We have just returned to Cape Town after a wonderful six night stay at Laird's Lodge. I cannot express how special it was, from the delicious food to the outstanding service and beautiful gardens this is the an amazing getaway. Perfectly situated to appreciate both Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, this is the ideal place to base yourself and enjoy the Garden Route. It is the stylish attention to detail of each pause area and the curated food and estate wine that make the difference!

Our best dining experience in years! Everything about our evening out with friends was exquisite, from the friendly greeting at the entrance, the Riedel wine tasting by Shannon (5*) to our absolutely stunning meal in opulent surroundings. My kingklip popped with zesty citrus flavours. Each bite a delight to savour. Dessert was a light and delicious beautifully presented affair. What a treat! Thank you to all at Lairds Lodge. We can’t wait to be back in July.

The way you are situated far enough from the city to be totally at peace, and close and one with the beautiful natural surroundings, yet close enough to Plett for a great meal and a little shopping if you need goodies, and not have to travel far to get home.
