We stayed here recently in a room with a view of the heated pool. The accommodation was spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful and would change bedding on request. The rooms were cleaned every other day which for us wasn't a problem. There was a large selection of food at breakfast and evening meal which included hot and cold options. The kids entertainment was beyond our expectations and the staff were relentless in keeping all the children entertained. My daughter has had the time of her life and I would recommend this hotel for anyone with children on a budget.

Enjoyed a lovely week here. Stayed in block 10 facing one of the pools see to our left nice spacious room with everything we needed luggage room if you have a late flight home. Can't comment on food as never ate at hotel. Plenty sunbeds all through the day. Very friendly staff. Room cleaned every other day.

I booked on my own to meet family who were already there and looked forward to arriving having stayed before and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sadly the sunbed situation is absolutely horrendous. At 10.05 one morning 73 had towels on them, a group of 6 weren’t used until after 3, presumably after a day out, others left for hours too, reception and pool staff uninterested. My apartment was an upgrade so that was a bonus, however my bedding wasn’t changed once during my stay. My door key locked me out twice, first time fixed quickly as maintenance man was passing and I stopped him, the 2nd time I waited outside on my own for 40 minutes before someone came to help me. In my sons apartment he had only one curtain in the bedroom instead of 2 and despite asking on 3 separate occasions this was never fixed the whole holiday. The whole complex is in need of a little TLC. All in all little things leave a lot to be desired.

We have been visiting Lanzarote for the last 20 years and have never had any issues. Unfortunately this time we had our passports stolen out of the hotel room, all 3 of them. This caused us an extreme amount of stress and upset as we had to pay for 9 extra nights at this hotel while we waited for our emergency documents to be delivered there. the reception team were really nice and helped us when we needed but unfortunately when we reported the passports as stolen, no one even came to check our room was secure. We were just left, alone to sort everything out ourselves. we really didn't want to stay in this hotel for an extra 9 nights as we didn't want to pay a hotel extra money for stealing from us but we had no other choice while we waited for our documents. I hope whoever it was who took our passports will one day feel guilty that they left my 4 year old daughter stranded in a foreign country away from her Daddy for a lot longer than we expected to be away for. I will never return to this hotel.

The facilities are outdated, especially the dining room. The food is very mediocre. The Suite does not have 2 bedrooms as they advertise, but 1 and the bathroom pipes have an unbearable smell. They also offer it for 4 people and there is only room for 2, they simply add 2 extra beds in the living room. The photos do not correspond. The Wi-Fi does not work well. We have complained and they have not attended to us. We certainly won't be back. We do not recommend it.

Second time I've been and my last … rooms not cleaned propley bedding wasn't changed towels changed twice … smelly bathroom could not get rid of the urine smell … we paid for a suite which was grubby n smelt stale… very rude Chinese woman who is in the restaurant bullies you to pay for your drinks at the table before you've even touched your food… tables being cleared has people are still eating … breakfast was ok you could find something … dinner was a different story tasteless processed cheap food … wasn't worth the money we payed… male evening reception staff uninterested in helping complained when we asked for a spare mask … said the next one would cost us a euro … going back to this Chinese woman. she was very rude watching us making sure we never left the restaurant before we paid for drinks you could feelnher eyes on you felt very uncomfortable… she never served us on this occasion hence why she was fixated on us making sure we payed… money money money is what this hotel wants even charging you for your passenger locator form to be printed … I've never known this before and I am well travelled … if you want a proper cleaned room … good food good customer service go elsewhere.

Just back from a week here and had the best time. It was so clean, had everything we needed, great location and lovely staff. Will definitely be back.

Thank you again guys for another (6th) fantastic holiday. We so missed this place last year as soon as we could we had to come back. Had a superior sea view room and would highly recommend one of these, clean all covid protection taken. Breakfast and staff were delightful as always. See you again next year.

We’ve just returned from a week here, we had a lovely time, staff were friendly and the entertainment team were fab! The grounds and pool areas were very well looked after, there was plenty of choice at breakfast time. We had a large apartment on front over looking the beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Brilliant hotel for both families and couples, the new rooms are lovely and spacious, cleaned regularly all in all a top rate hotel.

Just spent 10 days here with family celebrating my sons 3rd birthday… brilliant hotel and staff. They made my sons birthday special and entertained him all holiday… we will defo be back next year!

Beautiful place, staff very friendly, and entertainment staff are amazing especially Perla who was my son callum's favourite. We can't wait to book and come back. The best holiday we have been on by far.

We come here 2 or 3 times a year very friendly staff always have a smile for you nothing is too much trouble.

Stayed here for our first time in lanzarote and it was fantastic, great location, it has 2 pools with a children's pool with slide and a large park. Rooms were clean and well presented, the children's room had toys in it which was a lovely touch. Entertainment at night was good, mini disco for the children with face painting then an act on after, which was different every night, the children loved the bird show and the reptile show! would highly recommend and will visit again!

Absolutely loved our stay here my only complaint was the beds mattresses were like Rock's I know it's all being refurbished so hopefully they will be giving new beds with the refurbished apartments.

we were in one if the older rooms but still very clean and beds so comfortable.
staff are all amazing and so cheery. We were self catering so can't comment on food but there's a supermarket straight across the road if you need anything. Hotel is in a perfect location for all the restaurants and bars.
we will be returning… can't wait to see the new refurbished rooms.

Had a great time kid friendly great area clean and comfortable.

Just arrived home from a lovely chilled holiday at the galeón Playa. Its our 2nd time here and we love it. The hotel is in a perfect location and it's sparkling clean. The staff couldn't be more helpful, from correcting my silly transfer mistakes, to literally climbing a wall onto a tree to rescue my boys toy. They are always smiling aswell. The animation team are fantastic. Very energetic the kids loved them Fatima and Rod were great at caring for and entertaining the kids and David had us laughing our socks off. The rooms are lovely and I hear the new rooms are incredible. I'm definitely hoping to return again soon. Thankyou galeón Playa!

Two adults and an 8 yr old girl, August 2018. Absolutely loved this place, first and foremost great staff, all of them, reception, house keeping and catering. We had a junior suite with balcony, nice large rooms, cleaned thoroughly daily. One lively pool area, one quieter one with a playground. Can only comment on the buffet breakfast, which was plentiful and fresh and will cover everyone’s tastes. Perfectly situated with shops (including mobility scooter hire), beaches and restaurants on the doorstep.

Currently staying at the Galeon Playa Costa Teguise in a sea view apartment on half board basis. The staff here are so helpful and friendly. Extremely clean everywhere. The breakfast choice is superb! There’s certainly so much choice nobody would ever go hungry. The beach/sea is very close and the area itself is so pretty and also feels safe. There’s nothing I can complain about at all. I will be booking here again for next year. Can’t wait.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The shopping complex is near enough. The beach is only minutes away… The rooms has all the basics, only there's no Air conditioning which is a bug bear when u trying to sleep at night. The pool side is clean and well maintained…

Just got back from staying here for a week stayed half board on a sea view room very good and spaceious room good balcony and good view of the sea a good choice of food for breakfast and dinner excellent pool just a shame of the towels on chairs not being used the hotel says the towels will be removed after 20 minutes but this does not happen so it gets very busy around the pool and hard to find a place to sit staff very friendly especially the guy behind the reception desk when checked in overall a very good holiday jet 2 let us down due to no rep for 2 days and needed to sort something out.

This was our 3rd summer holiday in a row staying at the Galeon Playa… we love everything about the Galeon Playa hence the return visits… our stay this year was spoiled as we and and a large number of other guests had to make a complaint against the Animation/Entertainment team manager (Lorena). For heading up a team which is employed to entertain guests both children and adults, Lorena has no people skills and to be frank is one of the unfriendliest and rudest people I have ever met! She was horrible to the children and adults alike, it got so bad that a number of children did not attend the kids club because of her! To our horror we witnessed Lorena screaming and shouting at her colleague Sonia, resulting in Sonia being left in tears in front of us! As a I say we are returning guests and Sonia was part of the animation team last year… she is a lovely, lovely girl and the kids adore her. She was a huge factor in us returning this year as our son and daughter we always asking after her and looking forward to going back to see her. We have returned home from our holiday and await a response to our complaint! : — (

Fantastic atmosphere, always friendly and attentive staff. Roims a delight and cleaned daily so well. The breakfasts have such a veriety. Amazing. An experience recomended.

Stayed here for a week with the rest of the family. Nice central location, close to everything with the beach right on the doorstep. Room we stayed in was a little dated and tired but they are currently updating the hotel and the updated ones look really good. Food was very nice although not a huge selection but always able to find something to eat. Entertainment was good fun although the club area is small. All in great value, great staff very clean all round.

All focused on the British Ordas. Kitchen is better. Spacious and clean rooms.

Staying at the galleon playa in the junior suites absolutely stunning and so spacious. The breakfasts have everything you could possibly think of even porridge also the staff can't do enough for you. I really can't recommend this hotel highly enough stayed in nearly all the hotels in Costa tequise this is by far one of the best.

Great hotel we came in march and the weather was fantastic not too hot but still around 22 each day. The hotel has a heated pool and isn't too busy this time of year. Not said this before but I'd really consider coming back next year.

Great place to stay as much on holiday as for work, the treatment is exquisite, the formidable facilities, several swimming pools, and sports court and games, bar with entertainment every night.
The only downside is cleanliness in the apartments, they just clean one day if and another not, and details like you don't get left a kitchen cloth or bag in the dustbin make you don't know the 5 stars.
It could also improve the Wi-Fi system, part of that goes wrong to the room, I have to go to reception every week to renew the key, if they know I will be more than a month, wouldn't it be easier to enable that key for the time of my stay?
To finish, there is always a cat that campaigns at its ease by the armchairs of the reception, I am allergic to cats, I try to go through that area as fast as possible and of course not to sit never in those armchairs.

It is very well located. The apartments are old but spacious. The pool is spacious with loungers area around. There are smaller pools for children, with a swing area. The staff is very friendly. The guys in the animation are very nice and Gaiska, the waiter at the Atlatic Bar is unique, we had a great fun with them. The motives of the 3 stars and for which we will not return, are: a smell of humidity in the hsbitacion disgusting, nor having all the day open. The noise of the cars of the hotel staff, which from 8 in the morning walks in the halls. That, being a hotel with mascot, the mascot only leaves one night for 20-30min, throughout the week. The heated pool is cold and is uncovered. There is no rent of towels.

We come to Galeon playa. Twice a year november to dec then jan to march great place to stay.

This brilliant 3 star hotel in Costa Teguise. Canary isles. Wish I could live here. Hotel 1 minute to beach. Great staff who will do anything to help.

Just back after staying for 2 weeks have to say place is top class. Staff all excellent. Kids team the best. And big g top bar man. Thx for making r stay wonderful. And we will definitely b back.

We were there in January 4 days. The hotel is good, you can always park your car if you go further to the dead end, right turn from the entrance. Wai fai took in the room, but here to join … The old system and the protection of Windows 10 did not want to perceive it. But the speed is great. The sun was almost gone, sunbathing on Playa Papagayo, in the south, take this into account. Nearby Hiper Dino, a pair and a bunch of cafes and restaurants for food lovers. There is a promenade, too.

We have been holidaying at the lovely Galeon Playa for 10 years. The Galeon is in the ideal location. We visit at least twice a year and are never dissappointed. The rooms are spacious, clean and value for money. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay special. Special thanks to Tania, Perla and Jacqueline. We are due to holiday in April and have booked for September.

Hotel was great for a family holiday, breakfast was really good and Victor in the hotel bar was amazing with his card tricks and kept us all entertained — would recommend staying here.

Value for money, fantastic kids club. Very clean great location and very friendly helpful staff It was our 3rd visit and WON'T be our last. Highly recommend.

Top of the range. The ATLANTIC bar is l9 more. Bartenders are people muyyyyyyy Maja. The perfect place.

Great central location near to shops, bars, restaurants and beaches. Lovely staff. Well equipped rooms, basic and a little worn but very clean with comfortable beds and the comfiest sofas I've come across in an apartment. Spoilt for me by screaming kids at ridiculously early times in the mornings, running up and down the corridors during the day and suitcases being wheeled about making it feel like you were trying to sleep in a railway station. The kid problem could be solved if the management put families together in some blocks and those without kids in others. The place is big enough to accommodate this. The visiting cat, Marvin, from the dive centre was a lovely added bonus. She loves Felix cat treats by the way.

Rooms very clean but basic. Public areas good and restaurant buffet excellent for breakfast. Only big down side is that the main pool is NOT heated and it is impossible to get in or out if you have a problem walking. No greecian type steps only metal ladder type steps to get into pool. Big disappointment.

Nice mid range hotel, very clean and well looked after. We had the Junior suite with b&b, food was good with a nice view of the bay in the morning.

Hotel room recently refurbished and in emaculate condition. Facilites in great condition. Breakfast has plenty options and very filling. Security is exemplary within the complex with the block I'm staying in having key card entry only. Pool facilities great, albeit enclosed. 4 separate pools. 2 large, 2 smaller.

First family holiday away with my young children. Absolutely loved the place. Very clean. Great entertainment for the children. Close to all amenities. Will definitely be booking to go back year.

I'd changed my mind on this score into the second week. My thinking originally was that I'd mark down because firstly the Pool Bar Cafe doesn't do a single thing that’s Gluten Free and secondly because the Mini Disco ended up going onto so late. Ie 10 o’clock However after a few days you get used to this. And the children’s entertainers are awesome so it’d really harsh to mark down for the Mini Disco. In fact all the staff where very friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of stuff to do for the kids in the complex. And to be fair to the pool bar the Coffee was pretty good.

GOOD: Friendly staff, do what they can but sometimes is not what is requested. Location of the complex between two beaches. Decoration of the public areas. Swimming pools, although share lifeguard even though they are not in the same room. The views from some rooms, not at all. Price.
WRONG: Too many rules and prohibitions. Disco, very noisy, under the building. Deposit, 20 euros for the remote control of the TV. Only operate channels analog, not have DTT. Payment all public Wi-Fi, and very expensive. Minimum flow of water at the taps. The shower curtains torn and detached. Towels with webbing. Lousy tub; rattan mat, mold on corners, oxide into the drain. Doors that will not close or do so with great difficulty. Lack of coordination of the personnel, we ask a dishcloth, appearing in inventory and they sent us a set of bed (? ).
Only be justified by the price.

Rather nice, a few things of damage like the internal activities proposed… which are not there but very good for the rest. Attention the area is extremely windy.

Fabulous! We booked for a week last year, we loved it so much we are returning for 11 nights this year. Amazing location, light airy apartments, and friendly attentive staff. Surrounded by beaches and sea. Close to restaurants, shops but in a quiet location. Fabulous!
