Noisy customers, expensive for it. During the work, they could make a commercial gesture.

Very good place to make purchases and take locomotion to the airport!

Right in the center of Barcelona. Everything is on foot from this place. Small hotel very friendly. Own. Room a little small on the other hand, and noise at night, but good it is Barcelona.
Just behind the Plaza de Catalunya. Shops and tapas bars are not far away. A crossroads at 100 meters. Bookkeeper adorable.
Attention no elevator.
If I go back to Barcelona, this is the hotel I will rent again.

Great value (winter prices) and location at top end of Las Ramblas near Place de Catalunya and Gothic Qtr. Basic but quiet room, functional bathroom and ok terrace. Friendly staff. Could leave bags on last day, for collection later.

My room smelt like poo. I arrived late in the evening and the happy gentleman was helpful. He aslo smelt like he was having himself a great time. They allowed for a later check out because I was in quite a rush. That reminds me I should probably ask for my soap back as I left it in the shower. Oh well you lost the star for the poo particles floating in the air but hey not bad. They have enough to support my accommodation needs.

Location is perfect. The crew is perfect also. But not suitable for families with baby.

I can really recommend this accommodation! Stayed there last year in march with my mum and this year we are going to choose Hostal Santa Ana again. The price is super cheap in comparison to other hotels. The location is great and less than one minute to the ramblas, the staff is very friendly (and English speaking). Yes, the rooms might be simple and not the biggest but they are very clean, they even cleaned within our 4 day stay (furthermore folded our clothes). The room has all you need after a long day of sightseeing barcelona: a comfy bed, flat screen tv, fast Wi-Fi! Only 1 bad thing I can think of: If you're staying there in summer: Might be a bit noisy with open windows due to its closeness to Ramblas.

Simple and clean Hostel. Very helpful. Excellent area. 1 block from the Rambla and 2 from Plaza Catalunya.

Just spent a night, has no air conditioning and the beds are very uncomfortable, the only good thing of the hostel is its location.

I had my worst night while staying at this place. It started by getting a "beautiful" single room for 70 EUR on the inside of the house next to the hotel's office (room number 102). The room's only (unclosable) window faces another room in the private part of the hostel. At 11pm a guy was sitting there smoking and talking on the phone. It felt like he was standing next to my bed as I was trying to fall asleep. After he finished his phone call I fell asleep only to be waked at 1:30am by the sound of the microwave he was using and the following eating sounds accompanied by a radio or TV. I hope he enjoyed his meal! After that there were at least two more incoming phone calls and the sound of the door bell that kept me from sleeping. At 7am when the cleaning ladies started their shift it got busier and the private hotel parts next to my window where thoroughly cleaned with chloride cleaning agent. All that was very enjoyable. I will never stay there again.

Clean, very simple, but central hotel. The bed is something small, as well as the room for 2 persons. The staff is friendly and uncomplicated. For people with little demands an ideal accommodation.
