Our family's first time at Awesome Hotel! Travelled with a 3 year old. Our lovely stay started right upon arriving when we drove up their driveway and were greeted by staff and the view of the pool and ocean right from the lobby. POOL: Even just the pool is a reason to come back! My son loved the kids area in the pool! Our family stayed here a few nights and we practically just set up camp by the pool the whole time. Beautiful view of ocean and sunsets. Part of the pool always gets some shade so you really can just stay all day. Also swam at night! Swam laps and soaked in the jacuzzi. One afternoon I was relaxing in one of the deck chairs and fell asleep. Husband sat and read his book. They have a sprawling green lawn right in front of the beach. ACCOMMODATIONS: Rooms are spacious and very clean. High ceilings, lots of natural light. Big comfy beds. Sofa and coffee table which I used as extension of closet. Also had a zoom meeting there and internet was good. Includes safe and mini fridge. Bathroom has modern amenities. The toilet is like those Japanese ones that has controls for washing and drying haha. Wish I had their bathroom mirror at home! FOOD: Liked the chicken satay, Vietnamese pho, tempura, beef gyudon, sunny side up eggs always perfect. Lots of fresh fruit. Beef tapa, the pickled veggie side deserves a mention! Big chunky potato wedges (also good dipped in some satay sauce leftover). Healthy breakfast, and from their cafe the coffees, esp the affogato and macarons.

Had our wedding there. Not recommendable. They had increase there rates (wedding package and room rates) without informing us beforehand even though we had meeting prior to the event. Rates from their website are not updated. The money making scheme is audacious. They have 10% discount for room rates as part of a complimentary for the wedding but will charge a "premium pricing" as additional for weekends and special events (the irony). They have in house rules such as "no bringing of food and drinks from outside", and would charge corkage fees even if its eaten within the corners of the room you booked including the amenities and during the event itself.

The location directly on the beach is perfect. The staff and the food were fantastic. We are definitely coming back.

Last Holy Week we were informed that we can use the swimming pool by paying 1000 per person with 750 pesos consumable to the restaurant. Once we arrived the concierge told us that 1000 pesos is only intended for swimming no more consumable 750 for the resto. An exaggerated price for 5 hours swimming. Considering that we are 10 all in all. We came all the way from manila just to experience awesome but we end up disappointed.

Awesome Hotel is really awesome! It's a perfect place to stay. The function hall is wide, comfy and great. The rooms are always kept clean. And of course the staff are all very nice and accomodating. We will definitely come back ❤️

We have a corporate rate in this hotel for our long stay (normally about 2 to 3 weeks), a room that is good for 3. It turned out that the 2nd and 3rd person have additional room charge of P1, 200 per person per night. AWESOME right? So here's the thing… they wouldn't tell you in advance, masusurprise ka na lang. Great! Definitely not going to stay here next time. To my colleagues, we can find a better place to stay.

Awesome indeed. We stayed here for 3 days. Food is nice, portioning is generous at a reasonable price. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Room and bath are clean. Breakfast is plated but in large portion. We ordered Awesome and Australian breakfast. It can feed 2 adults and 2 kids. Pool is clean. Awesome is in beach front. Nice view as well. One of the best hotels in La Union.

The place is really awesome. Very relaxing. The staff are friendly. They assist my husband who wants to go for a fishing. Very accomodating. And the food super sarap esp. The pizza. Wow! thumbs up! We will come back.

Place is great. But it will be so much better when it's finally finished.

Quite expensive for what you get. The booking through Agoda was messed up. I had booked a family room with 3 queen beds and they gave me a room with 2 beds. They fixed it and gave us another (no view) room and charged me extra. No sea views from the front garden either as it was under construction. For 190 USD per night I expected much much more. We went next door for a sunset dinner at the German Bistro another resort which was very nice. Next time I will book there.

My first entree was much too spicy, couldn't eat it. Ordered another entree, took a couple of bites and found a dead fly in it. The manager wouldn't accept responsibility for it. She said the fly got in the food after it left the kitchen. However, we didn't see any flies in the whole area. Her general attitude was very upsetting. We vowed not to return.

Nice hotel but the beach is gone due wave action supposedly from a typhoon. See pic below. Wish they would have updated their webpage to alert customers. I would have not stayed there. Both this hotel and the Final Option Beach Resort next door do not have beach access at this time. Food in the afternoon and evening is very good when the head chef is on duty. We had the sushi boat it was awesome. Breakfast was average and only Breakfast items available until 11am. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Good aircon. Water pressure and hot water was a nice find for filipino hotel. Internet speed was 5Mbps on the hotel Wi-Fi and 20Mbps on Globe 4GLte on my cell. Cignal Sat TV service in the rooms.

Food is undeniably delicious! Super recommended to try their menu here. Everything is delicious and worth it. The rooms are just normal, no theme or anything but it is cozy and relaxing. Beach front is great. Not crowded and can be good for surfing. If you want privacy you may want to consider this hotel.

I particularly love this hotel. The beds and pillows were soft. You could just stay in bed the whole day. Ammenities offered is good. Food service is also ok. And since the hotel is quite far from the surfing area of San Juan, you could have the beach all by yourself.

Has the best beachfront of all hotels in the area with a nice lawn and some cabanas right before you get on the sand. Direct access to the beach, great "breakfast" view (and all-day view) with waves crashing upfront, neat, and quiet. You got the beach (and surf) all to yourself. Better sand quality in that area and clean waterfront. Accommodation was also good and there was also a nice hotel with a good Bistro beside it. The only downside is the water jets in the pool were not working at the time we were there and that there was a smell in our room that would not go away. Other than those, it's totally great overall (compared to the other popular ones known in the area).

Reception staff are friendly and efficient. Restaurant crew are friendly. Food is really food. Room is great, clean, nice bath, clear TV channels, good view and shoreline. I will come back here if I go on a north luzon road trip.

Must try their dinakdakan pizza! I came all the way from Baguio just to try it and it was great. I'll come back again to get it. Their food was tasty with a variety to choose from. They also offer Japanese food. Price is just right. Friendly staff.

Despite the quirky name, I absolutely enjoyed this hotel! The check-in was quick and easy due to the friendly and accommodating nature of the front desk attendants. The room was cozy as well as comfortable. The food was delicious, and the beachfront location was perfect. My only complaint, just because I'm a clean freak, is that the bedsheets could use some cleaning. Other than that, this hotel really does live up to its name. The whole experience was absolutely awesome!

Awesome Hotel really did live up to it's name. Complimentary drinks were served to us on arrival which was much appreciated after the journey there. Our luggage was carried to our room which was large and very clean, it had all the creature comforts including refrigerator, cable TV, room safe and even a hair dryer in the modern style bathroom. We then enjoyed an amazing selection of sushi from the Norwegian Sushi Boat (which took us two attempts to finish) and a bottle of lovely, cool, crisp Chardonnay while watching the ocean and enjoying the breeze from our table in the spacious restaurant. We then enjoyed swimming and refreshments at the pool bar. In the evening we decided to eat some of the local Filipino dishes such as Lechon Kawali (deep fried pork) and Chop Suey (mixed vegetable stir fry). The vegetables were very fresh and tasty, and the pork was truly cooked to perfection. After dinner there was live music to enjoy until sadly our day was over and we retired to have a great night's sleep.

Nice place. Hot showers. Clean etc. Bigger rooms than others. Wish that the balcony lights turn off at night. Staff are a bit too stiff and rigid.
