Awesome hotel with very low cost and good quality food.

Great fun and location.

Had a reservation for 19, spain in quarantine, booking, and offers me to cancel free of charge and they are going to stay with my Silver, without having been there for force majeure, it seems to me that they have to review the situation, always answered, yesterday when you explain them that they should not charge you never received the response.

This hostel is great, very clean and spacious. The people were very friendly and helpful. And the free breakfast and dinner were good! We loved the happy hour and bar crawl too — amazing experience!

This hostel is everything they advertise themselves as. This was a top notch party hostel. It's in the heart of the gothic quarter, so lots and lots of bars around. There is also a rooftop bar which looks over the square. The bed had a curtain so you could have your own space and I had my own small light and usb port. You also get a locker which has an outlet inside of it. Everyone working there was super nice and helpful with recommendations.

Firstly, the location is absolutely phenomenal. It's the definition of prime real estate If you are willing to put up with the noise (which you should be since this is a 'party hostel' after all). Although the lockers were of a good size, travellers are expected to charge their phones INSIDE the lockers which is a major inconvenience. This was made worse by the fact that some adaptors do not work properly inside the lockers therefore one has to ask the reception constantly to charge ones phone. Although the reception were nice about this, It's not an ideal situation. Secondly, for a party hostel, the nights out are 'QUITE GOOD' but not phenomenal. Each night can get repetitive with the same pub crawls etc a bit of creativity in terms of a compelling, unique night out would be fantastic. The free dinners were not to a high standard (but then again it is free so one can't really complain). The staff are generally fine, but one gentleman upstairs at the rooftop is very pushy in terms of getting you to follow the hostel on social media otherwise he won't give you your free 'diluted' alcoholic drink :D I'm not going to be too harsh on him because I'm sure it's his hostel policy and he deals with drunks day in/day out, but I am an experienced adventure traveller and I have seen it all — brighten up a little buddy! This is a great hostel for young (19-24ish) party goers but for experienced veterans you will get bored after a while.

The Hostel is in the primary location and the amount of help in planning and ensuring your stay is well worth it. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure guest are satisfied. Shout out Andrei (hotel staff and awesome tour guide) for being engaging and energetic! His efforts to ensure guest had a good time was great.

The sleepiest nights of my life. Uncomfortable beds (not mattresses but simple toppers of a few cm) and air conditioning not working. Imagine 24 people in the summer locked in a room without air conditioning. Nightmare. In all this from the reception they did nothing to intervene because they said there was no technician. Too bad because the location in the square is very good.

Not much of a party hostel to be honest. Little to no sense of community and talkative atmosphere. The rooms were quite small but the beds were fine, with decent air conditioning. The showers were quite dirty at times and it seemed that they weren't maintained well. The safes in the rooms were very large which was convenient to store a whole suitcase in, with a key card system. The hostel offers free dinner which was plain to say the least, as well as breakfast which on the other hand, was quite good. Since the world cup was going on, they had plenty of screen to watch the games on. My group was situated on the top floor which was a nightmare to get to sometimes, with a noisy bar being rather disadvantageous when we needed to sleep. The walking yours from the hostel are good however.

I had a great time here! Met people from all over the world and partied every night we stayed here. The free dinner and breakfast are ok but the drinks at the bar are super cheap! The bar crawl is a great way to tour the night scene in Barcelona. Definitely go here if you want to party. Definitely use the free ear plugs.

First problem was at check in when my friend and I were told that we would be in separate rooms when we booked the stay under one reservation. The staff at reception insisted that it was our fault even though our booking confirmation said otherwise and said that there was nothing she could do in a rude manner. After giving us a hard time, she finally got another staff member to correct their mistake, but still treated us as an inconvenience to her. When we got to the room, the outlets were no where near the beds and did not work at all, so we had no way to charge our devices overnight. However we found out that the plugs in the *24 hour* lobby did work, so on our last night we decided to charge them there before leaving the next morning. The security guard rudely demanded that we had to leave and when we attempted to explain the problem to the night receptionist, all he had to say was “good night” over and over again while motioning us off with his hand. I could understand if we were loud and drunk however we were completely silent and sober and was completely shocked at how they treated us. I’ve stayed here before and had similar issues and would not recommend this place due to the way the staff treats their customers.

It was clean, the rooms are not spacious. The free supper is bland and has little to, no meat in it. The common areas are not open most of the time. The three days I was there the terrace was closed early every day the reception was roped off after 4:00 am. In my mind if you stay in a party hostel there should be a common area available at all times. The staff were not friendly, they all had attitude toward guests. The breakfast is two cereals, instant coffee, muffins, baguettes, cold cut ham, processed cheese and tea.

Of. The best. Every day is a party. Very central. Broad. Good bathrooms. Sure. Everything I loved about this hostel.

In a very nice Hostel, super. Comodo, the only thing I did not like was the people who receive you have a lot of bad vibe the others are 20 points.

It is good but if it is your first time to stay in a hostel, this may not he for you yet. I like that they have a lot of social activities and they provide free breakfast. Location is also good.

It looked more glamourous in the photos than it is in reallity. If you are interested in taking full advantage in what the city has to offer and you only need a place to crash, this is your best option. It has the minimum requirements, and also promotes the involvement of its guests.

Very good place, although the room I was in was 22 people, nor was it noticed! All very respectful of the rest! The hostel itself is very nice set, it is clean, the staff a love! Tenes Happy hour, breakfast included and even free dinner! A Golazo!

The mixed rooms are hyper Chiquitas, we were 3 girls in a room of 4 and just entered stops the beds were incomfortable, instead in another stay the female room was much wider, the beds of better quality, there was more privacy and Q had Curtain. Keep in mind Q is a party hostel and therefore is warned Q there is a lot of noise at night. Is great located, if you are at 22:30 in the hostel you go free dinner to the Q stay there.

Wow what an experience! I feel honored and blessed to have stayed at Kabul. Probably the best hostel in town! They help me change my reservation when I booked it for the wrong day, let me shower before check in and after check out and they have the greatest pub crawl in town. The rooms are awesome with a great view of the square. The bathrooms are always clean! The bar is kickin and did I mention the pub crawls? Kate at the front desk is a beautiful caring soul who is always around to answer questions and give advice. Dani and Alejandro literally changed my life and opened doors for me. These 3 made my visit! If you choose any other hostel while in Barcelona you are making a bad choice.

Very funny here, colourful roommates, beds are quite good, prices are also fine.

Overall good location and atmosphere. However, BEWARE of poor upper management & Faulty Outlets! — — there was an issue with the wall USB in my bed and it cause my cellphone to malfunction by overheating and destroying the battery. So (unaware of the actual problem at the time) the next day I bought a new phone, and the same thing happened. The staff at the desk were very sympathetic and advised me to contact management in order to be compensated. But after weeks of communicating with management they refused to claim responsibility (as their technical investigation came up with no errors) and they refused to provide me any form of compensation for the two cellphones I had to replace. Very disappointing and frustrated as the company has effectively treated as though I was making up a story; not only was this a large waste of money, it also put a bit of a damper on my stay.

Clean bathrooms and showers, the area however very cozy and the breakfast well stocked.

Spectacular breakfast, the free dinner comes well, very good the events they organize. Very clean and the staff very helpful. With nothing Q criticize. They give you a beer every day.

BED BUGS! we found bugs in our beds and still didnt get refunded our money.

Literally it's a party place. Good social environment. You meet many people from all around the world. Amazing location. Just some rooms are a little packed. Too many beds in small rooms.

Beautiful hostel! If you want to sleep … Impossible!

Great hostel location, lots of youthful and party atmosphere. That said, if you are looking to come and sleep well, this is not the place! The rooms are good, large lockers, simple breakfast. It has a bar that offers happy hour, different programs and activities every night (e. G. Pub crawl), free internet and luggage storage.

The rooms are very nice, with space for privacy thanks to the curtains. The mattresses are comfortable and the lockers are spacious and there is no need to carry padlock thanks to the electronic card system. It is very well located, close to places to go out and eat, as well as to make on foot almost the entire tourist circuit. They give a beer for the day at 18. Breakfast is regular. Dinners are a help for those who are on a low budget but are not elaborate. Undoubtedly the worst thing about the hostel is the absence of a comfortable space to be in the common space, there is no armchair and the wooden benches are quite uncomfortable.

They serve free dinner! (and free beer between some hours! ) That's what probably makes this place spectacular. Rooms are OK. Bathroom is not bad. Location is great! I'd totally recommend it.

Well but in this hostel there are no rooms with private bathroom, for everything else well.

This hostel is great! Awesome people and some good fun. Free dinner at 8.30. Free breakfast from 8 to 10, but I was never up in time for that. Best thing about the hostel is the bartender, Ángel. He really made me feel welcome there. Awesome dude. The staff in general was very nice and friendly. The Brazilian girl was really kind, too, and beautiful… They have a good happy hour and the location is great. One cleaning lady was complaning about all of us still being asleep at 12.30, but maybe she just didn't know it's a party hostel. Not a big deal though. Also there are curtains on the bed in case you want privacy. Excellent place to meet people, too. Just walk up to anyone and start chatting and you'll be well received. Enjoy!

This hostel is amazing! It books up super far in advance so I’d recommend booking as soon as possible. It’s a great location, the rooftop bar is amazing. They also offer free breakfast and dinner! Super great place to stay if you’re looking to make friends.

Hostel is intended for young people top is indeed advertised as a party hostel. But unfortunately the bathrooms are not really very clean and the rooms very cramped and very warm. And the breakfast is unfortunately not great in the selection…
The location is very good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. According to the motto first comes served first. Drinks are cheap. And the Walking free tour with Pablo is world class. Very informative and funny.

Very nice hostel. The breakfast is simple but good. The rooms are excellent, the bathrooms are clean and the service has no equal. The game room is very nice. The hostel is in the centre of the gothic neighbourhood, so you can easily walk around, go to the beach and walk.

The place has great location, the people are the best there is, the beds super comfortable and free beer.

Great place great people perfect localization if you travel to smoke pot you have one of best weed clubs about 50m from the place. The only down side is they close terrace at 8:30 seems bit early to go sleep. Other than that I loved the staff and the place made many friends. Free beer every day at 18:30 is a great ice breaker. Next time im in Barcelona I defo will be booking here.

Superb hostel BN geo localization.

The rooms are small and a strong smell of musty and old socks is present… Not great for a good night's sleep, plus room mates who snoring and sleep all day long. In spite of that the organized evenings are top, breakfast and free dinner!

Had the best time here. Really a party hostel so don't expect to sleep that well, but worth all the sleepless nights meeting new people, drinking, and partying + seeing Barcelona all together. The location was very central, easy to get to — it was in the heart of La Ramblas. Amazing vibe, and yet very clean. The B1G1 sangrias will also get you drunk + free dinners aren't bad. Would totally stay here again given the chance!

Pure Party Hostel and less suitable for sleeping.

Very bad conditions, rooms and lockers are tiny, and I wouldn't say the hostel was very clean. Don't fall for the dinner included in the price, cause it's the cheapest, nastiest stuff you can buy from the supermarket (canned beans in tomato sauce). The location is great tho, and you get to paaaartyyy (who needs sleep right? )

You can find yourself in an exclusively male dormitory if, at the reservation, you forget to specify that you are a woman…
When you arrive at the reception you will be presented with a charter which specifies that it is a festive establishment. So forget now that you can rest a little because it will not happen! The bass of the music will make the hostel resonate all night long.
We will give you plugs balls as well as a sheet for you to make your bed while this one will still have the sheets used by the previous person.
And maybe if you take a moment out of the room, you'll have the surprise of finding someone else's things on the bed you did, as well as dirty boxers on your suitcase.
No ventilation, smell worse than in public transport at peak times.

It was a very nice place. A 22 shared bedrooms which was little bit noisy but still acceptable. The only thing that I didn't like is that the electricity plugs are inside of the lockers. The reception/bar area was great.

In the evenings, the surroundings are extremely glaucous. If the place itself is accessible only to the customers, the inconveniences of the surrounding area remain. The beds are of lesser quality. On the other hand, if you do not sleep and your requirements are low, do not hesitate.

Also I was not staying there I came to meet a friend. I would return since they have a decent happy hour upstairs and non-staying people can come. Very odd set up as you must purchase drinks from my machine.

My review is more like a 3.5 — Although I didn't stay long (15-20 minutes) I give them 4 stars because I was able to get a refund after seeing someone check who said he was bitten badly by bedbugs. The place may be clean but the building overall is probably infested. Be careful, but have fun!

Where to start, about this atrocious experience!
Firstly the elevator doesn't work, so expect to carry your language up their very narrow stair case. Luckily some boys were nice enough to help us out, however, they weren't Kabul employees.
Moving on to the second issue at this hostel, the staff. Rude, arrogant, grumpy and very, very unhelpful. When we eventually decided to leave (didn't ask or expect a refund), rather then be sorry to see us go or ask what was wrong, these young male employees were rude and tried to cause an argument. As two young girls, we found this experience very intimidating.
As to why we left, for starters we didn't feel safe in our rooms, after requesting and booking a female dorm, we were given a mixed dorm, as Kabul were obviously over booked and couldn't accommodate to all of their paying customers requests. A heads up would have been nice!
Also don't expect anything close to clean! It smelt so bad and, they have bed bugs, need I say more.
If you do plan on staying here, I advise bringing you're own sheets, blankets and pillows!
Only good thing I can say about Kabul party hostel is… their cooling system works!
Two hours, in what felt like a jail cell, was enough for us!

Great location. Kabul Hostel has free breakfast and great prices on drinks at nighttime. Staff could be more friendly, but are certainly helpful. My favourite part about the rooms was that there was a safe with a key card. It was a high-tech way to lock your things up to make sure they don't get stolen. The beds also have charging outlets, which was extemely helpful. The curtains could be pulled, which afforded you some privacy in 30-person dorms. Great hostel! It would be helpful if you could purchase a communal fridge. The one in the back room is locked and you're unable to get here without permission.

They have free breakfast AND DINNER. I have never been to a hostel that has free dinner. It was the same on all the three days though… The hostel is noisy which is fine as they make it quite clear that it is a party hostel so if you go in expecting anything else, that's on you. The only thing I absolutely hated was that there were no plug points in the bunk beds to charge phones etc. The charge points are all in the lockers so if you want to charge your phone you have to place it in the locker or head downstairs to the bar to charge them. I understand this is done for our own security but it was kind of a nuisance for me personally. We depend on our phones quite a lot, so leaving it in a locker for an hour just to charge them was not feasible for me. Leaving them overnight in the locker far away from my bunk, again wasn't good for me as I need the alarm on my phone to wake up in the morning. Apart from this, overall experience was brilliant. Do go for the walking tours and the pub crawls!

The best hostel in the world. Such amazing staff this is more than a hostel but a 5 star place to meet people from all walks of life. Boldi good receptionist. Chris awesome cooking barman. I recommend highly to come here.

Definitely stay here if you are looking to party. I checked in after midnight and when I walked in the music was pumping and drinks were flowing. I felt like I had stepped into a dorm party. The rooms had individual lockers which were a pain to open and lock. Also the outlets were in the locker which was awkward.

The rooms are decently sized, exactly what I expected from a hostel. Lockers (with electronic locks) are provided, and cleaners do the laundry every day. The location is brilliant, right in the plaza reial, with a beautiful view of the plaza from the room I stayed in. Free breakfast and dinner included. (Cereal/Bread & Pasta respectively) Very enjoyable stay, will definitely stay again next time I'm in Barcelona.

The good thing about the hostel is in the Centre, at the Royal plaza. It bad is that if the room gives to the square, of night is becomes slightly annoying for sleep by the noise that comes of it square, since is full of people that goes to dinner to them remains or to them different pubs that there are. The breakfast is Basic. Wi-Fi does not reach good rooms.

Simple but with everything you need. Rooms are small but the lockers are very good and have a place to store the bag. The bathrooms are large. Very good showers. Very good attention from the staff. Average breakfast. Excellent central location. Party. 2x1 beer!

Clean, modest and secure Hostel right in the heart of things and just a moment's walk from Le Ramblas. Staff were friendly and the rates were good.

The rooms at Kabul are EXTREMELY small and the lights don't illuminate the entire room. There are no plugs in the walls, each person just gets 1 plug inside their locker for phone charging. The breakfast is very very basic. Overall, if you're not used to hostels I wouldn't choose Kabul — it's way too crammed and dark for a dorm room. Other than that, the people are very friendly and it's situated right on La Rambla — you really can't get a better location.

I spent 10 days in room for 4, and spent it very well! Excellent ubicacuon, and good vibes.

I had a blast here but would never stay for more than 2 — 3 nights. Travellers should divvy up their time between a fun (not so clean nor new) party hostel and somewhere to relax and explore the city.

Good for partying not sleeping. We did have fun, but only stayed one night. The music downstairs doesn't stop until 4am so the walls are bumping and most patrons are not sleeping until 4-5am so ppl are constantly coming in and out. If you want to have a goodnight and party and crash in the morning it's great for that. The people in square was the the loudest during the night so don't expect sleep if you come here until early morning. Oh and the Landry dryers suck, so don't waste your time. You'll put a ton of money into it and never get dry clothes hours later.

Great hostel to meet people. They go out every night and get you to the best clubs in town.

Pros best for partying. cheap beer on the main street of barcelona cons unhygienic rooms and wash rooms. rooms are bit old. rooms are noisy bcoz of party on the first floor. area around where hostel is situated is very expensive all in all its a good hostel if u are specially coming to barcelona to partying.

The only hostel I checked out early. And I have stayed in hostels where the other guests in my room were homeless people and alcoholics housed by the local government in hostels. Staff were depressed and arguing with each other. One girl looked like she was about to cry after being asked a question by her co worker. Rooms have nowhere to charge your phone. Bar always closed. You can hear everyone on your floor through the walls. You have to pay for water (only hostel I have seen this). Location isn't that great either because every hostel in this area of Barcelona is located somewhere stunningly beautiful. Yeah it's 'famous' like McDonalds is 'famous' for its food. If your going on the low season try every hostel besides this one. I can't even imaging how bad this place must be in the summer.

Very convenient because it is right on a main square, close to the sea and near, even right on the rambla! just get off that find restaurants pubs and clubs. The climate inside the hostal is very youthful.
Offer a breakfast with nothing to drink, even water!
We got a a midnight and the part where table football and pool was closed and it's a little strange considering that should be fun.

The absolute worst experience in my life in a hostel. The parties they promote are LAME TOURIST TRAPS. Esp razzmatazz. Do not go. Beware of bed bugs. The guy on the bunk next to me had gotten it and they 'changed' his sheets. For three days he was stuck there and his skin broke out terribly — they refused to refund him! or ANY compensation! DISGUSTING. Poorly run place, dirty, disgusting, loud, noisy, smelly, no rules about anything, cheap "breakfast and dinner". No power outlets in your room and Wi-Fi is so slow you may as well not even have. It's in a very good location but never ever going to recommend this place. Do not go if you want to relax, get sleep in a clean bed, and use clean bathrooms.

A nice hostel located in a good area of Barcelona. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are small, but have electronic lockers which is handy. Free Wi-Fi, which makes it convenient for tourists. The one downside is that there are no power outlets in the rooms, so you need to charge your devices either at reception or in the main area. The drinks at the bar are cheap, but they use an interesting payment system, where you buy vouchers from a machine.

This hostel is idealy located, in the very center town. But the room was HORRIBLE. People chating all night long, even puking for one. Crisps all over the floor, people smoking in the room, drinking. What a night! Althought the staff was nice and friendly.

Stole me $ 200 from my backpack which was stowed in a locker! It did not charge at all and I was treated as if it had wanted to defraud them. Travel all over Europe and this was the worst hostel where I was. I do not recommend it unless you want to be stolen.

Located in an unbeatable location to explore the city. This hostel is open 24 hours and there is no problem with the age or the duration of the stay. Among the services included this breakfast and free Wi-Fi for 20 minutes. The enclosure has laundry facilities, it provides, machines vending, solarium, pool tables and table football. This hostel has no single or double rooms. The minimum is of 4 people up to 20 people. There are no rooms has private bathroom but has common restrooms on each floor. In addition it is necessary that you bring your sheets or you can rent them for a small amount.
