Staff are friendly but the place is so poorly maintained. We can’t even swim to the pool so just left and spent the day elsewhere.

Nice resort for small escape!

Vitton Beach Resort is pet friendly, they have clean and big rooms with hot and cold shower, nice balcony facing the sea, Ample parking space inside the premises, safe and secured, well maintained swimming pools, clean beachfront, the restaurant is open so you expect flys while eating but the waiter brought some lit candles to ward them off! All their crew were friendly and accommodating, Looking forward on our next vacation stay with Vitton Resort. 👍 Thank you 👍

Beach is not really swimmable, but the view is okay. Good for relaxation. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Been here in the past year. Everything about this place got better. Open space front view of the beach can even get a massage. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Great stay for the right price.

Last 2017 we spent a 3 day and 2 night at this beautiful Paradise vitton resort, quite far from but worth it to be accommodated by welcoming staff and we enjoyed the beautiful sunset also we had a relaxing massage they offer.

Clean Rooms, Rustic, Friendly Staff, Food is great Not your luxury type of resort. Room rates are quite high on its category/class. Overated I might say. A farm of Jelly Fish on the beach in the morning till 11am. Sewage and canals are directly linked to the Beach that cause foul smell specifically in Woodland Beach Resort. Kindly Clean the water of both Swimming POOL please…

Food is great. Staff’s very nice and helpful too.

We really enjoyed our stay! I highly recommend this place to your family & friends. They have a Bar and Resto, Spa with a view (and Wi-Fi lol). The tourism office is also near which you can coordinate to rent a boat or go whaleshark (Butanding) watching. There are lots of foreigners! The place is safe and the staff are accomodating.

The resort was great! Walking distance to the whale shark centre where we booked our trip. The staff was nice and the rooms were okay. Food was nice but only a lot of things were out of stock.

I didnt feel the hospitality of the staff esp the front desk. Seems like she doesnt know the area around or maybe she is not in the mood to help out. Not worthy of the price range for the de luxe single room. Dont get me wrong, the place has a lot to offer, can be improve both the services, the landscape and the staffs attitude. About the beach, dont go for a night swmming. Why? check my photos. Anyway I enjoy my stay, why? coz its game 1 of nba finals 2018. PS: no Wi-Fi in the room as per websites claim.

Great place to stay for an affordable and friendly environment. The property is very well kept, and the rooms are simple but very clean. The pool is open 24 hrs, which is un heard of in most resorts. I have not stayed in resorts all over the world, but I feel if I only had 2 weeks to stay anywhere, I would want to spend them here. The staff and management, are very friendly and respectful. Personally, it was an added bonus to see the well mannered stray dogs, who stopped by for a scratch and pet. If you do stay, must dos are: See the whale sharks, have a banana shake, get an order of dynamite (if you like spicy food), have a drink at the bar and say hi to Frank the bartender. There is also tricycles down the street that can take you into town. Fyi the internet isn't the best, but theres a little store by the dive shop 2 mins walk, where you can either buy a sim card or re load your current sim. There is no ATM on sight, so you have to go into town about 10 mins away. Also, the Vitton runs on cash and not visa, so keep that in mind. This place is perfect for backpackers, or people who only have a couple weeks in the Philippines. Although personally, I feel like I could have stayed there the whole season. P. S I miss this place.

My family and I stayed in two double deluxe room for three days, and it was great! The staff were sooo nice, the place was clean and beautiful esp the pool, the kids loved the pool! The only issue we had was the food, its a bit expensive.

Awesome place, serene, silent, clean and with best views of the sea, sunset. Whale shark interaction is a must do activity here. Good value for money. Swimming pool, restaurants, staff are nice here.

The place was tranquil. No chaotic sounds from other guest. Friendly and accomodating staff especially in the reception area. The bartender Marlon is very much appreciated by us tending to our new fave cocktails from their bar. My kids like the pool and place as it was not crowded even if it’s fully booked.

This is where you want to stay if you end up in donsol. Excellent staff. Very reasonable price. If you want a budget option stay in the "woodland" half. They have dorm rooms and cheaper fan rooms. Which were perfectly nice. "Vitton" side has aircon etc. Food is pretty good. Cocktails aren't that great tho.

Everything about this place is beyond impressive. No wonder it’s filled with both local and foreign tourists. Our family was here less than a week ago and we had such an enjoyable and wonderful time that we almost regretted booking for only a night. It ain’t a 5-star resort yet the services were fantastic — from the friendly and warm staff, to the super neat and laid-back surroundings, beautiful sunset, lovely garden, even the dogs were friendly! My siblings and I separately posted pictures in social media and each of us has been getting inquiries and we’ve been insistingly recommending it to friends since then! One piece of advice though, a night is not enough!

Brilliant place to stay and do all the things in the area… i. E whale sharks and diving. Great to lounge around, many happy hours :)

Service was excellent, the food was great and the place was so clean. The 4hr drive we had was worth it. Will definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

Very romantic place to relax together with your special someone. You can interact with the whaleshark in the middle of the sea.

The resort is beautifully landscaved and there are two ways to dine. The rooms are very clean and typical of the country. From the spa to the pool and bar, there are various opportunities to relax. The whale shark tours can be booked about 100 metres away.

Best Resort in this area for the money. Two separate resorts owned by one owner. Vitton a bit nicer. Reasonable price. Wonderful staff. No refrigerator. Generator for Brown outs! Bar and restaurant. Would recommend. Spend the little extra and stay here.

I stayed in the hotel and the service was good! Only few minor issue but nonetheless they were able to provide the services I need during my stay.

Large space for parking. Staff are nice and accommodating. Rooms are a bit old but well kept. And I like that they have a veranda overlooking the pool. We loved the pool! Clean and warm.

I think it's actually two resorts, Vitton and Woodland, that merged. The room prices are different in each. Woodland side has the pool, restaurant, bar, massage area and a better view. The staff were just ok except for one waitress who was very friendly. Food was good. Wifi is only available near the restaurant and even there it was very difficult to get a connection. The pool was quite dirty, the ocean had better visibility.

5th of May — The whole hotel accommodation was great during our 3 days stay here in Don Sol. The staffs were very kind, the rooms were good (just a simple room without TV, Mini Ref, or safe lock to have with), there was also a big pool until 6 feet, a spa and 2 restaurants. (BUT, you cannot swim apparently due to the big population of jellyfish around the shore. ) Would be great if the room will be re-decorated like from the ceilings etc. ). Overall stay in this hotel would conclude to a 4 star rating! :D.

Perfect location to see the whale sharks. Facilities are nice, but a bit dated. The water pressure in the rooms can be hit or miss, but for the price, it is great. The only real complaint, smoking is allowed virtually everywhere. It would be nice to have a non-smoking section, especially at the restaurant.

There are two locations, the Woodland location is a bit further up the road away from town just past BarAcuda. That is were I stayed. I stayed in the backpacker rooms, 500pesos for a dorm bed in a 3 bed dorm. Pit pricey for a dorm bed but worth it. The place is a proper resort with nice gardens a pool and a bar/restaurant.
