Great location just a 2 minute walk to the beach. The room was clean and air conditioning worked great! The breakfast was also really yummy. I'd start here again!

Sorry I dont have time to detail how good is this place. Me and my friends enjoyed la union because we were able to choose the right hotel. Its cheap and okay to spend the whole night. Safe as well.

The beach in front of the resort is good however the place is smaller than I expected. It looks better in pictures. I didn't like the fact that we have to rent everything like the fan, utensils etc. Which should be included in the room.

Our stay here was not that bad after all. Although there were bad reviews from Facebook, we had a comfy stay in here. There may be some features that shows that the building is 'not new' but Costa Villa is a wallet-friendly place to stay. The images were taken on the shoreline just beyond Costa Villa's walkway access to the beach (though I believe surfing spots are 5 to 10 minute walk from here).

Price is affordable. Place is big enough for family outing. There is only a problem with their water supply. We have to wait for more than an hour for water to come before we could use the showers. That was in the evening. After breafast the following day, we discovered that there's no water supply again. So we have to checkout and find some other place where we could have a decent shower.

If you want to have a budget-friendly stay in La Union, staying here in Costa Villa is the perfect choice. Nestled next to Flotsam and Jetsam, this hotel offers air-conditioned villa and standard room accommodations. They also have a restaurant on the 2nd floor which serves breakfast and dinner. Costa Villa offers surf lessons and they have huts for you to stay in the beach front.

Giving this place a 4.5. The resort is great! It's serene, not a lot of people around and pretty budget friendly. We got 2 rooms for less than 4k. They don't have a bidet but it's not really a huge thing. The view of the beach is amazing though, specially at sunset. The chef in the Mexican fusion resto on the 2nd flr is really good. Her cooking was a amazing and super cheap for the quality.

Average resort. Aircon was cold but the blankets were very thin. Bathroom had hot water.

Overall experience was good. Staff are friendly. The place is near the beach. Our room was located inside the the place where there is no cellular signal both Globe & Smart so you'd have to out to get a signal. Anyway, would recommend this place to friends and family.

The place is not bad. You get a basic room and can use the outside kitchen. Prices are very high for what they offer. And it's far from the town where things and surf are happening.

This is one of the best and affordable Resort in San Juan, La Union. The owners are very accommodating. Plus, the restaurant upstairs the Resto Sabroso got the best food in town. Very underrated but simply the best! Make sure to order the sexy hot wings, Ilokano fusion pizza, churro ice cream and mudshake! mmmyum.

Location is good. It is near the Urbiztondo beach which is popular for surfing. Just 3 minute walk to the hi-way where you can hail a jeep going to San Fernando or San Juan. Our standard room is clean and it is located in front. The hot and cold shower in the bathroom is working fine. I think the only problem is the weak flow of the water in the bathroom, maybe due to the number of users. The AC is working fine too but a bit noisy but we were able to get a goodnight sleep. They offer complimentary breakfast too but you don't have a choice for your "SILOG" meal. When we avail our free breakfast they only have Bangus-silog. Nonetheless, it is a good resort for the cheap price. You get what you paid for. Good for a weekend getaway.

I don't know how this resort got 3 stars. It is cheap, yes. But the rooms are NOT clean. The walls have large cracks, the bed has a 4 inch mattress, the door knobs are destroyed you can peep through the door knob. The CR looks very dirty and the door has holes. We tried refunding for our booking, they refunded it but the person in charge there talked to us with great sarcasm and no professionalism and said that we cannot go back there anymore and we can't rent another room.

Its a good place for simple vacation at low price pang masa po talga kaya subok na.

I'm not sure how this place receives 3 stars, it barely deserves 1. We booked two rooms for one night, for I'm happy that it wasn't longer. Here's a list of complaints I have with this motel. Filthy, smelly, only a bottom sheet provided by the hotel, no toilet paper?, unsafe, dated, small rooms. 1st pic is of the bathroom sink fixture which wasn't connected to the sink, when on, waste water leaks all over the floor. 2nd pic is the front door lock, I think an 8 year old could break into this room, which means you'll be carrying anything of value when you leave your room. (phones, computers, passports, money, etc. ) 3rd pic shower fixture, mostly clogged by calcium, didn't lock in position, and basically connected to a shower stall that was equally filthy. 4th pic is of out chair in the room, disgusting… DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Spend a little more and stay in a safe, clean, modern place.

This is the most affordable accommodation in Urbiztondo area. The two storey villa is very spacious and equipped with a stove and a refrigerator. You may also use their cottage near the beach shore.

Lacking simple facilities like wall sockets, faucet and a lavatory inside the toilet area and no proper aircon drain which made the balcony floor slippery.

The place is very clean. The staffs are very accommodating. The location is near the beach and the national highway. There are also several cafe and restaurants situated near the area.

Very Poor. Tons of Bed bug unable to slept, Wild spider No pest-control, Too Expensive, uter waste of money, No Hygienic Toilet, Frequent power cut.

Giving it 5 stars for Resto Sabroso. Gave me one simple special bday celebration dinner for me and my family. Thanks.

Value for your money. Very good for a family or group trips. Room is what you pay for and the air conditioning is good. Staff are okay. The place has a small swimming pool. The free meals in the morning is very bad and you don't have a choice. They don't have a beachfront but you can walk to it in 5 minutes. Parking is available in front of the hotel. The beach is very good for surfing lessons but after 6 is closed. You can arrange to have a campfire at the beach that I really enjoyed.

Value for money. Affordable bed and breakfast near the beach.

Toilet and rooms were very small. Needs further cleaning and maintenance. food compensates our stay as it was good and staffs prepared it well.

We booked that hotel based on the photos on their website. However, when we arrived there, the room allocated for us was worse than a room that I have seen even in a hostel. It was not a room in the photos like separated flats, more it was like a room in a prison, there were rooms located in a different place behind the reception. So, do not be mistaken by the rooms in the photos. It was noisy and it stinks. The surrounding area was miserable and it left me an impression that it was not safe. It is definitely not suitable for families. They charged half of the price before we had arrived there and when we said them the room was not like the rooms in the photos and we want refund, they refused and they said "these (on the website) were different flats not the rooms we showed you" and they did not refund. And for the prison like room, they charged us around 3000 Peso (65 Dollar) which was overly high. Definitely do not book before you see. If you want to go there with a family, NEVER go there…
