Tuk Tuk Hostel Hostel

Very dirty, we had all the end of uncovered health in the toilet (which is shared). Very noisy. Impossible to rest. I'm not coming back.

Very central location and just a minute's walk from the nearest bus/tram stop.
The dormitories are clean and the beds can be separated by curtains. The two bathrooms are not always 100% clean, but as soon as someone comes from the staff in the morning, it is cleaned again.
There is also a kitchen and the staff is friendly and in English you can also have a good conversation.
For about 10€ a night you really can't expect a 5* hotel, but the TukTuk Hostel is certainly not a bad choice.
The only "negative factor" is the lack of air conditioning, which makes it very warm in the rooms in summer.

No English speakers at the desk… the toilet was quite old and rusty. Everything was quite cramped. However, the location is excellent and In a very nice and central area, and the cheap price was worth the low quality. Definitely go there if your on a budget and don't mind spending a night or two in a low grade hostel I payed about 10€ a night!

We were only in Lisbon for 4 days and left the hostel after only 3 days. Unfortunately, the hostel couldn't do even the most obvious things. There were (to my knowledge) two apartments in which the rooms were allocated as hostel rooms. Each apartment (each 3 rooms) had its own bathroom, which was shared. When we arrived the shower did not go, the toilet had no toilet seat, the toilet of the other apartment was broken. It was a disaster! Even the rooms (at least our: double room) were natic. Carpets were dirty, without shoes we didn't want to walk around. After 3 days it was enough for us! The smell of the toilet, which wasn't always clean due to the sharing, moved into our room & that gave us the rest. We didn't have high standards: we wanted a place to sleep and take a shower, as we used to travel a lot, but even that couldn't be the tukTukHostel. Never again!
