Well this is my second time staying at this resort and I always have a great time. I stayed in the vila and it was clean and had a lot off space. No noise from the strip just some noise from people coming home late but that to be expeted as its the party town. Pool was always cleaned every morning and the garden was well looked after. Was well worth the price. Some reviews are negative and put people off but I would say you need to stay here and judge it for your self. I will definitely come back here to stay.

I was, like most reviews, slightly worried about coming here. We stayed in the villa & it was clean, yes, a bit grubby, but absolutely fine. The pool was lovely & always kept clean. We didn't hear any noise from the strip, just young ones coming back late, but it was ok. Lots of food places, we are out every night for 6 nights to eat, not bad prices, good food, friendly staff. The wee train is €5 each for an all day ticket, old town is lovely & about half an hour away, beach is great too. So if you're thinking about coming here, come! Stay in the villa though.

Had a great time. Resort is right on the main strip. Lots of entertainment and places to eat. The staff were lovely and very friendly. Rooms were clean. Accomodation very authentic and quaint. 10 minutes walk from the sea. Plenty transport around. Supermarket 5 minutes walk from resort.

Fantastic spectacular shop for rental electric bikes comfortable to turn all over Albufeira.

Nice welcome many groups are greeted, lack of calm at night and night, QQ alcoholic neighbors day and night. Located in the lively area of Albufeira, to avoid if you want a quiet and relaxing beautiful pool however.

Really Good villa and by the strip. That's icing on the cake. Not good for young families or elderly, looking for some peace as neighbours can be a bit loud. Overall a great place to be for a few days.

We stayed here for a week starting 19th August 2017.2 adults 2 kids age 7 and 3. First thing to clear up the room was dated but it had a fridge freezer, cooker with oven, kettle, toaster, microwave, pots pans cups plates cutlery everything and it's own water heater and there was a working fan aswel also had a TV. We stayed in block 3 which seemed to be more towards middle aged couples so we had a quiet week, some rooms seemed a bit lively in block 1 but nothing mad. The staff where helpful and really friendly. The location is on the strip with a 10 minute walk to beach there is a steep hill going down onto beach. I would come back here in a heartbeat but at least 10 days to 2 weeks.

2 bed villa garden pool view. Enough room for 6 people to fit comfortable. Close to everything. And far enough to get away from the night life. Town shops/ bars right on the door. Music can be heard until about 1am and quite a lively night life. So if that is not ur thing not going 2 b good. House was clean. Basic but perfect for a break away. All appliances u need. Cooker/ microwave/ kettle/ toaster… Bed r again basic. Enjoy the stay here.

Friendly staff. Apartments are spacious and quiet. Private car park is very close to accomodation. Breakfast could be better. Overall was good regarding the cheap price payed.

Very nice holiday spot, lots to see and do in surrounding area Massive communal pool. Good for kids to run around where you can see them. Pool side villas and apartments are a good size with oven microwave, toaster and kettle provided also have aircon in each room. Free Wi-Fi near pool bar. Stag and Hen party's pass by so can be loud at times but doesn't cause a huge problem as there is on site security with 24 hour reception.

This is not a family resort! The rooms are very basic but clean. Very basic essentials in your rooms and very few of them. The beds are slabs of concrete with a mattress on top. The maids do a very bare minimum to clean etc. Apart from the pool and the beach there is very little else for the kids. Also offered drugs 6 times in two weeks from cocaine to hashish! Bars pester you to come in and 8 tourist shops! Cheap to eat but all bars offer the same food so gets boring very quickly.

Impudence!
The hotel is such a great audacity, who thinks to be able to make a nice holiday here is wrong. Rooms are OK, but that was also the only thing that was OK.
It starts that you have to pay a Caution of a total of €150 this is very unusual.
Then the breakfast that is no breakfast, you don't even get a buffet, only 2 buns, 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese, that's it. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The biggest problem is the English, you have to be really scared of those who just riot around, you can't sleep in peace. The police are here every night, absolutely inappropriate for children.
The place Albufeira is a very nice, only the hotel I can only penetrate from advise. Since at the end of the holiday not even his previously paid Caution again gets, although everything was alright all in all I can give this hotel only one star as the entire hotel was a impudence, I will go niewieder to this hotel.

Good resort and great quality/price.

Were there two weeks ago. The first room was potten dirty and the door lock was broken. Then got a so-called Villa.
Unfortunately, it was not much cleaner here. The kitchenette was really totally filthy and disgusting.
It smelled very musty… so after wet dog. Got the rug out because it was totally filthy.
We couldn't hang our clothes in the wardrobe because a sleeve came out here too.
It was also very cold and we had to ask for a heater… then got such a small electric heater. At least something…
The blankets with which we had to cover ourselves had stunk and had stains.
The rooms were not cleaned regularly. Had to put the trash in front of the door so that it was disposed…
Breakfast was only available from 9.30 a. M. So if you booked tours it fell flat. However, once in a while (it came down to who was sitting at the front desk) one evening before the breakfast for the next day… Unfortunately, a whole 3 out of 5 times did not work… there was the same breakfast every morning. 1 bun and 1 croissaint. 2 slices of ham and cheese. 1kleines package Margerine and small jar of strawberry jam…
The people at the front desk were sometimes very rude.
So absolutely no further recommend!

Average not expecting much for the price. Ideal location for the strip. Lots of pub's restaurants and nightlife within 2 mins walk. Would recommend for anyone looking for a great time drinking and dancing. Not for young families.

Adequate accommodation. Most people would consider it to need modernising but I found it okay. Beds were a little too uncomfortable for me but I am a bit over weight.

Great for the price. Customer service was decent, all polite and helpful. All the rooms are about 100m at most some being about 10m from the strip so its perfect for going out. They give you towels whenever you need more at reception and are only closed from about 3am — 6am. There is Wi-Fi at reception and by the pool which are free of use. The villas are the best bet and aren't much more costly. 2 times I have been and will probably return! And they still have my nike bag, wallet + my ID as I left in my room which they have agreed to post to me, very helpful. Only reason I would not give 5 is because it does need a bit of paint here and there.

Warm welcome and good quality price.

Brilliant bar and great sun trap to sit in with a cold pint watching the world go by. We went every day of our week's holiday. All the food and drinks are very reasonable priced and of excellent quality. Two of our favorites was the mega breakfast at only 6 Euros, and served with chips!, we definitely recommend the chicken and pork wraps be hungry though… they are huge!. All the staff are welcoming and go out their way to chat to you. The lady that was the chef was particularly friendly and not only did she make us welcome but our 2 dogs too, always had a piece of ham for them lol. This is very definitely a bar you should visit but don't leave it till your last day, looking forward already to going back next year.

Great place to stay. Beds could be a bit softer! Cleaner came every day,, staff very friendly and very spacious! Only problem was door to patio had a very low lock. Kids would be able to escape very easily if woke up before us!

Great rooms. Unbelievable low price. Great pool. Really friendly staff willing to help instdntly. Highly recommended. For groups or parts.

Very good location to the beach and Old town The weather is very good in december, the nights are cool.

Well located close to the sea… Very large swimming pool… complex important… 10 minutes from downtown. Close to a lane that takes you to Faro or the other side to Sagres and north to Lisbon.

Was pleasantly surprised. We had a great experience from start to finish. Beds were a bit uncomfortable but that would be the only complaint. Very good value for money.

We are on our last night of a weeks stay. When we arrived after booking a studio apartment, we were up graded to a 1 bed room apartment because 2 of the people with us were older and the lovely man at reception thought it would not be suitable for them. The apartment was spotlessly clean and cleanec every day. Fresh towels were provided daily and bed linen was changed mid week. We were very aprehensive about staying here after reading the reviews but would have no hesitation in coming back again.

Stayed there for one week. Not a bad hotel for the price for it location. The reception and apartment I stay in are not in the same build and any one could walk in say that I had very little trouble some banging door at night. Would stsy again for the same price.

Studio is dated but very comfortable. Maids keep everything clean and tidy. Well equipped with full cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster. TV with BBC 1 and ITV. It is November so it is much quieter. I would come back definitely this time of year.

TAKE NO NOTICE OF BAD REVIEWS, this place is basic but is everything you need for a great cheap holiday. The pool is huge, though not many sun beds. It's clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's located very close to the strip with supermarkets, restaurants and bars almost on your doorstep. The beach is gorgeous and clean, although it is at the bottom of a VERY steep hill so going back is hard going with a buggy, but there are little rickshaw taxis if you don't feel like trying to climb back up. All in all I would definitely recommend this resort.

Beautiful pool. Restaurants and shops right on the door step. Beach just a short walk away. Friendly staff. Large rooms with air con and adequate facilities. Clean and tidy. Will be returning.

Just back from vilanova resort was here for 10day nice resort. Enjoy our time here great from familys. Couples. Staff are nice we will be back do not belive all you read you need to try it for your self.

It is what it is. Cheap and right on the strip. Our Villa has been cleaned daily with fresh towels. Lots of stay and hen parties, but it's what you expect being in the location it is. It's not the most up to date but perfect for sleeping in. The pool is lovely but could do with more sun beds.

Basic spacious clean room. Central location for the new town. Perfect for a budget holiday.

Loved it both taxis and other services make getting around very easy even for me.

Very dated rooms, TV dangerously attached to the wall and balanced on a little shelf. Sheets not changed throughout the 7 day stay. Towels were only changed after speaking to reception twice. The only positives about the place was the proximity to The Strip and a nice swimming pool. Definitely wouldn't go back.

Just back from a 4 night stay and like most people that have read the reviews I was dreading it but honestly it was fine the room was clean. The maids came around twice during our stay and changed towels. It is really outdated but fine for its moneys worth.

To put it simply, don't go there unless you´re in your late teenage years and just want to get drunk, do drugs and get laid. The worst hotel I've ever visited. If I could, I would rate it with several "anti stars". Sleep is impossible. Mostly due to the drunk teenage groups who spend their nights roaming the area, screaming, singing, throwing things from the balcony, throwing up and banging on windows and doors. But also because there is no AC in the rooms, and no fans. Probably 35 degrees celcius in there at night. The surrounding areas are dark, lots of alleys, flooded with the before mentioned groups of drunk and/or high teenagers. Feels very unsafe, especially for women. The room itself was infested with cockroaches, the fridge and the freezer wasn't working properly, the TV wasn't working, the shutters in front of the windows were damaged, the doors and windows couldn't be locked in a secure manner. The interior holds the standards of refugee camps in Lebanon. The small terrace outside looked like a pigsty, with dirty furniture and a lawn that was more or less a pile of dirt, shrubs, pizza cartons, vomit, broken parasols etc. Surprised not to find an OD:ed prostitute out there. Stayed one night and called our travel agent who, luckily, managed to move us to a much nicer hotel.

NEVER TO RETURN! Budget but terrible experience cleaning Is anathema to the resort. Our room was not touched or cleaned for 3 days, this despite complaints at the reception desk were we where incredibly told that the cleaners had not the time.

Very good service, all necessary amenities, friendly.

Does what it says on the tin. Ideal location for strip. Big pool lots of space idealy suited to a younger crowd.

Very close to everything you need. Reasonable prices and great if you dont want to walk to far. Its right on the strip and the land train stop is just over the road to take you to the old town. Rooms are a bit dated but like I say quite cheap to stay here. Can be noisy at night with all the bars being next door.

Go here multiple times a year and have never been disappointed.

Basic, clean, not convenient to Old Town. Reception staff very helpful and polite, ideal for clubbers stag parties as it is on The Strip, with lots of bars, discos and restaurants, open to 4am.

Going in May for two weeks for the fourth time love the complex and surrounding area. Can't wait.

Booked here for one week studio apartment end of sept. Got to apartment late at nite opened door to dark dingy old fashioned room and a concrete bed in L shape with"mattress" on top. Thought I was in Mexican prison. Was given 1 bed apartment no balcony view to flat roof stayed nite in morning a diving school van arrived and they went praticing in the pool. Thankfully booked somewhere else and left. Wasnt only people who left two other couples over coming days left villanova and booked in where we were. Would recommend it to nobody.

Only single beds and very uncomfortable. Basic but sufficient. One star for cleanliness. One for location. Right on the strip.

Every year I go on 2 occasions, spring and fall. I always choose a villa and go with my daughters and my dogs. Staff were mostly of the cleaning staff. Possibility of making barbecue ;-).
