Small nice hotel with great location in city heart. Very clean room equipped with everything needed — wardrobe, fridge, safe, small entrance zone with a chair, comfortable bed, big bathroom, no dust, everything is new (or even not very old), interesting modern design. Breakfast (mostly coffee with croissant) was good for its price. There is pinball in the lobby, we liked playing!

The hotel is well located on a quiet old street. Nearby, just 2-3 minutes walk is Rambla Street, Catalonia Square, metro station, shops, cafes.

Very thin walls, good audibility, take earplugs. Breakfast for three, location 10 out of 10.

Great hotel for a little money in an ideal location in the heart of Barcelona.

Generally nice and tidy. Good bang for buck ratio. Located in the true tourist centre, so if you are up to shopping, you really dont have to go far.

Quiet hotel in a great location near La Rambla and the Gothic quarter. Clean rooms, reasonable breakfast and a VERY friendly and helpful staff. Only problem is that there are not enough electric sockets.

I hae no idea haw this hotel rated as a 3 stars. Two are the more than enough. All room clean, breakfast will get you energy, for low budget travelers. 5 stars for location. All around. Stores, food, transportation, gaudy masterpieces. Palas of music, markets and more. My choice only due to location. 5 min walk from plaza catalunia.

Great location. Near the whole center, shops, attractions. The lack of a very modest breakfast and lack of kettles in the room.

Besides the location and a great coffee for breakfast, this hotel does not have much to offer.
-room was very dusty — very location — bathroom very small — we had the room aligned to the backyard. However, there are always the homeless and were also accordingly noisy in the morning.

The walls are made of smoking paper, you hear everything. The room clean and well.

Everything was clean and as shown on the pictures. Could be a little bit noisy from outside, but it didn't bother me personally. The stuff was very helpful and friendly!

People who gave here 1 out of 5 aiming the reality. The location was very central, the room was clean and the hotel generally well maintained and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was looking forward to breakfast every morning. There was nothing missing and the coffee was of the finest. Price performance perfect for me;)

CHARGED 2 NITES UNFAIRLY I was going to attend a conference for 2 nights, in Barcelona, and I booked a hotel the day before because of a last minute change in my travel. By mistake I booked Cortes, when I had wanted to stay at Corts which is close to the conference site. When I explained the situation to Cortes, the receptionist was surly and insisted that I would be charged a full 2 nights stay even though I was not checking in at the hotel. I was willing to pay some penalty, but 2 nights stay is excessive and expensive. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that he only was available for 2 hours each day; Cortes would not give me his phone number or email! DO NOT book this hotel, as it is more interested in taking your money than in giving any type of friendly customer service.

Very clean and friendly Hotel.

My Daughter and I stayed here on a long weekend break (August 17) It turned out to be one of the best hotels that we have stayed in for a long time. We couldnt find any faults at all. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were spotless. We were'nt troubled by the noisy street below as the double glazing was really efficient and with the aircon there was no need to have the window open during the night. Breakfast was very good and served by a very friendly waiter. Would definately stay again.

Lovely quiet hotel seconds from Las Rambles. Great family room with a really nice balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast was good and beds were really comfortable. Helpful concierge. Overall we had a really lovely stay.

Excellent located hotel, ideal for a city trip! The affordable hotel is at an ideal location near the Plaça de Catalunya with access to the metro, buses, tourist information and next to the Ramblas. Shops and restaurants are all close. The room we stayed in was very clean. Breakfast was also good with delicious made coffee.

Simple but clean hotel two steps away from la rambla, but at the same time not loud but quiet rooms are comfortable and the linen is clean (towels everyday) staff is helpful and kind (all). A hotel that I WOULD RECOMMEND and that if I went back to Barcelona would surely also we were fully satisfied with them throughout.
