, with no infamy or praise.

The previous summer, son working for Mercedes-Benz garage time, arranged housing in the hotel. Very nice, spotless. Is not like the Chinese luxury. Five-star hotel has everything, anyone talk about is services.

I felt like a queen there. The service is great, the spa is fine, the design is tasty, the breakfast is enormous, and the location in the city is great. Highly recommended.

One of the best places to eat in the city.

The hotel is quite well, but the rating of 5 * does not correspond le. The rooms are small, the communal areas also and in general there was no special detail/touch or anything that makes you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel.
Not ceased to be a good experience, but I expected more. For that price I am safe that there are far better hotels the best thing was the dinner at the restaurant: food rich and very attentive waiters.
