Nice Hotel, next to the slope. Breakfast as buffet and food at restaurant tasty. Fine spa area with pool, sauna, outside wirl pools.

Nice place very close to the ski lifts.
The hotel rooms are nice, and the outdoor wellness is wonderfull. Bad: some of the waiters can’t speak english or german.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable, the bathroom really nice too. The wellness section is not particularly exciting though, with only one pool inside, sauna, and 2 bubble baths outside, one of which was out of order. The food was disappointing, as there was a very limited choice of healthy food (such as vegetables, fruits and wholegrains), especially at breakfast. And some people from the staff were quite rude.

Good location and view. You can clearly see the Chopok mountain, as you'll practically find yourself at its base. The hotel is very child-friendly and offers various animation activities for children. The meals could be better, as there's often not a lot to choose from. Also, the selection of breakfast sweet pastries, could be improved, as they are evidently less inviting, varied or fresh, as compared to the evening selection. I've also had trouble falling asleep as the company whose conference the Hotel was hosting seemed to have gone positively wild that one night. I believe the Hotel did very little to mitigate the chaos. The room we got looked modern and was furnished nicely, albeit, the couch and armchairs were quite intensively dusty for some reason. There was no AC, but I don't think it's ever needed in such a moderate climate location. The personnel was very friendly and dependable.

Very friendly staff and good service. Rooms are clean but I would say little bit expensive out of sky session. Bathroom has been very clean with shower gel, head shower hat, towels and everything you need. Food in the restaurant is amazing and very tasty but small portions. All drinks and food is very expensive, you can get the same beer or food 30-40% cheaper in restaurants out of the hotel. This hotel have cold feeling inside and I don't like how is it designed inside. Hotel is very boring and I missing something there. They should redesigned interior to look more bright. If you want to use fitness in the hotel there is one small room with some fitness equipments but that only for non gym or fitness people. There's not enough equipments or weight. I don't understand from where this hotel get 4*… For the money you will spend here this is not enough what you will get here. There's no air con which is big issue during summer. No fun in the hotel not any evening events just old people and seniors. Overpriced for this region.

Very good staff. Clean and well designed rooms. Perfect location although now there are some build sites around. Stairs to rooms are very inconvenient and look like they even don't belong to the hotel. Very tasty food and also well served, although almost all soups were too salty for me. Good for people who want attentive staff and expect much much more than just a shelter to stay under between hikes.

Excellent ski access, cozy rooms, mediocre food. Well worth the price. They speak English well and have go pass at the counter. Easy access to the ski room downstairs and a decent spa to relax in at night.

Very good food, though a little pricey, free parking for staying visitors. Very narrow beds, the hotel requires a few touches from exterior to fix things.

I had a great winter hike in the Demänovská dolina Valley. I had a feeling that I deserve good meal after hike. There are several good quality restaurants in the end of the valley. In summer I enjoyed food by the Grand Hotel Jasná. I found they had new menu in January 2018. Decided! The hotel restaurant was half empty at 13:00. Lunch is main meal in Slovakia. Most people have a lunch by 11:30. If you wait till 13:00, the restaurant is here just for you. Traditional Slovak lunch starts with soup. I was undecided between the Rabbit consommé with julienne vegetables and potato pancake filled with meat pudding and creamy potato soup with roasted mushrooms and quail egg. Rabbit consommé is quite rare in Slovakia. I chose more traditional creamy potato soup. Truly excellent! The quail egg is actually very small, just to make for unusual taste. As for the main course, I opted for the chef’s signature dish: deer ragout with fermented pear and sweet potato dumplings. Wild game can be tricky at times, stuff and/or chewy. This one was delicious. I am on the gluten-free diet and cannot eat dumplings. I asked waitress to exchange the dumplings for roasted potato. No problem. Good, because some Slovak restaurants are inflexible, or charge you extra. The blonde waitress was merry and attentive. I paid 20 euros for two courses. Not too much for expensive hotel in expensive location. The nearby Angus Restaurant in the Pošta Hotel is equally good, but twice as expensive.

It's a decent hotel! Everything is thought out for both children and adults! Good animation! Good food. Convenient location.

Bad room insulation, very small spa, repetitive breakfasts and queues at the reception.

The service is very lame, be prepared for the fact that you have to run after the waiters in the restaurant with a request to take your order.
Bring all your stuff into the room yourself. There is no staff for this purpose.
At the front desk too often queues, tk girls 1 or 2 behind the counter serve slowly.
And the saddest thing is that there is no water in the room. Buy it for a lot of money in the restaurant.

The hotel is located just a 30m. The view from the window and nature is excellent. The rooms are small but very thoughtful, functional and clean. The kitchen is very pleasant. But there were moments that ruined the overall experience. We added a "bed" to the room for the child, but it was inch from the floor and it looks like a bed just on the floor, despite the fact that the third place was paid as an adult. Even worse in the hotel is the organization of the New Year. The hotel has a large stage, which invited different artists, but the place in front of the stage is not enough and guests were seated in a number of small rooms of the restaurant and it turned out that the whole concert was for a few tables that fit in front of the stage. New Year's Eve dinner is a regular daily buffet. The only difference is that all the guests were invited to 19:00 and when the whole hotel lined up for food… Queue was long) ). With this new Year's dinner and the program we could not watch was Oplocheno separately and costs €130 per person, even the child did not get a discount. And so we have the opportunity to eat Borsch for the new Year for €390.

Are now the second night of five here. Hotel, the kitchen, the staff as well as the offer of various things such as The offer for children to play or wellness area are as described.
But from 21:30 run any machines (washing machines or similar) and this until 23:30 pm, it is noisy in the room (125)!
At the reception you have no sympathy for me, although I have alluded to the Lady a video with the sounds. She said it could only be guests?!
This is not a spa hotel! After a long day on the piste, a relaxed evening to be exposed to such noises in the room does not go at all!
For over €300 you can expect a rest from 10pm!

Wonderful place, great food, nice clean rooms, a few steps from the slopes. It will be a pleasure to come back.

Beautuful resort right on the ski lift. The snow was great even in the early season before Christmas. The breakfast was fantastic. I loved the French toast and fried eggs. Great tea selection. The dinner was alright but we chose to eat at Angus steak house down the street. The draw backs of being so close to the ski lift are hearing the groomers all night.

Slightly abpve average hotel in Jasna. Average for star hotel woth great food and averqfe services. Great location.

The place needs some maintenance of the roof draining system. Staff was kind.
