A VERY BIG THANK YOU for our marvelous stay at Tsala Treetop Villas — it truly was amazing! Our 2 nights at Tsala was our favorite of the entire honeymoon, from the moment we arrived everything was perfect. Karin was the best host and the villa we stayed in was absolutely stunning. The turn down service was out of this world and the dinner we had served to our room was superb — big compliments to your chef, Ettienne. Tsala is in every sense a magical place and perfect honeymoon destination, from the most amazing villa and treetop views, superb service, beautiful architecture and attention to detail. We loved everything about this special place and will have to return for another out of this world experience. Lots of love

What an amazing property. Beautiful. Welcoming, warm and so friendly. The food in Zinzi Restaurant was wow.

. My husband and I state there for a few days after awaiting. We had the perfect honeymoon. There were a lot of thoughtful notes in the room including a welcome note as well as good night notes from the manager.
The whole atmosphere was very beautiful, very private and very relaxing.
They definitely know how to set the mood for any couples there for a honeymoon. The food was absolutely amazing, it was well cooked and delicious we had dinner at Tsala, Zinzi and Hunter all 3 plates were just perfect. The staff is very friendly well-trained and very attentive

The manager Karin was present and attentive at all times. She made a note to talk to us every morning and find out how or stay was going and she organized a Spa for us.

Breathtaking views of the surrounding forest with the most peaceful night's sleep nestled amongst the treetops, an absolute MUST if you are planning a trip to this area. Special thanks to the incredible staff, especially Karen, for your hospitality and going above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Absolute bliss! Tsala Treetop Lodge is the most romantic place on earth! Rooms with stunning views of the forest, tasteful decor and delicious food. What more could a girl ask for? :-) Definitely recommend this place!

Simply one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed in! The attention to detail from the hotel is fantastic. For example, we returned from dinner to find the wood fire had been lit and the room made cosy for the night. On arrival we were given complimentary sparkling wine / drinks and the room even had a dram of local port & biscuits for us. The views are insane and the restaurant excellent and reasonably priced. Would definitely return again, it’s honeymoon material!

This place is heaven on earth. The most Romantic place we have ever stayed. Total bliss. Impeccable staff and service. Both restaurants were just fantastic both the food and service. The evening lit fires and candles when you return to your treetop were sublime and who ever knew a hot water bottle tucked in the bed every night could conjure up such warmth and comfort. Lastly who can not enjoy breakfast while the monkeys sit outside the windows on the treetops. Phenomenal place! We will be back.

I should give 6 stars. One of the best hotel that I have ever gone. Very friendly staff. Beautiful decorations. If you want to relax and peace of mind come here.

We had the most magical time in Tsala Treetop Lodge celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The attention to detail, the wonderful 5 Star service, the luxury, comfort and amazing food / staff made our stay so special. We loved every second of this wonderful place and will definitely be back very soon. Thank you Tsala Treetop Lodge and to the Vervet Monkeys too for giving us such a beautiful few days. We didn't want to leave.

Disappointingly Tsala fell well below our expectations and was a disaster from the moment we arrive to the moment we left. We decided to stay at Tsala as post wedding and pre-Christmas relax, but our stay ended up being anything but relaxing. There were a catalogue of errors, too long to list here but mostly due to poor customer service. Particularly disappointed with the manager Karen. After writing a complaint to Tsala, which was rudely ignored, I followed up with a compliant to Trailfinders. Unbelievably, we received a letter full of justifications for their errors and hurtfully insinuating that we had lied. Trailfinders did apologise, but as we do not feel that Tsala (Hunter Hotels) have not reflected on the feedback we have provided, the same mistakes could be made with other guests. It is for that reason I felt compelled to write this review. A beautiful setting for a hotel, and I'm sure when the customer service is good it's a very magical place to stay, sadly that's pot luck!

We have just returned from our honeymoon to the Seychelles and South Africa. We stayed in five hotels over our trip and Tsala Treetop Lodge was by far the best. We stayed with them for two nights and the experience from start to finish was faultless. We can’t even think of anything to suggest for them to improve. On arrival we were met by Travis who was exceptionally helpful throughout our entire stay. Travis, and all the staff, couldn’t do enough help. Breakfast was exceptional. We’ve stayed in many hotels around the world where breakfast is included as part of the stay, but the meal at Tsala was again faultless. They even had blueberries and strawberries. For the evening meals we ate once in the hotel and once in Zinzi (an restaurant a 2 minute walk away). Both were amazing. The meal at the hotel was definitely fine dining. The tree houses were what you would expect and more. We have absolutely nothing to fault from our stay here and definitely recommend it to anyone considering staying in the area.

One of my favorite places on earth! Tsala Tree Top Lodge is completely magical. My husband and I stayed here three years ago on our delayed honeymoon which also happened to be over my birthday. I fell in love with the staff, the views, the food, the service — it was incredible. Just went back for dinner a few weeks ago — everything is as it was! Same warm staff, same beautiful location, same impeccable service. Zinzi (another restaurant on the property) gets a lot of attention, but I dare say dinner in Tsala's romantic, candlelit dining room is more intimate, and the food is just as delicious (if not better)!

Epic place with everything you need!

Cool to stay in tree tops but virtually no internet. Food was not good. There is a lot to see in the area. Bird place, cheetah, elephant park within 20 min drive were all great. I supposed it was the best choice in the area but dont expect 5 star food or internet or activities on site. They had small pool but not heated so not usable etc.
