It is a very good place, they have spacious living rooms and kitchens and the building connects straight to the Far East Plaza. Only down points were that the jacuzzi did not work properly and the bathrooms were a little small. Otherwise a wonderful place to visit and stay for long trips.

We (two adults and two kids) stayed at a two-bedroom apartment Far East Plaza Residences for two weeks, in July 2018. The hotel is located very close to Orchard road and Orchard MRT, with only 5 minutes’ walk to the MRT station. Besides from the MRT, several bus lines pass by in front of the hotel or from Orchard Road, which will take you directly to Gardens By the Bay, Sentosa etc. As alternative to the MRT. If you are up to shopping, there are loads of options within walking distance. The hotel is connected to the five stories Far East Plaza shopping center. We did not find the shops here very interesting (mostly smaller local shops), but there are plenty of good local dining options in the center (mostly on 4th and 5th floor). If you are not up to local food, you will also fund Subway and KFC in the center. We stayed in a non-refurbished apartment, it could to with a remodeling but was functional and everything was working fine, including the a/c. One of the beds were quite hard, and we ended up switching the mattresses between the two bedrooms, as our kids are not so sensitive to the hard mattress. We used the swimming pools (which are located on the 7th floor) almost every day. There is a larger pool (0.9 to 2.0 meters deep) and a smaller children’s pool (0.5 meters deep), both very clean and with a nice temperature. The pool area is clean but also pretty bare.

The building is oldish and so is the facilities (gym, billiard room, sauna). The pool was good though, mostly only few people using it. We booked 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment itself was not bad, but one of the room has no window. Overall it's clean and not cramped. Washing machine, laundry rack, and ironing board are supplied. Considering the price we pay, it would be bettet if the toiletries and tea/coffee get stocked up when they do the clean every 2 days. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a shortcut to Far East plaza mall from the apartment. Ask the security person if you cant find it.
