We booked this hotel on Priceline for our current European trip. The location is awesome: close to shopping, tons of restaurants, and plazas with great nightlife. The lobby is small but clean, with a nice courtyard and seating areas. You'll notice that nice smell from scented candles that greets you when you walk in, which is a very nice touch. We were upgraded to a superior room when we checked in, which increased our room size by 50%, which if you know the sizes of European hotels, was a huge bonus. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom which had both a walk-in shower and a tub. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was clean, although the towels were old. The room was quiet which is nice, especially after a long day in the city that can be noisy and very busy. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially after we accidentally tripped the circuit breakers using our electric adapter. The breakfast was not included, but it didn't matter since there is a nice pastry and coffee shop right across the street. Overall a very enjoyable stay, probably our best hotel stay during our trip so far.

A lovely hotel although. I was in one of the older rooms that haven't had a refurb but it was good. Location ok and plenty if bars and restaurants around. Rooms were clean and house keeping was good. Did not sample the food so I cannot comment. Overall good value for the price despite the building work next door that starts at 7am!

Hotel with a lot of charm, and located in the center of Madrid in a historical building. Good breakfast.

Clean and comfy hotel in the city centre. Very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet filled with local food as well as usual stuff of continental breakfast.

Very central Hotel. Close to Tirso de Molina metro stop. The rooms are very spacious and nice. All very well.

Good Hotel, very central and reasonable price. Near Atocha station in case you come by train. The room agreed to its four stars by the recently reformed smell. We were offered an upgrade with price increase if we preferred room to the outside. Ours faced an inner courtyard but nice so we did not change. We did not hire the breakfast because it seems to me, not in this one, in all an outrageous charge 20 or €16 for a breakfast. In the surroundings there are multiple places for breakfast very well and varied 2 people for much less than 20 €/person. The hotel has a staircase of access to the different plants very nice and with one of the offspring of the Lions of the Cortes. To finish, hotel recommended if you want to stay in the downtown area.

We stay the week from December 27th to January 3rd, I do not regret having chosen this hotel for our holiday, the staff is very friendly, the location is a success as you are minutes from the center, that gives you the possibility to walk, they have a beauty salon practically next door, a very famous theatre in the corner and two places where breakfast on the sidewalk of the front if you do not choose to have breakfast in the hotel, we in particular only used the hotel to sleep as we went out every day Very early for the tours and we arrived well into the night, in the winter do not light the air conditioning units and has its logic, actually there is very cold but the fourth Ermeticamente closed there is a moment in the morning where you feel a bit of Heat, try to open the window one night but as it gave to the street Atocha the noise would not let me sleep so I closed it, what was the solution that I found? Before leaving in the morning left the window open all day and so the room was kept cold for when we were able to sleep more comfortable, is a tip that I turned out, for everything else I recommend this hotel with eyes closed, will be where I stay in the next visits to Madrid…

Full-centre hotel in a historic place.

Very nice hotel with excellent location.
I have stayed twice a year apart. On this last occasion I have seen failures: the room was cold and the heating was barely noticeable, despite being to the maximum, the mattress of the extra bed had no cover and the sheet would go down in direct contact with the mattress. The cleanliness was not as careful as we saw last year when we also slojamos in this hotel. All this makes the comfortability not the same for which we had repeated hotel.
I hope you mejiren these aspects because the hotel deserves it.

Very nice hotel, as centrally located as possible. Very nice staff and helpful. Nice free drink (coffee, tea, juice) at happy hour. Nice beds. Overall recommend.

Had a great stay. Room was perfectly fine and service was excellent. More than happy to provide directions, instructions, and recommendations. Hotel is in a great part of town also. No complaints here.

Excellent hotel. Very clean, staff were extremely friendly and so helpful. The bar was amazing. My room was so large with ex air conditioning. Great location. City centre. Everywhere within walking distance. I'll definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, great location and friendly staff.

This hotel is quite surprising. Gates, Parque floors, beautiful wooden stairs. We did not eat in the restaurant, so I can't evaluate the food here. We live in a smaller suite on the third floor. Suites have a small living room, with sofas and TV, there is a large bathroom with a shower, a very large bedroom, with one big bed. My only criticism of this is that the bathroom no tub, but the bathroom there are a lot of places to accommodate television.
