Best and cheapest hostel in Lagos.

This little gem feels like home. It has all the elements to meet other travellers and have a great experience in Lagos and surrounding areas. Nicky and Hugo are great hosts. They know all the cool stuff to see and do and they offer some cool outings, too! There is a functional kitchen with all the good stuff, a lounge to hang out, bathrooms up and down stairs, and a roof top lounge. Beds are comfy and the price is right. I recommend Hutch to any travelling together or solo.

I stayed 2 nights here and they were nice and chill with good people. There are two bars below with loud music, so don't plan to go to sleep before they close at 2. The owner Tommy is super friendly and was just as involved in the hostel festivities as the travellers.

We had the best time here. Tommy, who owns the hostel, made us feel very welcome and happily introduced us to locals and nice places for food and drink. His welcoming attitude brings everyone staying at the hostel together, which makes it an ideal place for solo travellers as he introduced new guests to everyone. Every night here we had good night's out with other hostel guests.

Not too big, just right and with an amazing atmosphere. The family who runs the hostel are very friendly and caring.

Very friendly family-run hostel. The rooms, showers and bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Right in the heart of the town walking distance from the main square — it's perfectly located as it's close to the beach and local bars, restaurants and shops. There's also a small balcony in the kitchen which overlooks the town (wish I'd taken some photos! ). They also have a cafe as part of the hostel which serves incredible breakfast.

Recommended for the position, the presence of a public parking nearby, the cleaning of the premises and for the kindness and sympathy of Vasco the owner.

We had a really good time at this beautiful hostel. The bath and bedrooms are nice and clean and we had everything we needed.
The host ist so kind and lovely, that we‘ve almost felt like a part of his really nice family. Thank you so much! :)

Clean family environment. Walking distance from the beach. Nice kitchen, but it is closed from 11pm to 8 am.

Best place to stay if you are in Portimao, no contest! The location is superb and the people there are so welcoming and friendly. I'm definitely going back.

It's good and you have kitchen.

The staff are really nice and the gentelman there helped with my key. There are lockers for items, a huge outside area to relax, really clean washrooms, and tidy rooms with comfy matresses that I noticed. It's located in Lagos that I did not really discover but I was told of many caves and boat tours and saw the huge marina and the boardwalk by the water. The city has a large marina and an old style historical part of the city with cafes.

I booked very short notice (2 hours before arrival) and yet I got my room. The owner is really very nice, but she does not speak any English (therefore 1 star deduction) but she tries to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The kitchen is basic, is quite enough. The rooms are clean, but nothing special. Price — performance, however, is very good if you're just to sleep there anyway. Under the hostel is a bar where actually only (very nice) locals are!

I loved staying at Carlos and his wife's place a nothing was ever to much from them to do if you asked,, Like a home away from home. Love it, five stars isn't enough, clenence and just every thing supurbe,, See you soon carlos and celica.

Hostel is lovely with lots of private rooms (great for 2 friends). My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. They serve dinner on the rooftop (great view up there) and have a pub crawl each night that I would recommend doing it at least once! The staff were very helpful and gave us some fun suggestions for activities during the trip. Would definitely stay here again!

The owners were beautiful people, family dinners every night, breakfast is included. Such a great spot & so many great people would definitely recommend to any travellers.

Right in the old town. Nice friendly operation. Very good food. The sardines as well as the pizza were very good. Also, they were reasonable prices.

Pretty and inexpensive accommodation in Lagos. Unfortunately, the AC didn't have a working heating function in December, which is very uninhited on the chilly nights.
The adjoining ^ Cafè restaurant offers delicious international food. The location is very central, within walking distance of the EVA bus terminal.

Price performance all right!
Had the smallest room get under the roof for 2 people something tight but cuddly.
For this, ne roof terrace.
There was even a small breakfast including.
Negatively, I have to perform that the employee was very unkind and funny.
Otherwise super location and absolutely recommended!
