Wonderful and fatastic place to us we're very happy to stay at JW Marrot Seoul. Especily, staffs are very kind and Restaurants, fitness are awesome.

I have stayed at many Marriotts, but this hotel is truly remarkable. Top tier from the staff to the accommodations.

Great location, walking distance to shopping, subway and food court! Very clean and modern! 1 min to convenient store and Starbucks!

The best hotel in Seoul. Beautiful lounge at the lobby with great music. You don’t have to go somewhere else as everything you need is within the hotel premises. Two floors down you will find everything you need, food, restaurant, shops anything at all.

This is a fantastic hotel. Amazing facilities and the gym is the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The staff are wonderful and the location is great. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Nice one Marriott.

Very stylist, great view, and staff service was over the top.

It is one of the best JW Marriott hotels worldwide. The best fitness center with Olympic size swimming pool and an awesome concierge lounge.
There are major issues with the renovation though. The new lobby is cold, empty and uninviting. It would have been better to keep the lobby bar and cafe as a meeting point. Who checks in on the 8th floor anyway? Also, there are no desks in the rooms now. JWM seems to have forgotten who their largest customer base is, business patrons who like the luxury but want convenient business amenities. Lastly, what happened to the 2nd floor piano bar overlooking the lobby? I loved that space!
All in all still a great hotel with a wonderful, attentive staff but those renovations deserve zero stars.

Nice newly renovated hotel. Classy lounge and polite staff. Look at those grapes… hand written notes welcoming me. A really nice touch.

Had a great stay! The rooms were really clean and the hotel is very stylish and food was great. The staff was generally helpful but there was a lot of waiting time when we called for anything. We hope to stay here again on our next visit!

Pros: Very good service. Fast elevators. Roomy executive lounge. Cons: Not sure what the empty 1st floor with giant fake pearls is all about… also they got me the "Taxi from hell" to the airport…

A little old but with that have been frequenting here since around 2005 and their service is phenomenal! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Less of a hotel, more of an exquisite adventure. I stayed during the soft-launch after a major refurbishment which has left the hotel an phenomenal executive lounge, a cavernous Korean-style sauna/spa and a thoughtfully-run grill restaurant. My only criticism would be a confused checkin experience that initially assigned me the wrong room and didn't explain what the hotel had to offer.

One of my favorite hotels in Seoul with the other one is Le Meridian Seoul. I like breakfast here better especially their gold kiwi fruit juice!

Ordered our Thanksgiving Turkey from here. As with many Western hotels, they have a special offer around the holidays, though this is definitely the best. They give you the full set up for 10-15 people, including sides, that make any expat feel like they’re back in the states.

It was a good experience staying at this hotel. Staff were super cordial, the amenities were rather practical and I was able to use them during my trip. Their pool was good, the restaurants were very good, reasonably priced I thought. The hotel is connected to an underground mall and restaurants. Very convenient if you need to go travel southern regions of the South, then this hotel is so convenient since the bus terminal is sitting next to the hotel. I believe this hotel is under renovation now.

It was a great stay. Located close to the subway and shops. The hotel planned on a renovation and was to make the experience even better. Concierge service and lounge were great amenities.

Fantastic locations! The hotel is connected to a gigantic areas from a luxurious retails and famous department store; it is also connect to the popular and affordable shopping street. Plenty of locate delicious and up-class restaurants, fusion or authentic foods are available. Full of adventures and you can literary speeds days here to explore. Plus, it's fully sheltered so its all weather.

The services and hotel ambiance are great! But have questions on your billing statement. There are separate daily charges for each item such as: accommodation; room charge; service charge-manual; service charge and room tax. Can you please explain what these are? It would really help me understand and recommend the hotel to my co-workers if we know what each charge is about. Thank You for your assistance.

Truly a 4.5* hotel. Service is prompt, detailed and courteous. They go the extra mile to make their guests happy. Elevators are a little slow (not enough for so many floors) which is pretty much the only complaint. Location is amazing as it is centrally located and right next to one of the big department stores in Shinsegae. If you are a gold member and are lucky enough to go to the executive lounge make sure you are there for breakfast and happy hour… definitely one of the best executive lounges among mass chain hotels.

Nice hotel in Seoul which is about 1hr drive from Incheon Airport. Hotel has 4 restaurants and cafe lounges. It also has dine in facility 24hrs. Nice ambiance with helpful hotel staff makes you stay better. Hotel has one of the best health clubs with swimming pool. Its also co located with mall…

Hotel is very nice, but the reservation service was not very helpful when it came to the executive lounge. I was staying there for a work related meeting and all of my colleagues had access to the lounge except for me, since I was added last minute. When I asked if I could be added to the executive lounge I was told it was full, but I could purchase access to it, which didn't make sense to me. Still a nice hotel though!

Great Hotel, great staff and great facilities. Will love to stay here again. The hotel is situated in the Gangnam area, so short taxi ride to Seoul downtown. It has great breakfast, lunch and dinner options. We tried both the executive lounge breakfast and the cafe breakfast on the second floor. The cafe breakfast buffet had more variety. There is a swimming pool in the basement with a sauna and spa. The hotel is also connected to a shopping mall. The express bus terminal is right behind the hotel too which is also a subway stop. There are plenty of eating options in the mall and downstairs in the hotel and outside the hotel. All in all, a great place to stay while in Seoul.

Very nice, high quality, as you would expect from a JW Marriott. Had room service meal, and it was not the typical quality I expect from a JW. Food was delivered rapidly, but it was also cold. I had the seafood stir fry.

5 stars set for beauty and prices for me, high. Alas.

My go-to hotel every time I'm in Seoul. The friendly and efficient front house staff ensure a consistently terrific experience from initial check-in to checkout. Fresh fruit and a handwritten note are a welcome personalized touch. Rooms are thoroughly serviced by the housekeeping staff, always a fresh aroma and spotless. Executive Lounge and 2nd floor restaurant are both superb. Highly recommend this outstanding property.

The staff at the hotel are just incredible, very happy to help. Lena actually took the time to walk me to the cinema and help buying tickets. The afternoons in the club include a good selection of food and drinks and breakfast is also good and the views are brilliant. The returned in the hotel a fantastic and highly rate. But of you after like me and want to explorer then the location is great, over the road from a beautiful park for walking or jogging. Short walk to the old French quarter with great restaurants and bars. All very safe to walk around at night. The express terminal gives you access to buses and trains so traveling around is very simple, Google maps does a good job of helping with the right platform etc. Ok I'm raving, but this really is good. :)

Recently, I stayed at the JW, my home away from home. Upon leaving the crew bus at the airport I left my iPad on the bus. I sent an email when I got home and had a reply within hours that the hotel had my iPad! Fantastic. Attention to detail and communication. I really find this location fabulous. The staff treats us very well. Thank you, JW!

Great hotel, good price, friendly staff, near shopping mall, bus terminal.

The bathrooms in the suites are incredible. I was able to fully relax and enjoy my time there and the bathroom was the main reason. The bath may have been a little short for me, but it didn't ruin the experience. Buffet dinner in the Cafe was incredible, as was the breakfast. I had a very good stay! Will definitely think about doing it again!

Classy, Great for Shopping, but Better Places and Locations in Seoul. Certainly great service, amenities, cleanliness, etc. The club lounge is good for working, but not for food: very standard breakfast, but not even real eggs so can't have scrambled eggs (it's "liquid egg"), no food of substance during they day (some nuts). Rooms are a good size, but very conservative and even a little tired. The big plus of course is that it's inside the shopping mall, the bus terminal and has a connected subway station. Yes, it also has a very nice pool. However, I believe the best secret to staying in the Marriott family in Seoul is The Plaza Seoul at City Hall. See my review.

I stay at Marriott properties all over Asia. The JW Marriott Seoul is the best hotel that I have stayed in. Great staff in the executive lounge and business center! The only place I recommend in Seoul.

Clean and quiet. Subway is underneath. Convenient for intercity travel. Plenty of shops and restaurants.

I stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul for about 30 days it was a great hotel. The staff really tried to make sure that my stay was very good and accommodated all my needs. Also I am from the USA and most of the hotel staff spoke very good English.

Great location! Easy to go anywhere in Seoul via subway. Love the breakfast buffet. Must visit nearby Familie Street for diving and dessert as well. It's modern and cool.

Splendid hotel in Gangnam. Beautiful rooms, very comfortable, perfectly equipped rooms. But the best part is the breakfast, unforgettable, huge, complete. There is also a huge Mall underneath the hotel with dozens of restaurants of all kinds. The metro is also just down the hotel.

Good location, but beds are flimsy and uncomfortable. Cocktails and food not easy to obtain and way over priced.

SUPERB service. Everyone is very kind and more than willing to help you with any need you have at any time. The staff are always smiling and you feel warm around their presence. I even started chatting with the cleaning lady as she cleaned our bathroom. I was getting ready for my cousin's wedding, and she and I started chatting as if we were family. Very open, honest, and cheerful. The greatest part of JW Marriott is that it's located within a direct connection with Shinsaegae Shopping Mall, which has the BEST dining plaza located on the bottom floor. Their are TONS of VARIETY of food squares where the food is prepared on the spot. So much beautifully created dishes, that range from Soondae Bokum (korea blood sausage dish) to beautifully set, traditional korean fare, that the Kings and Queens of the past Korean dynasty's devoured. There's even a Johnny Rockets inside! Sweets, savory's, tangy's, spicy's, JUST EVERYTHING is here. It blows your mind away in such a manner where you feel dizzy from the outstanding aromas, people, and selection. Just staying in this one spot you can see and do just about anything. There's even a bus terminal in Central City. Another portion linked to this hotel. It's like a world connected to another and another and another. Even a movie theater, a massage parlor, fine dining, and just etc. Etc. Etc.! I wish I could live inside this hotel! but alas, i've got other relatives to visit, and other cities to explore.

Probably the best Marriott I've stayed, bar none. The best gym, concierge lounge, service, room, atmosphere, lobby, etc.

Ridiculously Overpriced; a small cup of coffee in the lobby costs $15; there are numerous other excellent hotels in Seoul that are fairly priced and not pompous.

Friendly staff. Great executive club level. Marble bathrooms and great views of Seoul. Plus you are connected to shopping, a movie theater, and the subway.

I am a flight attendant for a private jet, and stay in many hotels around the world year-round. This is by far my favorite hotel to stay in. The service is impecable. The hotel rooms are so clean and the beds are so nice it I hestitate to touch anything. The location is great, and everyone speaks English. As a platinum member, I have access to the exec floor lounge where there are computers, printers, an excellent breakfast, cappucino machine (best caps you will ever have), and open bar at night. It is tremendous. I literally feel like I am on vacation when I am at this hotel. Enjoy.
