Right beside the Donsol tourism center where you can book whale shark. Food at the restaurant has good Filipino dishes. Great service by Annie in booking our transport from airport to resort and advising us on how to get to Legazpi. Rooms are simple and functional.

Even though we visited during the off season, we were genuinely impressed by the level of service and attention to detail. The staff were consistently helpful and, to our surprise, the full menu was available throughout our stay. There was an excellent range of dishes that catered equally well to Filipino tastes and Western preferences, all prepared to a high standard.
The view from our room was a real highlight—an ideal vantage point to enjoy the evening sunsets, which were truly memorable. Even the arrival of a typhoon failed to dampen the experience, instead adding to the atmosphere and sense of escape.
The pool and surrounding gardens are beautifully maintained and create a calm, inviting environment. The staff went out of their way to assist us, including happily arranging local activities and offering helpful suggestions. Overall, the combination of scenery, service, and hospitality made for a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay.

The location is ok but the service and attitude of the owners is terrible.
After booking online with booking. Com and checking in the owner arrived at our room at about 8:30pm demanding further payment of 500 peso for the AC or she would throw out of the resort.
When I showed her the booking receipt with the room details including AC she refused to acknowledge or honour it.
I found this behaviour agressive and exceptionally rude as well as unnecessary do not stay here they are dishonest.
As well as this there was hot water advertised which did not work. When we asked if it could be fixed they shrugged their shoulders and basically said too bad and did nothing.
It felt like extortion and it was, I have travelled extensively for many years and have stayed in a lot of different hotels/resorts but have never encountered such nasty and dishonest management.
Don’t stay here.

Our worst stay on the Philippines, rooms are dirty and worn down. Bathroom is disgusting. The laundry turned two of my white shirts yellow. Food was bad to okayish. The staff was friendly. There are better and cheaper hotels in that area, so we changed after two nights.

The resort itself was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature and offering a relaxing atmosphere. The beach was clean, the views were stunning, and the overall vibe was perfect for anyone who just wants to unwind and enjoy some quality time.
We truly had a memorable stay, and I highly recommend Woodland Beach Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with amazing service. Thank you to all the staff for making our vacation so special!

Vitton resort is really nice and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are ok and food is of high quality.
Very close to the diving center and whale shark information center.
To get to town you can simply take a tricicle and pay like 1$

I stayed in the dorm room. Very basic but the location is great. The staff are also lovely. Incredible value for money with a beachfront bar and pool included.

The best thing about this place is the proximity to the Whaleshark Center. Other than that, if you're looking for a beachfront property to actually enjoy the beach, this is not that area. The rooms are also in need of renovation. There were ants in our room which was a hassle because we had our one year-old with us and her formula kept being attacked by black ants. They sent someone to spray the room but the ants keep on coming back. There's Wi-Fi but only in public areas, not in the room. Don't even get me started about the restaurant and their service. Not worth your money.

The place was good in the area though we weren’t able to see the whale shark due to the weather.
It had a restaurant and pool in the vicinity. Staff were friendly and we were able to avail of the room massage.
One thing for improvement perhaps will be the availability of the Wi-Fi in the rooms :)

We had a great time here! The resort is good and the food is quite budget friendly, which is amazing for a resort. The rooms are basic, but nothing to complain about. The people are extremely friendly.
The main reason for coming here is because of the location just next to the Bicol dive shop. Great place for diving and whale shark tours.
There we did our open water training (lovely) and booked three whaleshark tours. No whalehsark in the end. They are definitely in the area though because we got a few close calls, but since they are wild animals (not like in Oslob) sightings are never guaranteed. Would definitely recommend the place and I hope you are more lucky than we were.

I had a comfortable stay here, some of the rooms need updating but it was still clean and comfortable. It’s in a good location close to the whale shark interaction centre and dive centre.
The staff in the reception (I’m sorry I forgot the names) were so helpful when I needed anything.
Only downside is due to the typhoon the spa was not open but they do have an on call masseuse.

Great stay. Comfy bed, especially for the Philippines. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is top-notch — some of the best enjoyed in the country for us, great price and big portions! Loved the pool!

Very comfortable and convenient, especially since we went scuba diving and whale shark snorkeling at Bicol Dive Center; the dive shop is right next door.

We stayed there for one night and took 4 rooms. Rooms are dirty, too many bedbugs/surot, Cockroaches, ants and assorted bugs. I would not recommend to anyone to stay here.
Even the staff knows their resort is not good. I was told its under new management and the child of the original owner took over which made the place bad.

The resort was mediocre—not particularly remarkable, but not the worst along the coast either. The overall setting was pleasant, but several issues detracted from our experience.
The walkways and paths are partially covered in tiles that become extremely slippery when wet, posing a hazard to guests. In similar lines, the staircase leading to our room was poorly maintained and very wet during rainfall, further increasing the risk of accidents.
The restaurant menu was another disappointment, with many dishes listed but frequently unavailable.
Overall, while the resort has potential, these safety concerns, lackings, and inconsistent offerings significantly impact the quality of the stay.

I'm happy to say that the place is extremely PWD friendly! Not a lot of resorts offer that accessibility that's why, Kudos to the resort for considering people on wheelchairs. Me and my family had a lovely stay last weekend, and the food at their restaurant was good! The people were nice and helpful, and I wish we stayed longer.
