First time here and it’s amazing. Staff are so polite & friendly and nothing is too much if you need help. Food is really good too with a wide variety everyday. 7 pools to choose from and no running for sunbeds and reserving them as there are more than enough to go around. Definitely coming here again next year. One of the best hotels by far we have stayed at. Fantastic all round.

No problems staff all great food very varied plenty of choice for everyone, Adult only pool superb, Shower not very good low pressure and sometimes a bit cold, and only one bar on a evening serving which sometimes course a que, all in all v good.

Great entertainment, and fabien is great with the children, very funny man, very clean hotel, lovely food, the pools lovely and clean but some of the bar staff very grumpy,

Fantastic 3 night stay! hotel and staff was brilliant, we stayed around the adults pool and the barman I forgot his name was such a lovely guy and kept our drinks flowing, only downside was getting bitten by mosquitoes but once got repellent was all ok, would highly recommend this place for a relaxing break. Thanks all at eix lagotel your pino colada’s and Cherry brandy slushes was amazing 🤩

This is our second day here and although the weather ain’t great the hotel is lovely. Very clean the rooms are far better than imagined lovely space and has all your comforts you would get at home. Kettle toaster fridge, TV etc. The hotel grounds are lovely and the pools are good size with an adult pool with jacuzzi for adults only.
Food is great and very nice selection staff are friendly I would definitely recommend it and come back again with my family or friends.

Twice we have been this year, because the first visit wasn’t enough! By far, of all the places I have visited the staff are amazing. Everyone from guest services for arranging a birthday surprise for my wife, the staff on reception, in the restaurant, all were so kind and helpful A special thanks to the entertainment staff Fabian and Laia. This year that have put on an amazing day and evening for the adults and children, despite having their hands tied due to Covid. We will miss you guys so much until next year Lagotel is more than just the bricks and mortar, it’s the people too. Lagotel is family, home from home. We love it. Thank you.

Fantastic hotel, from the hotel reception, the cleaners, bar staff, entertainment, anyone associated to this wonderful place.

I don't normally write reviews but wanted to show my appreciation after another fantastic 2 weeks at the Lagotel. A great hotel with a great family atmosphere and the owners should be very proud of the staff. The steps taken by the hotel and staff to mitigate against Covid were very impressive, with staff constantly cleaning and sanitiser everywhere. We felt very safe and I certainly felt far safer than back home. Yes it's quieter than normal but this had advantages too with plenty of room and no queues. Fabian still puts on fantastic entertainment and there are no pool restrictions. We had a great time last year and it was just as good this year. None of us wanted to come home. A special mention though to Fabian and Lucia who were both absolutely tremendous and went the extra mile to make this a great holiday for us and the children. We had some great conversations and nothing was ever too much trouble. I really can't thank them enough for the time and kindness they showed. See you all next year!

Very good experience, excellent treatment. Great apartment, good buffet (you just need to take care of a little more variety of food for celiacs). Very good facilities. Good value for money.

Great hotel. The staff are all so nice and helpful, great entertainment for everyone, hotel spotlessly clean, rooms cleaned daily, all precautions taken in the hotel sanitising stations throughout the hotel can’t wait to go back next year again.

Stayed here August 2019 booked again for August 2020 we have 3 kids.
The kids clubs brilliant and there was many teens gathering at the activities put on for them.
Eve entertainment perfect mix of everything.
Good food.
Lots of sun beds.
Clean.
Modern.
Beach amazing — nice walk down there.
Lots of little shops in muro 10 min walk away.
We made lovely friends here and the kids straight away wanted to come back! We used the adult pool when the kids were in kids club n it was so trendy and quiet My kids loved the club and wanted to go to the morning session as well as afternoon. They made so many friends from doing so — so they played with them all evenin! Fab is amazing! Staff are brilliant Book direct! We can’t wait!

The food is amazing, rooms very clean, friendly staff.
The only downside I find is the smoking.
We are non smokers and you can not escape this when out for the evening entertainment. It would be great to have a non smoking side?

Lovely place for familys and benn going for 18 years now Fabian is the best and hotel staff are fantastic and staff are family.

Very nice hotel. Clean. Beautiful spacious and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and always present to answer questions and deal with small inconveniences. The shuttle to the beach is really convenient, a little nod to the driver who is really super friendly. The pools are large and clean, the surroundings are well laid out. The only downside for us was the food. We find it really unfortunate that there are no more "homemade" dishes but that won't stop us from coming back, certainly next year! See you soon!

Just arrived home after 7 fantastic days at the Lagotel. It was perfect for our 10 and 8 year girls and for us too. The food was delicious — plenty for vegetarians — with a great variety over the week. The hotel is immaculate and the rooms comfortable. The location was ideal for a family holiday and we would visit again. Great evening entertainment as well.

Just home after our 3rd family holiday at the Lagotel. Great spot for families, stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with our 3. We stayed all inclusive again and food is very good, there is something for everyone. Place is spotless, staff are great and pools are fab. Saw big improvements since last visit 3 yrs ago. Good entertainment nightly and shuttle bus to the beach /main street is a huge bonus even if it is only a 10/12 minute walk. Highly recommended.

We’ve just got back this morning it was very hot.
The hotel is lovely rooms are clean and spacious. Entertainment is brilliant lots of activities.
Breezer pools are fantastic for the kids lovely and chilled out. Main pool bit busy but still lovely. Adult only pool really quiet but lovely to chill for an hour or so without the kids. Only criticism is there wasn’t much of a choice when it came to food if you like pork and fish you will be fine but wasn’t much for the kids Especially my son who is autistic and ended up eating chips all week which wasn’t good. There was chicken but it was mainly on the bone which none of my children eat to be honest I ate chips and salad most of the time there. Except for dinner time when we ate at the snack bar chips and hotdog chips and burger chips and pizza lots of chips but other then that we had a fantastic time. Oh and Pack mosquito spray because you will definitely need it we got eaten alive there was a party of 18 of us and we all got bit including the babies.

Lovley staff, very helpful and genuinely pleasant hotel to stay. Stayed last year and already booked to go back in June.

After initially perceiving this hotel as an elegant establishment, my experience staying here has changed my mind. Whilst it is an aesthetic resort with good facilities, this hotel charges a 4* price but gives you a 2* service. Having booked a room with a double bed for me and my girlfriend, I discovered that double rooms do not get Wi-Fi. When I asked reception for help, they literally told me to choose between staying in a room with two single beds (that could not be pushed together) and have Wi-Fi, or stay in our double room and not have Wi-Fi. Furthermore, despite having over 300 rooms, apparently only 6 of them have a double bed and all of these do not have Wi-Fi. I could not believe what I was hearing; given that 4* hotels usually have to abide by a certain standard of service. Had I not booked through Expedia, I wouldn't have gotten anything back off them as they offered me no other solution. The manager was not particularly helpful either, but was rather well trained in appearing friendly whilst not offering a feasible solution. Also, don't expect to be able to sleep past 8:30am, as you WILL be woken up by a guy with a leaf blower blowing non-existent leaves. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again, and I highly recommend that you do not book to stay here either because this hotel does not deserve to stay in business if it carries on treating customers this way (at least not as a 4* hotel). The buffet at least was decent value.

Friendly staff, good pools, broken sauna, broken chair on our balcony, our room looked onto the pools, and onto the entertainment stage, very loud until 12pm, and entertainment very poor, don't expect an early night if your going out for the day the next day, as for the food, we found it very poor choice also, ended up going out for a Burger King, breakfast was the best meal of the day. Rooms were clean and tidied every day, All inclusive, you are served drinks/juice and food, all drinks and juice are in small glasses so by the time you get back to your seat at the pool, your drink is finished, and you have to go back and queue u again, it would be better with help yourself, and bigger glasses.

It's an 'okay' hotel. But same food everyday. But good entertainment for kids and grown ups. With a mini disco and 8:30 for kids. There is also cool attractions like a beach with a free shuttle bus to take and some shops around the beach too.

Lovely hotel, and surroundings, clean pool area and plenty of sun loungers, 20 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and bars or there's a free shuttle bus from the hotel. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was very good can't comment on other sittings as only b&b.

Our last night tonight after 10days, just me and the wife! Our first holiday abroad without the kids! This hotel has lots of young children about but you would never have guessed that, as we used the 18 years and over pool which was lovely and peaceful. We stayed B&B the food was spot on, the room was more than adequate, staff very friendly, we read other reviews that said the beach was a long walk (this isn't true) its a 10 minute stroll, there's even a FREE shuttle bus every 30 minutes. I would recommend this hotel (or area) to anyone.

Great staff. Lots of activities all day and night. Big food hall. Kids small table choice could be better but plenty on the big tables for them to enjoy. 2 pool areas with a bar and snack area for u to help yourself. 2 pool tables. Darts board. Playground. Trampolines in the evening and pancake stall (not included in all-inclusive). Bingo is decent. Ice cream freezer by bar's so u help yourself but only during the day. Laundrette is by main reception. Race to sunbed starts at 8am. Free bus to the beach and back although is only a 15min walk. Kids club isn't great… nicknamed colouring club by parents. This was in 2017 July. Beach is gorgeous plenty of boat trips etc. Nice walk into alcudia if u want a big shopping centre or there are plenty of gift shops etc 10min from the hotel. If there are 4 or more it is cheaper to get a horse and cart ride than a bus to take u to alcudia. Spar is 5min walk from hotel, great for snacks etc but Inflatables are cheaper from the town.

All in all, damn good hotel! Entertainment is great for the kids, facilities are great, and the food is lovely. We went all-inclusive, so we could get drinks and food whenever we wanted. All menus offer all-inclusive and "paid" options, with the all-in options being clearly marked. Snacks are pretty basic — pizza, burger, chips, and salad are available pretty much all day, but the main meal times are much more varied. Shuttle bus to the town/beach runs pretty much every 20 mins or so, and is free. Plenty of places to eat near the beach, and lots of gift shops. If you do want to walk, it's about 5 minutes away. Bad points? Two single beds pushed together to make a double, and they constantly slide apart — if they're being pushed together, strap them together or something. Also, the wooden slats under the mattress constantly come out with the slightest amount of pressure — they need an upgrade. Would definitely recommend!

For a last minute holiday away and a random pick, this was great for a few days away. Friendly staff and decent rooms. Deffinatly recommend and we'll be back again for sure. Also worth mentioning that there is an 18+ only pool for getting away from the kids.

The good bits first. The bathrooms roomy and a great shower Evening entertainment 8 out of 10 nights have been fairly good. Clean. 3 different pools. Reception &canteen staff very friendly and chirpy. Entertainment staff work very hard. All inclusive should mean ALL inclusive but here it doesnt. There is limited food at the snack bars and not great when it arrives. Cocktails are not included until 7pm!. I have never complained about the food on all inc before: But the food is repetative. No flavour unless you like bland. Chips seem to be the staple here. Who eats runner beans for breakfast? Beds not very comfy. I could not in all honesty recommend this hotel for all inclusive guests. Go self catering and eat out.

Stayed here June 2018 with my 3 children. We would definitely return had a little kitchenette in room found brilliant fir my little one who is really fussy with food so took noodles for him. Really close to beach and things to do. Always beds free around pools as pool opens at 9 so no rush for beds. Pools are freezing but when your in it’s ok. Excellent value for money but wouldn’t bother with restaurant it costs about €46 for 2 adults and 2 children nothing really but chips and ice cream for the kids. We took our own cereal from home to have breakfast in our room. We hired a card highly recommended as beautiful sights to be seen. Would go back fir 2019.

Everything very clean, well-groomed, nice staff who are not intrusive in the background, beautiful rooms, beautiful outdoor area with different pools and also the buffet offers a wide variety of food selections. I can only rave about the hotel except the distance to the beach might be a bit far for some, I find it very quiet and relaxed. Even the gym has only very weak equipment, could be better equipped. Since only small criticisms 5 stars.

Very quiet and cozy! The food is very good. Rich I varied with vegan option I also with lots of info for allergic and intolerant.

Had s great holiday here rooms nice and big food was ok would be better if it was served hotter when it came out of the kitchens a bit of a walk to the shops but over all nice hotel for the price of a stay here.

Relatively large hotel, where many Englishmen spend their holidays. Children's entertainment is available from early to late evening. If you are looking for relaxation, this is the wrong place to book an adult hotel.

I loved my and my family starting with the waiters, Manu, Joan Sastre, Javer, Paqui etc… and animators like Carlos and Niko! Super good deal, very clean and the food delicious… We recommend it! We will definitely come back.

Minigolf, 3 or 4 tennis courts. One of football, 2 tables of PIM Pon. Another 2 tennis courts, but these are semi-enclosed with walls and fences. Ideal to celebrate birthdays in sunny days or that day does not rain. They're a little deteriodadas the facilities. But they keep useful. Only suggestion to the site. On a lamppost. I didn't have the cover of the Electric box. Reparadla. Something unwanted to happen.

Decent hotel with good pool and selection of food. Staff helpful and facilities good. It's a pretty good place for a holiday overall. It's not going to appeal to demanding holidaymakers or those expecting 5* but for the money you can do a lot worse. And the sun is free and plentiful!

The Hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious. Good food without exaggerating. Good value for money.

Having a great time. Kids enjoying themselves too. Eat lots, drink lots weather is pretty good and it's not too busy. So far so good! Beach just a short walk.

We were 6 days with all inclusive, after reading several opinions went with "fear" but less bad that I did not listen; The meals and dinners in the restaurant were very good, not repeated even one day, there was variety and taste, there was even a common theme (the only food and dinner schedules very adapted to Guiris, but you just do and it is so in all hotels area). The hotel is 15 min walk from the beach wall although they have private bus service every 30min that brings you closer to anything. In the area of Playa Muro There are many shops and restaurants, the area is designed for foreigners and the hotel had only Spanish. The hotel and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Next to the lagoon (quiet area), there is a bit of humidity and chilly that at this time of year, it is noticeable. Tennis facilities, minigolf etc. A little old, but enough, large pools and lots of hammocks. Snack bar area, cafeteria all right.

All staff were very good and ready to help. The tui rep was available most days and happy to help anyone even from another company (as easy jet rep is only available for 2 x 3hrs a week). Meals were lovely but just need reorganizing so they more logical (butter and jams near toast kind of thing) All restaurant staff very helpful Rooms — nothing fancy but clean and spacious and are cleaned daily. Bar — Wine, beer and sangria, pop, coffee and slushies all self serve from main restaurant (not sangria) outside bar and inside bar. Entertainment. Mini disco starts a bit late in my opinion and is therefore containing only about 5 songs. Bingo excellent. Entertainment after that was sometimes hit and miss but that's just down to personal taste. Good most nights though. Mosquito repellent is most certainly needed at night. In house entertainers are completely fabulous for both adults and children's entertainment Pool always clean and refreshing.

Just got back after spending a week at the lagotel, the hotel and staff were excellent, the room was lovely size and had everything you needed even kept cleaned by th maids everyday. The pool was excellent size and plenty of room, the only snag there if didn't get to pool early enough there was no sun beds left to provide for everybody in hotel. The food was good and there was stuff that did cater for all ages but do think that the choice could of been a lot more than it was. The entertainment was absolutely fab, cannot fault the entertainment team at all especially angel who is fantastic, the only thing was with the entertainment team was there could of been more entertainment but also they provided entertainment for the little children and then adults but there was nothing for the kids that was in between (around the teenager age) as we had 4 children around that age. Bingo was fantastic with great cash prizes. Miss lagotel and mr lagotel was funny never laughed so much, even though I won the miss lagotel 2017 on the first nite we was there. Gutted we missed the entertainment the one nite because of power cut, but I know nothing could be done about that. I would also said Wi-Fi really needs improving as well, especially know where the technology is different to ten years ago. But apart from little things cannot fault the holiday and would recommend it to anybody, was gutted had to leave as have had such a fantastic week and wished we could of stayed longer.

Food was very good, The dining room staff were terrible though in organising seating arrangements. One woman in particular was like a little dictator, Throwing a strop with us because we had the audacity to 'set' a table ourselves as they were too busy to set a table big enough for our group. She made every excuse under the sun for us not to be able to sit there, yet after we moved, someone else tried sitting us at the very same table we had just been moved from. The rooms were nice, spacious and clean. The food at the snack bars was poor, but edible. Wi-Fi here was reasonable. Drinks at the bar were poor quality, They are advertising and pouring beer from Estrella pumps, yet the beer was watered down something else, and definitely NOT Estrella.

Only on our 3rd day but thoroughly enjoying this resort. Can't complain about anything. Having read previous reviews I was prepared for the crazy dash for sunbeds at 8am so we just took our time and came to pool at 10am and put towels on the grass. Food, pools, entertainment and staff all good. Free shuttle to beach which is lovely. We booked self catering but decided on 2nd day to buy into all inclusive with 3 kids and it's definately going to save us alot of money. Range of drinks on all inclusive is impressive. Would definitely come back here. Kids loving it.

Rooms are nice. Cleaned every day. Air conditioned. Has its own shower and toilet… food and drinks served all day long… as well as entrainment for the kids and adults at nite… very good for the money. Has 2 large pools with sun loungers.

The hotel and activities it does while you're there are brilliant. For families and couples of all ages. The choice of different foods is also top notch, there's something for everyone. Users of all languages will have a brilliant time here as the entertainment staff try to incorporate everyone. Really good overall. My only problem was the beds. I'm not exactly inhumanely tall at 6ft 2, and I found the beds to be slightly on the small side. — Other than that absolutely love the place.

The rooms are fine, but it's disgusting how you never get a sun lounger unless you que up at 7.30 when the pool doesn't open up till 9am, the food is hit or miss some days it's nice then it's nasty other days, the restaurant staff are bitchy and moody never saw a smile, and Are holiday rep had no communication skills and lies About day trips. There is a lake opposite us and you get bit a lot. The pool is always busy. Then evening entertainment is boring and annoying. I will never go back there again that's for sure.
