The staff was friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms left a bit to be desired and my husband and I got a "double bed", which means you don't actually get to sleep next to one another, which was dissapointing.

If I had to value the first room I was offered, I would have put them a star (because you can't wear any). I was sent to a room on the second floor (I think it was the 219), whose only window overlooked a minimal patio, almost without light, small, … it was a real cave. I went down to the front desk to ask them to change me and in the end they did a room that overlooked the back facade and that was much better. Still, for a 4 star, a little fair.

It is a decent hotel that is well located. I would consider this a three star hotel. The rooms are small but clean. The air-conditioning could be better though. The staff and house cleaning are friendly and competent. It is VERY close to the Prado, Reina Sofia, Plaza Mayor and Palacio Real.

Location, perfect for the centre of Madrid or Atocha. Affordable Price to spend a night of travel connection in Madrid. However, the hotel is somewhat old, although the lower part is somewhat more cared for, its rooms are outdated. For your quality and price, you can find other options in Madrid. Breakfasts, arriving at the end but with 1 hour to finish, have some things unreplenished. Not the best hotels in the chain and it's a shame because They are usually very good.

It is 4 star Hotel is beautiful The spacious room good design splendid bed. Good breakfast. Excellent attention. Absolutely recommended. It has details to renovate like the carpet in the hallways but not annoying as the room is parquet.

Very nice and quaint hotel. We enjoyed the location and how easily accessible the restaurants and shopping was. We walked down to the hop on hop off bus and did a lot of sightseeing.

Good value for money hotel. Great location. Lobby is much nicer and more stylish than the rooms. Their towels are huge. Staff is helpful and friendly. Bed was ok and good size. Shower/bath was clean and had a glass door (I hate the curtain baths). There's a minifridge you can use. We didn't have a kettle. Our air conditioning wasn't working well. They have a wooden baby crib if you need. Recommended as budget accommodations.

Old and small room without charm. But nice staff and good breakfast.

Unpleasant getting married from the street and not having the comfort of the air conditioning… The worst thing is that they send you to open the windows of the room to refresh you with the breeze of the spring… Imagine the hustle and bustle of Atocha Street entering through the slit. When you ask to put the air, they tell you that it has schedules and when you ask to be fixed, they tell you that is OK. Of terror!

Excellent. Good location, good helpful. Normal rooms but with all the amenities. You can leave your bags after leaving the room. It's huge.

Rooms had super hot air condition, unable to have regular room temperature. Beds very small and I were unlucky to have a room on 1st floor facing the trafficked road in front. Very clean though.

Well in general. Excellent location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Still, during or stay, the problems were several: plugs that did not work, cupcakes expired at breakfast and very hot in the room despite the climate control.

Good strategical location and decent price for the product. Located 2 steps away from a Subway entrance and within walking distance of most attractions it's a great place to stay for visiting Madrid. Some rooms may feel a little small but it's functional. Note there's no coffee or tea inside the rooms. TV was recent but tiny bit small and difficult to access the HDMI ports although it was possible with a little trick. Good products furnished such as comb and toothbrush. Soap in dispensers. I found the breakfast very good and particularly loved the Nespresso machine. Big improvement compared to the crappy coffee usually served at breakfast in most hotels. When I came back a few hours after checking in, a little bottle of red wine, a glass and a platter of cheese and ham had appeared in my room. Not sure if this is due to being Meliá rewards Gold or not.

Good hotel. The meeting rooms are very nice and well catered for. The rooms are not spectacular but they are clean and don very comfortable. The bed is firm and very nice with pretty soft sheets.

Hotel that stole the stars, it deserves at Max two. Attention they charge in advance as a hotel at hours of once.

Logically it is a hotel that is in a great situation and very good communication. The hotel has years and it shows. The breakfast is very good and the attention is excellent.

Fantastic hotel to spend a weekend in Madrid or a few days of vacation. The location is very good, close to Atocha station and the charm of the district of the letters. It is very welcoming and the staff very attentive and helpful. I recommend it.

The Hotel is located in the Center of Madrid at a main road and next to a Metro station. So reaching it and going to the city centre is quite easy. The personnel is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is ok but nothing special. I paid 162€ per night during the week. I got a little room with a tiny window.

Great hotel located between Plaza Mayor and Atocha station ideal for visiting all the attractions of the Spanish capital, a stone's throw from all the major museums. Clean hotel, great service, although the facilities seem a little dated. Cemere not always economical. Breakfast is great and plentiful.

Warm welcome from staff. Very helpful as our Spanish is terrible. Cold water served by the front desk. Nice size room with a good bathroom. Lots of selection for breakfast and I enjoyed everything I tried. The location of the hotel is great and not far to walk to the train station or the Plazas.

While I was initially skeptical to rating this hotel as 5 stars, the mix of breakfast, nice clean rooms, and nice staff comprised me to rate this facility very nicely.

Staff is friendly, location is excellent. Train station, many good eating spots and central park are all nearby. Metro station is right outside hotel entrance. Rooms have typical automation requiring room key to power everything. Hotel has AC.

Location was perfect from the metro and bus. Also, the taxi only cost € 30, 00 to go from the airport to the hotel. Our room is very spacious and the breakfast that came with our room was good! I wish we were greeted better at the counter when checking in, but it was 2am. Wasn't really bad just silence and here is you room and when breakfast was served. I would give a 4.9 rating since checking in set the mood for our short stay. So far the staff have been quite pleasant!

The hotel is very well located, you have a Ⓜ metro station literally in front of the exit door.
In addition, the prices are very well to be a hotel of four stars ✨.
What don't I like both is the treatment of reception, are somewhat serious.
However, the other employees, doormen, personal of cleaning are very very nice.
The hotel is clean, unpolluted. Some rooms are a little small, but for that price in full heart ♥ of Madrid, no matter.

Hotel grande, somewhat old but be careful. Some better than others and with a distribution and somewhat peculiar access rooms. Perhaps with some areas more noisy that others and heating in some rooms is louder of what should (also the walking habit, I suppose). Staff very friendly. Location good for getting around the city.

Ideal location, halfway between the Atocha and Sol. The rooms are clean and of generous size. The breakfast buffet, very complete. The service is friendly and attentive.

There is no host, no maintenance!
You calls the front desk for a service he says he'll remember so you can wait for hours without response! The hair dryer doesn't work and no one comes to change it!
You have two menus to deliver in the room but the restaurant is closed… Too disappointed.

Located in Paseo del Prado with the plaza de Carlos V, offers the visitor a choice of quality to stay in the Centre of Madrid and very close to Madrid's Atocha station. Very good to hold events in their classrooms and close to the nightlife to have beside the Sala Kapital and the neighborhood of Huertas. Highly recommended.

Their facilities are very good as are their prices if they are in good seasons it is a very cozy and if you decide to visit the historical center and old madrid is a very good point for the reference of all these sites to visit I recommend it in espacadas of summer and spring.

It is not bad, although in July the air conditioning not pulling a lot and pretty hot. The breakfast was spectacular to be normal rooms and dinner open buffet much fried and drink not included, reception sometimes regular but good not bad, hotel very central.
