Hostal Paris Hotel

Even for a central location, this hostel leaves much to be desired. No warning of renovations when booking, which started daily at 8am… Thin walls which allowed you to hear everything from neighbors. We paid extra for a room with a private toilet and shower which were both disgusting (we stayed on the 4th floor so I assume they have not yet been renovated as we had a massive crack from one side of the wall to the other) — toilet seats were stained yellow, aircon was basically a fan, TV had almost no channels working (not to mention you pay a deposit for the remotes for the aircon and TV) and lastly the reception was rather impolite. Wireless didn't work in our room at all. I really do not recommend this place — rather book out of center and travel by foot to where you need to be or metro as it is close enough.

New interior, neat, clean, close to metro and all attractions. However the airconditioner did not work, the front desk staff showed no interest in trying to fix the problem or provide a fan. There was no remote for the television. Very noisy at night and even worse as a result of having to leave doors open for cool air. I would not stay here again.

A really miserable hotel, no one, no one when you get in the room you feel only a bad smell of sewer, the service sucks too when I surprised that the elevator does not work and I asked the gentleman at the reception when the problem will be settled his rep SNSB was that he did not know at all and that was not his business it is the company of the elevator that is responsible as if the elevator was not in their hotel, knowing that I was on the 4th floor with a child and a stroller.
The sheets are torn, no remote control you have to deposit a deposit to have it, mold tracies on all the walls, it was really disgusting, not to mention the positioning of the electrical outlet all over your head.
I really regret having to stay in this junk because it is far from a hotel.

Very nice hotel (or hostel), comfortable, very well located, and affordable price. The concierges were very friendly. They are renovating many rooms, spacious and comfortable mattresses. The only problem I had, is that the bathroom door opened itself, I had to lock it with the machine XD.

The hotel does not have a smoke detector in the room (they still have the right to rent their rooms without this security measure… the question remains open) … Moreover, this hotel promises Wi-Fi in the rooms… Unfortunately not in mine (no 209) … Despite my complaint, the receptionist initially argued that there was Wi-Fi in my room and then simply fired me from a "I can't do anything"… but I paid for a room with Wi-Fi… It's a brigdership… Apart from that: incomplete finishes (false plinths or plinths missing, wiring ducts and hole in the ceiling), no window outward, storage of cleaning tools in the eyes of all in the corridor, very dusty headboard, dusty TV, the room has a safe but it must be rented 4 euros per day and deposit 10 euros! Some positives: the room has a stamp with its exposed bricks and natural wood furniture, the pressure of the shower is good and the location (about half-height from Rambla to 10 meters from the Rambla)

Very convenient location. The balcony overlooks the Rambla. Near the tourist center, a lot of places for breakfast and dinner for any pocket. Almost all the sights are within walking distance. In the evening you can listen to the noise of the Night City (it is special). The room itself is small-2 large beds, 2 chairs, a table, a private bathroom with bathtub and a balcony to the street (not to dance in it:-). Large bathroom (cleaned every day, towels changed, linen clean and pleasant to the touch). Staff are friendly and Tries to speak all languages (tourists were both on selection from all over the world). We stayed at the lodge for a few days. WI FI is quite decent in the mornings. When leaving the things were left in the local camera (2 euro), returning you could take a shower, change clothes (the bathroom on the ground floor above all praise). 10 min walk to the bus to the airport. Yes important location of the room (206) such that the air conditioning did not have to include a breeze from the balcony cons: the room has no fridge (so had to buy ice otherwise the water almost immediately becomes warm. The beds are great but the European pillows are Nightmare. The noise of the night we did not disturb, we perceived it as exotic and local color and in general after walking around the city most often the touch to the bed ended with a deep sleep with the awakening in the morning to the aroma of coffee (under the balcony restaurant).

Cheep, good position in the centre, friendly workers. Don't expect too much. Who only look for a place to sleep nice, but who look for comfort: search further in the city.

Well located in the center of Barcelona the room left a lot to be desired. The attention I can not say was bad, just was give you the key give me the key, I have the control of the air are 10 euros, which are returned at the end of the stay. The same thing the TV 10 euros tip could warn at the time of check-in so does not go up and down every time you realize that the controls are missing. At night it is half noisy and more if you touch the rooms to the inner courtyard. I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel has clean sheets and towels and hot water. It's very basic, but it's at the perfect location. There are a lot of nice restaurants and bars near it. The metro station is just on the other side of the street. Compared to the prices of other hotels around, it's cheap. It's a bit noisy — you can hear everyone in the corridor and also if people in the rooms next to yours are talking loudly. The shower is uncomfortable, you have to hold it while you're using it. The outputs are a bit high on the walls and aren't next to the beds. If you're are having a short vacation in Barcelona, you're not too pretentious and you're looking for something cheap in the center, this hotel is ok.

Youth Hostel/hotel located in the heart of Barcelona (on the Ramblas).
We had a room with 2 large beds. A small bathroom. Anyway, whatever it took.
On the other hand, it was a bit noisy… (Works and insulation of the rooms is not very good either…)
But the value for money is still very good!

No stars. Awful hostel. Room and bathroom were dirty and reception people were overall not friendly.

See, the place is not a luxury, much less. Our room had many flaws, like the window that did not close, the door that looked like the flamboyant or the dirty walls of mosquito blood. I am staying at this property for three nights.
On the second day I left my room between 9:45 and 12:15 I closed the windows and the door locked.
When I came back my laptop and a cell phone were gone and the door to my room was open (but didn't seem to have been forced. )
When I went down to complain to the receptionist he replied that it was not his problem and that I should have given him the key when leaving.
He didn't want me to call the police at his counter and he told me he didn't know the police number…
I asked to see a manager he replied that no one was there and did not want to give me his name of course.
He didn't look surprised at all… strange no?
If you hold on to your business don't go there.

We stayed for 5 nights… Hotel with a lot of noise; you have to pay extra €10 if you want a TV remote control and AC control; Bad cleaning, the floor was never cleaned. The Wi-Fi doesn't work. I wouldn't recommend to stay in this hotel.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I reserved a double bedroom 2 months before and requested for a child bed in the room. The day I was travelling to Barcelone, I received a message telling me that no child bed is available! I couldnt change because they had already charged for the first night. When we arrived there, the personnel were not friendly at all and nobody seemed to know about the child bed! When we arrived in the room, surprise… door handle broken, room not well maintained and a bit dirty, bed lamp broken with loose wires… There was a small sink in the room which was smelling really bad and I could not sleep the first night because of this… We were using shared bathroom and toilet… it was very dirty with bad smell… very difficult when we had to use the toilet/bath. We stayed the least possible in our room! Difficult to sleep at night, la rambla very noisy. Also, we had to rent the safe in the room! And finally, my 3G was faster than the hotel Wi-Fi! I don't recommend this hotel to any one.

The location is very good. However, you can walk. The staff is friendly, friendly, despite the aplomb porter regarding the status of the hotel. The rooms are somewhat primitive, which seems to correspond to most inexpensive European hotels.

Just not acceptable… 120 € for a horrible no bath room one night stay… and very good surprise as thé hôtel was full. No hot water in thé morning because of "too many" persons. Kidding us.

Cons: Walls are paper thin and the doors have only a deadbolt style lock, which means every time anyone comes or leaves everyone can hear loud slamming, fiddling with the lock, and voices. Wifi works about 5% of the time at very slow speeds in the rooms. Pros: The location and price are good.

If shabby, dirty, extremely noisy and above all institution not maintained. Ideally located in the ramblas, this very clean, we have a new double bed, staff is friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that it has no elevator. For us we were all day out was not a problem. Given that we are looking for a base from where to visit the city, a good bed and a shower clean. The truth all those premises were met. We will return.

Noisy, smelly and room was broken into. Obviously an inside job, lock on door sill intact. Avoid at all costs.

Unfortunately I happened there because it was the least worst and the only one with a free room during the fair of the "MOBILE phone", at the beginning everything seemed quiet we had a small room, dirty and bathroom indecent but whatever better than shared bathrooms as the background! or the 13-room xsone! night is the nightmare our room from the lobby and x all night the staff shouting and rintuona as an amplified signal across the room! I spent 4 nights with no sleep and nightmare every night by reminding that co **** talking in the lobby that had customers! and at night it at 3.00 am want to sleep reply: perdoname forgives.
