Review of Kabul Party Hostel Barcelona

Firstly, the location is absolutely phenomenal. It's the definition of prime real estate If you are willing to put up with the noise (which you should be since this is a 'party hostel' after all). Although the lockers were of a good size, travellers are expected to charge their phones INSIDE the lockers which is a major inconvenience. This was made worse by the fact that some adaptors do not work properly inside the lockers therefore one has to ask the reception constantly to charge ones phone. Although the reception were nice about this, It's not an ideal situation. Secondly, for a party hostel, the nights out are 'QUITE GOOD' but not phenomenal. Each night can get repetitive with the same pub crawls etc a bit of creativity in terms of a compelling, unique night out would be fantastic. The free dinners were not to a high standard (but then again it is free so one can't really complain). The staff are generally fine, but one gentleman upstairs at the rooftop is very pushy in terms of getting you to follow the hostel on social media otherwise he won't give you your free 'diluted' alcoholic drink :D I'm not going to be too harsh on him because I'm sure it's his hostel policy and he deals with drunks day in/day out, but I am an experienced adventure traveller and I have seen it all — brighten up a little buddy! This is a great hostel for young (19-24ish) party goers but for experienced veterans you will get bored after a while. That's my honest review fellow travellers, I hope it helps :)
