Nice location close to beach and local attractions, nice rooms and memory foam mattresses staff very friendly and helpful.

Great Hotel 2 minutes from the beach. Frigobar, air conditioning and staff arranges. Bar with kitchen inside very inviting and overall well furnished. Too bad only the style of the showers is uncomfortable as it is easily flooded the bathroom.

Great location — terrible room. A/C didn’t work. Hotel staff was less than helpful. It stayed hot and sticky on the room the whole time and definitely detracted from the experience of Barcelona. Nice location though — super close to the beach.

The room was nicely decorated. It needed some repairs. The room is noisy. The place was clean. The Wi-Fi connection was stable.

The best cookies I’ve EVER had at breakfast. Great donuts too, and a selection of drinks such as coffee and juices. Toast however is quite dry and the slices of bread are too big for the plates. Fried/scrambled eggs are almost perfectly cooked. However the people working in the kitchen do tend to smash at least one item of crockery per day. Dinner has a variety of options on the menu, though there are many interesting and good value for money restaurants down the side streets which you should definitely try instead of the number of almost identical restaurants on the main road. The beach is incredibly near which makes it easy for a good day to relax if you don’t want to rush around anywhere. There are also clubs nearby which are good, though Saturday nights guarantee trouble sleeping due to the immense number of people setting off fireworks in the street (though it is legal, I think).

Unfortunately, only to a limited extent to recommend. Rooms very noisy and extremely small. You heard it all through the walls. For party holidaymakers certainly suitable but for business travelers who should be rested should unfortunately not be recommended. The staff was very friendly and the roof terrace was also very nice. Rooms were cleaned very clean every day. Good sleep should be included at this price.

The beach in Barcelona is beautiful and very close to the city center. Once delivered, there are a few restaurants with a view of the sublime Mediterranean Sea, but you often have to queue to get a table. I would recommend the Passeig de Joan de Borbo where a multitude of terraces await you. Here, in the restaurant of the Hotel 54, the service is friendly and courteous, the terrace is sunny and the prices are reasonable. The sangria is good, but the burger is a little dry. It's a decent place without more.

Ooh I love this spot, good little restqurant downstairs which spills onto the street. A good array of your usual drinks and cocktails available. In the summer month you can walk up to the roof to terrace where you can chill out on benches and bean bags on the fake grass over looking the harbour, with a bar just a few steps away. This coronary bar, always has good bucket specials, but try out their sangria too. Awesome stop when it's sunny. The hotel itself is good, rooms are clean and modern, breakfast is generally not included.

Excellent location, wonderful veiw, very close to beach and a lot of nice restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Easy access to city centre, very helpful staff. A little small rooms and very slow elevator and very poor breakfast, I prefer to grab your breakfast at any of the very close coffee shops.

Food was very delicious. The veggie burger was amazing.

Bar staff extremely rude and unhelpful, drinks overpriced and order wrong but not apologetic at all said it was our fault!

A lovely hotel, in a good location for exploring the city. Really friendly staff — especially on reception. We always received a warm welcome — can’t thank Christina and Inigo enough for their helpfulness and giving us information on things to do and see. Freddy’s breakfasts are wonderful-he was always happy to cook food to our liking. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Definitely would stay here again.

Very nice room not very big but it was all very new, and taking care of the breakfast it is worth to pay it very full and just full.

Great all round hotel from the location to the excellent and very helpful staff at reception, excellent harbour views, nice modern rooms with comfortable beds, TV and mini bar. Great prices on rooms and the hotel is spotlessly clean with friendly cleaning staff. I would strongly recommend this hotel for travellers as it ticks all the boxes for that truly great experience in the beautiful city of Barcelona.

A lovely hotel with great views out over Port Vell. Situated in Barcelona's Barceloneta district it is ideally located for both the beach & city attractions. Breakfasts were more than adequate & served in a small but nice bar/cafe area at the front of the premises. The staff were lovely, attentive & efficient. I would gladly stay at Hotel 54 Barceloneta, on future occassions & would recommend it to others.

Very Nice hôtel. Very confortable room with a nive vew to the port and boats. The situation in av joan borbon makes it Very interserting. Next and behind the sea. At 100 metres you can find museums. Aquarium. Do the city bus. The tour on boat. See the santa maria cherch. Take a walk in the old town. So it s realy Very well placed. I recommend it to all vey sincerly. And the price is reasanable. The hotel has a great location with a direct view of the marina. That sea is only within a few minutes walk. You can explore everything on foot from the hotel, a taxi is not necessarily required.

Perfect place to have a drink with friends. Good views, good price, and chillout. They jave in their offer both drinks and food, so everyone can find what needed. Really recommended.

Great location and price for something in such a lovely area. Beds clean and comfortable. Stair way could do with a bit of updating as it makes you worry what your room is going to be like.

Great location staff are fantastic unfortunately the breakfast was included but they never had any bread left by the time we got down to eat, 11 am was the cut of time we were always there before that.
Nightclub in the lane was so load the room shook.
I would say mostly for the young crowd.

Only went to the rooftop. Very very nice view. But drinks are really expensive.

Amazing location, great staff, good restaurant and bar downstairs, and a lovely roof terrace.

My fiance and I were there around the third week of January 2017 and we were wanting to have lunch before we got back on the metro to go to the train station. We ordered our food at 12:45 and did not receive our food until nearly 14:00. We had a basic Salad and Some rice and Shrimp, the waitress / bartender was not very kind very snippy had an attitude. My fiance and I could not continue to wait, so we had to get our food to go well part of it to go and we ate the other half as fast as we could because our train left the Station at 15:00. The food is excellent but the service and the attitude of the front-end staff is not very pleasant or timely.

The hotel is very nicely located. The view of the marina is great. The integrated restaurant makes delicious tapas. The beach is very close. We explored the city on foot from the hotel. The rooms are sufficiently large and modernly furnished. The Renovierungscheint to be some time ago, the facilities were already a little used up, cupboard doors crooked, Windows did not lock properly. But still recommend we would stay there again.

This very well good views and what I like most wanted the terrace is beautiful and there is a mini bar to take something always in summer much recommend it.

Was there for 5 Nights. It was okay. The rooms are small but clean. The air conditioning dir not work at all. From outside it was very loud at night when the Trash was removed. Therefore it has a great Terrasse with a nice wiew of the port. So 4 Stars seems right to me.
