➜ Very nice and helpful staff. You can book tours at the reception, request bus schedules.
Rooms are nice and clean. However, it is directly in the pedestrian zone with many restaurants, therefore somewhat noisy. But very central. The cable car, bus station and port are easily accessible from there.
➜ Nice little hotel. The hotel comprises several different houses in the old town of Funchal. So it can get a little louder in the evening. Our room was very spacious nicely furnished and with balcony. The service is excellent! The breakfast is good. Sausage, cheese, fruit etc with excellent buns.
