I definitely recommend this hotel — very beautiful, comfortable and spacious rooms — always cleaned. The staff is very professional and friendly. A restaurant that provides very delicious and varied meals! I will definitely come back! :)

Amazing site. With spectacular views.
The room is huge. Well maintained. Every detail is better than the last. The water in the fridge when we got a great detail.
The staff both cleaning and dining room spectacular. Super nice, friendly always attentive to every detail.
The pool amazing. The children's play area despite being adults we loved.
Cleaning of rooms correctisima. Although they do not clean every day but we did not need to clean everything every day. We understand that staff also have to deliver.
The dinners focused on themes a success. The breakfasts a bit repetitive but there was always everything. Very rich meals always.
As a downside to say that there is little parking area.
And that the descent to the beach is simple but the climb is deadly. Although we were told that by taxi it cost about 2.5 euros. So not too bad either.

Am here just now and its a fabulous hotel. Cannot fault it at all! christmas eve dinner was amazing and the staff worked very hard to make it very enjoyable. Food was amazing!

Greetings from Norway! We were a group of 12, the age of 11 to 70, that stayed at your hotel this week. We all had a really great time! Clean rooms, smiling, hardworking staff, very good food, really great shows (We love Jamie! ), EVERYTHING was just wonderful! Thank you all for a great stay! BINGO!

We paid for the junior suites and for 1st two nights got put in the older block. They didn't seem to care we had actually paid more for the room! The manager Manuel needs a few courses in customer service so unhelpful didn't seem to be bothered about the inconvenience caused to us for 2 days of our holidays … the food isn't good always cold and some strange concoctions! for being supposedly 4 star they need to purchase new towels and bedding as had holes in them. The entertainment ok if you love bingo! we certainly wont be going back.

Lovely hotel good fab, amazing views and taxi is cheap to go to the main shopping and entertainment. The entertainment wasn't our cup of tea bingo quiz I felt they wanted everyone in bed by 11. We went out every night. Hotel for older groups,. But fab if you want to chill.

Just came home from our 4th visit here, had another fabulous time. Stylish /comfy rooms. Friendly staff, great entertainment, lovely food, love everything about this hotel. Would definitely recommend 1 millions %. See you all next year ☀️

Our 2nd holiday here and it just gets better and better, all staff are amazing! I can't remember everyone's names who made a great impact on our time here but most of all Jamie and Vicky… Fab fab fab! In the restaurant Alba, Fredrico and the rest of the gang are amazing. Can't wait to return xx.

Great hotel, great food, comfortable room and very comfortable beds! friendly helpful staff great for all ages. Free Wi-Fi. Thanks Jamie and Victoria for the entertainment for all ages throughout the day and evening too. We didnt win on bingo but maybe next time.
We Definately recommend this hotel its on the hill fabulous views. For those like me who cant walk too far its still fantastic. Taxi to amadores beach 3.5 euro or to puerto rico centro for a bit of retail therapy 4.5 euro bargain.

Great place to just chill out, good entertainment but it’s finishes on Sunday until next season starts again in April.

Fantastic family friendly hotel with a hillside location. Superb views down to the very nice beach which is only a 15 minute walk away. Plenty for kids & adults alike to do.

Just got home after an incredible 11 nights at the Altamadores.
Firstly I would like to comment on how amazingly clean this hotel is, everywhere and everything is spotless.
Food is beautiful and fresh, the self serve bar was always fully stocked!
The staff are so friendly and constantly on the go!
Jamie made the entertainment, he was incredible! Really made everyone's holiday special. (Although I didn't get full marks on the Disney challenge which was the mission of the holiday)
Big thank you to all the staff for making our holiday!
We will be reccomending to family and friends and hope to come back in the future!

I loved this place, a beautiful stunning hotel right next to the elegant coast line of Gran Canaria, I loved it and can't wait to again next year!

We stayed here in April for 9 nights. We travelled as a family of 4.2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 4 (had birthday there). This was our second visit and was just as fabulous as we remembered and we will defo be back again. The food was brill as always plenty of choice and even for my fussy eater. Children were more than happy with the ice creams also during the day. There was also plenty of drinks selection too. The pool and pool area was spotless and they also had a life guard on daily. The splash area is good too just can get slippy. The fake grass around the pool is a excellent idea. The room was spotless and cleaned regularly also they have Orange towels for you to take by the pool and white towels for apartment if we needed new towels you just leave them on the bathroom floor and they were changed. The cleaners left a towel shaped elephant and a note wishing our daughter happy birthday which she loved. See you all next year.

I have a very mixed review on this hotel and holiday. The room for me has been great (apartment type) with plenty of space on two floors. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Poolise is great with enough loungers for everyone and no need to hustle for one in the morning as you do in most places. Drinks are served through the day in a help yourself set up which is fine with me and the staff all seem friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean but unfortunately some of the food is just luke warm to cool but I have found it thoroughly cooked all the same. Having stayed in quite a few all in hotels I find/found the choice in food very limited although you can still find something to eat at least. Finally my other disappointment, the entertainment, there is none in the evening other than bingo. We would usually bring our 5 year old son with us on a break but he would have been so bored at night, during the day he would have had fun at the pool but night he would have been bored, I know we were. Overall I find this hotel a mixed bag and average, if there was more food to choose from and it was hotter that would help and if the entertainment improved especially at night then I think with the clean spacious rooms and the no hustle bustle for a poolside lounge chair than this would be almost the perfect hotel.

Really lovely holiday … all inclusive facilities are out standing, cleanliness is fantastic, food there is alwaya something u will eat (and im a fussy eater). the only let down for me and hence why r stars instead of 5 is the pool. The kids pool is ok quite small when a few kids are playing, but the main and only pool is all ome depth, I am 5ft 2 tall and I have to go on my tip toes. U cant enjoy time with ya kids playing etc … if ya tall ya ok … I just feel it could have been made a fre inches shallower. the blonde life guard is fab. What a dedicated lady. woukd I come bk here …? mosy defo r.

Nice hotel, lovely big spacious rooms. Only issues we had were that the food was nothing special and there was no real entertainment team — Jamie was good but there was no animation team to speak of.

Absolutely fabulous. Can't fault the entire holiday. All the staff are extremely friendly and can't do enough to ensure your stay at the hotel is the best it can be. Food always varied and to a high standard. Hotel is clean and tidy and all times. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing enjoyable family holiday. Suitable for all ages. The fake grass around the pool area is a massive bonus when children are running around playing. Can't wait to return next year.

Hotel lovely and clean. Food good, but could do with being hotter. Staff very friendly. Not the best location, if you like a good hike, this is the place to stay.

Best Hotel on the island, visited for Christmas and they have everything going for all your needs. Amazing staff, the lifeguard is on the ball and she really cares about keeping everyone safe at her pool. We love this place and back in May with more of our family. Cannot wait.

Hotel staff all friendly. Rooms are clean. The only down side is the position of the hotel. The hill is a killer to get to the beach especially in the heat.

The hotel is very good, the penalty q do not have a bus to go down to the beach, the shows would have Q enable them somewhere else is very bad q you want to have dinner and no table there are many foreigners Q go very soon and no longer get up, very ordinary food. The location of the hotel is very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Hotel very good, but food is English not regional, and no entertainment for kids just for adults.

The most friendly place that I have been to.
Nothing is to much trouble for staff to make sure that you have a great time.

Having just spent 10 days in the Altamadores all I can say is wow we did read some of the reviews before leaving and was a little alarmed at some of the negative ones but having just arrived back home yesterday 22-08-2017 I can whole heartedly say we have had the best holiday ever and will be booking up right away for next year, on arrival which was about 9.

Great if you have small or teenage children. Great choice of food. I would definitely go back again.

This is not a 4 star hotel for food it's only average and be prepared to share your meal with a round of two of bingo that said the room facilities, pool and private sun bathing area which we have are excellent pity they scrimped on the restaraunt our rating 3 star plus.

Nice moderate hotel. The view is outstanding. There are only a few rooms that doesn't have a view of the ocean. Nice pool area with one larger pool and small pool for the kids. Some of the staff is nice, others are quiet ignorant. The food is ok, nothing special. A small gym is available almost the entire day, and a small football court.

Stayed Aug 2016. Rooms were very clean and tidy, food was served/topped up regularly during meal times so always fresh. Good entertainment not that much for kids. Sun shines above all day long. Being on hill meant walk to beach and back not easy but it didn't bother me (€3-€4 in a taxi each way so not expensive if you prefer not to walk). Lovely place to go on holiday.

Excellent lay out, very child/family friendly. Attention paid to meals, not piled high but served more frequent in smaller amounts, can't fault the bar, it's self service with good beers wines spirits. Rooms cleaned daily and very spacious with your own patio. Overall can't fault it, oh and the view of the beach is perfect to wake up to every morning, can't wait to go back. Very cheap to get a taxi to all local towns.

Friendly place nice located on the hill above the Amadores beach. A perfect place to stay with friends and/or children.
