Everything it's just perfect their rooms, breakfast nd Supper nd the staff at the reception very friendly nd welcoming with a welcome drink.

There is a rude lady called karabo who is supposed to be the manager there which is so indecisive and she does not consider any of the guests concerns and the waitress called Rebecca who does not care about our concerns as well. They just dismissed us like it wasn’t their fault that we found ourselves in the predicament in the first place… I work with customers myself and I find it utterly disappointing how they treated us… I don’t recommend this hotel after this ordeal.

The best food, best environment and best service.

A very attractive Family — friendly reception area and the warm welcoming receptions, Very romantic atmosphere, Specious rooms… Cleanliness all over the surroundings. Very fresh palatable food. In short everything is splendid.

Best place to be if u need quality quite time with family or that special someone. Food is on point, great staff, room service, house keeping. Im here for a few more days but dread leaving.

Beautiful building but the service is not so great.
You don’t really feel like you’re in a 5* hotel.
A bit disappointing… then there was no electricity in the morning with no back up.

The place is extremely beautiful, but my experience was awful. I went for the night with 3 of my friends. I suspect that they felt we were to young and questioned our ability to pay because we ordered food from the restaurant and 4 to 5 star hotels generally allow you to cover the difference when you checkout. I explained to the person who delivered the food that I would pay when I leave, checkout was at 10 the next morning and we were getting ready for the South African Film and Television Awards. From the minute that gentleman left the restaurant called. We felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was in the showers but I had to rushout to give the kitchen manger my card. They refused to accommodate us. I feel that I didn’t receive my value for money. From that minute it became the worst experience of my life. I’m so nervous to make bookings outside of big cities because they have given me the impression that customer experience is compromised. I wish I could have my money back.

Heaven is a good word to describe the experience! Can't wait to go back again. Everything was 5 star!

Oh my goodness! This is the place to be! 5 Star All the way! State of the art gym, clinic, spa and Hotel. The view! The decor and the furniture is unique and custom-made.

The hotel facilities are top notch, rooms very cosy with high end finishes. Restaurant is not the best. Ala Carte menu is minimal and when we ordered, there were no ribs. The chicken wasn't fresh at all. Restaurant doesn't have the 5* feel and food. Service level from staff was acceptable.

Awesome place. Facilities and staff are top class. Staff went out of their way to assist me as I was on crutches at the time of my visit. Food was also great. Stunning bird life to top t all off.

We were treated like kings. Service and kindness was unlike anything we've experienced before. Nothing was too much effort. Rooms are beautiful and the facilities are world-class. We spent most of the weekend in the divine hot pool. What a treat. Thank you Royal Marang for the most delightful weekend.

Plus: Comfortable room Some friendly staff Heated indoor pool Negative: Upkeep and maintenance of the facilities are poor. Food overall not very good. Limited menu and limited breakfast buffet. Staff can be friendly but are not generally. Overall very poorly managed. Staff sitting around when there's dirty bathrooms. Coffee maker not cleaned. Definately not 5 star. Can hear the TV on the other side of the wall in the next room. Pool table there just for decoration. No spa treatment info or even therapist to be found. The jacuzzi was cold sauna not working and steam room dirty. A genuine disaster and real disappointment. What a shame.

Great hotel with a spa, restaurants, a gym and the rooms are amazing.

This place deserves 2 stars in terms of what you would expect of a 5 star hotel. To talk about the good points, this hotel has a FANTASTIC gym and spa area. If you are a gym bunny then this is the hotel for you. I had a great workout! As to the bad points: 1) if you are unfortunate enough to be placed in any of the rooms near the restaurant patio area — this will not be a tranquil experience, don't bother opening a window and have fun listening to the loudest of the hotels guests. Eventually we moved rooms, which solved this — not ideal but not a deal breaker. 2) The staff here are not particularly helpful, this is not a concierge service. Asking basic questions was met with many a blank face. What annoyed me the most was we were told we may may have to pay corkage on our own bottle of wine we wanted to drink in the room when we asked for a bottle opener. 3) Our room had ants, lots of them. I assume we just got unlucky. I'm summary, if you're an athlete, or want to drink loudly with a semblance of a view, great. If you want a relaxing weekend with good service, perhaps try elsewhere. This hotel has no blaring problems but too many little disappointments built up into a sub par experience.

Hotel environment very well, the sun city driving 25 minutes. In r565, the door like a club, to drive in, according to sign, instructions can, hear the English National Team at this hotel in to the World Cup. Services.
