Clean but small room with a table that can be folded to the wall. Soap, hair and body shampoo is provided. For other hygiene needs standard to other hotels like toothbrush and toothpaste, you need to buy them at the counter. Advisable for quick stay.

Cheap. Staff is good. Room cramped and chintzy. Ok if you are on a limited budget.

It's a nice place for a quick night stay. Reasonable price. Excellent location. But like flying a budget airline. No frills. There's a safe box in the room but no water, coffee, glasses cups or anything. You need to buy that in a store someplace. Great location though. Between three malls. Also nice restaurant attached. You get your free breakfast there. Polite staff.

Good hotel. Clean and pleasant. SM downtown is 2 minute walk. My only concern is that parking lot area is too small. Only 6 cars at a time can accommodate.

Upon arriving in the hotel, the fire alarm went off and the front desk lied to why it went off, the rooms are cramped and strangely moist, some rooms smelled like cigarettes even if they had a no smoking rule and the lobby is dark. I thought I was entering a love motel. Only positive thing about this place is that it is next to SM and the restaurant below called Circa serves great food.

Hotel staffs were all very accommodating. They were all approachable and the facilities are clean. Room is good for an Overnight stay. The only thing I'm wondering is that why there is no phone for each room? Good thing it's beside SM Cagayan. So it's POPPED for me! Nice staying experience.

Great location right next to SM CDO Downtown Premier. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities, however, like the lobby and the air conditioning, have definitely seen better days. It was very warm and stuffy when I was there for 2 days. The facade also looks quite rundown.

From the outside it does not look great needs exterior paint but the inside area the lobby the rooms are great. Before I moved to Cagayan de Oro City I staid here about 15 times. Great rooms good service you won't be disappointed.

Great place. Located at beside of malls… The best here is accessible… I think a heart of the city. They accommodate your personal concerned by there services offer.

Good location with parking area. Beside SM downtown, near Centrio and Gaisano and at the back is Lim ket Kai and shopwise. Nice small space with window, very comfy bed, cable TV, aircon, safety deposit box, hot and cold shower, complete toiletries and a hair blower. Service is good, security is impressive and they are willing to assist. Housekeeping is fast. However, there's no cabinet, chairs and complimentary water. Rooms are not sound-proof. A little scrub of comfort rooms to make it spick-and-span. Also, they don't have family rooms. Knowledge with tourist destinations could be improved since when we asked directions, receptionist seems unfamiliar with the jeepney routes. They won't give OR when you book online.

I love this Hotel! The Bellman is very Hospitable. The Hotel is Clean and Good! There is Enough Parking space For those Have Cars!

Although popular, I don't understand why? Personally I was not impressed. That being said, the restaurant attached to it is excellent. I had the best penne boulinase I have eaten in recent memory. My wife order steak and vegetables, done to perfection. Would dine there again anytime.

It is value for money… at the discounted price of 1, 250. It has the minimum basic facilities we require… cable tv, aircon, hot water, strong Wi-Fi. And very clean. However, it has no electric kettle, no free drinking water which I think they can provide at very small additional costs. The location is beside the major malls! love it!

Near a lot of malls so it's very convenient to shop while staying here. It is also near the capitol. The hotel houses a very good restaurant and bar.

My favorite Red Planet branch. The staff are very accommodating. Excellent job cleaning the room as well. The restaurant downstairs has excellent food. The hotel is right next to SM Mall, a 5min walk away from other commercial areas. Quick suggestion: change the liquid soap in the toilet. It smells like liniment :)

For somebody who travels often for work related matters, this is an excellent hotel. No frills hotel but got all I needed; comfy sleep, good shower experience, good cable TV selections and clear & crisp at that, cool split type airconditioner, neat and tidy room, good Wi-Fi, a reasonable rate, and great location. I usually travel solo and a backpacker/duffel type of traveller so this hotel set-up suits me fine. I have small issues on soundproofing as audible noise can be heard. But overall, I like this hotel.

Stayed last November 2016. Great room with affordable price shower would be the best experience for me because they have the rain kind of tip shower. Would definitely checkout for red planet hotel in every place I visit.

Rooms are small but comfortable, it would be nice to have a bit more sound proofing within the building. Staff is very attentive and helpful. There are 3 jolli bee restaurants in walking distance but the Circa next to the front door is top tier.

Building is along the highway, which makes it accessible to the malls and other establishments. Felt so secured with the card as our access in the elevators and room.

You got what you pay for. They don't have a cabinet and the room is quite small so if you don't like that then this hotel is not for you. I like the convenience of using their app to contact their reception. They also provide safety deposit box in each room for your valuables.

I have been to so many hotels in cdo, some are too expensive but the bed, pillows, bed sheets and comforters are lousy But with Red Planet Hotel, I am very satified especially with the bed, pillows, comforters and bed sheets — which is very important for me since I need to have a good rest after a days work. Very soft, clean and smells good. The room is clean and smells good, bathroom is perfect, shower, hot and cold water very very satisfied. Everything is almost perfect except the towels — very hard. Overall score 10

Clean room, good air conditioning, reasonable price, good bathroom. Bedroom is not large, but adequate. Restaurant at front of hotel is quite good. Very reasonable rate for a good standard of hotel.

Comfortable. Walking distance to LimKetKai Mall and Ayala mall and soon SM Mall. Very affordable.

Stayed in this hotel in October 22-24, 2015. I'm supposed to write my comment while i'm there but I was just too busy to scribble some notes as I work at the project site. As a businessman and traveler at that, I should know my expectations from every hotel that I stayed in and consider my home away from home. Anyways, these are all I can say about this hotel. PRO's — On-line reservation was easy and personalized text message confirmation is sent promptlu. — Check-in is professionally handled by Front desk officers therefore no long waiting in the counter. — The hotel lay-out is very straight forward and even sunlight in elevator exits are considered so you don't feel cramped in a small despite knowing that the hotel is not that big. — Hallways are clean — The room I had is not as big but very functional. I stayed in a room (RM815) with a queen size bed and I find it very comfortable. — The shower room is clean with hot water and strong water pressure. CON'S (but tolerable) — Toiletries (which is normally I bring my own anyway). They only have a body cum hair wash and small soap. — Water, coffee and a nice but expensive working table normally seen in expensive hotels. Suggestion — I think to the least, they should provide each room an electric kettle where-in I can do my tea before sleeping or my coffee, in the morning. It's always nice to begin your day with something hot.

I love the place. It's secured, modern, clean and affordable. I don't think cafeteria is needed because establishments like Lim Ket Kai and Centrio Mall are just a walk away from the hotel. Also, the staffs are great and the lobby of the hotel is nicely done. Good job. I think the downside is the view around the hotel. :).

Staffs are friendly. Very accommodating. Clean Room. Nice view if your room is on the left side facing east. Bad part is no dinning area where you can order something to eat. Breakfast is excluded! Tsk.

Great accommodations, and located in the heart of Cagayan de Oro. Only two downsides — no cafeteria or restaurant, and not much of a view.
