Great hostel with an amazing walking tour of Lima with Louis! Best part of the trip!

Great hostel! Recommend the walking tour with louis. Food was boss!

The staff doesn't give a bullocks about who they let in or even yourself. Approximately 2 weeks ago I was victim of a stolen wallet whithin 3 hours of my check-in. I notify the staff and they didn't do anything about it they had access to camera surveillance to see who went in and out of the room but never bother their cellphones were more important. For Gods sake you can be stab in you room in the showers and they'd still wouldn't do anything thats how safe they made me feel. Three shifts 3 different people and I was never taken Serious midnight shift guy overweight with a beard even laugh about this serious matter like if I was delusional. It was a nightmare I had to change my flight my credit cards my cash IDs were on that wallet and I still got charge the next day which I think it was unfair they would not let me out I dont know if its the country but they were literally crying over 11 dollars I had no money thank God 2 guys that stayed there help me pay God bless them both. Now that I think about it no call was made to the authorities or Police which I think its kinda shady I dont know if they're working together and its a scam they do to fellow travelers. If you are ever in my shoes you'll notice that warm welcoming fakeness its all cherry blossoms when you check-in but as soon as you have a problem or inconvenient in that place you're in your own.

Excellent, we could not have stayed in a better hostel with my girlfriend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed 4 days and were the best we could have spent in Lima, the breakfasts are super full (with fruit juices and scrambled eggs). Every Night is thematic and you can eat or drink something in particular, as well as take salsa lessons. The truth is that if I come back to Lima, I will stay in that hostel without hesitation, and if I get to visit Cusco again or Paracas, I will also stay in a Kokopelli.

The location is very good. The staff is very friendly. The cost is good considering the area. Cleaning and maintenance details can be improved.

A good hostel with good pricing. Not the best layout for bathrooms, and seems to be pretty chill most of the time. Although I didn't "love" this hostel, it's a decent option. Kokopelli in Cusco, on the other hand, is amazing. Well worth staying at Kokopelli Lima for a night or two to pick up the 20% discount at Kokopelli Cusco.

Not as good as other kokopellis, especially like one in Cusco. The beds didn't have plug sockets like others. One of our beds was missing a pillow because somebody had checked in two girls on one bed (clearly paying half the price) and gave them one of the pillows. The hostel was unable to provide a spare pillow and we ended up sleeping on a blanket. Didn't even think of giving us a pillowcase. The room is above an Irish bar which is very loud.

Great hostel in a really good location! The rooftop is such a nice spot to chill out. Make sure you to the walking tour with Louis! He’s a legend and took us to the best ceviche place in Lima! YUM!

After being in Kokopelli Cusco, I had high hopes. The private rooms here were rought. Small and so, so noisy. The private room we were given the first night, on a Thursday, was the loudest room I've ever been in. It's right above a bar. That's not the hostel's fault, but the door to the balcony had a small gap around the whole thing, meaning that so much sound came in it was like we were trying to sleep on the sidewalk in front of the bar. It was THAT loud. The guy on reception gave me earplugs (they obviously know it's an issue), and using those AND noise cancelling over-ear headphones, AND some light music I could finally drown out the sound. Crazy. It's not all bad though. The breakfast is decent, the desk staff where helpful, and they guys and girls working the bar were awesome.

Nice atmosphere, good music (live and as background). The bartenders could be more friendly though.

Do no book a private room here. I booked a private room with a semi private bathroom. Bathroom is dirty. The room is located right above an Irish bar and it’s incredibly noisy. I can hear everything from my room. Management was nice and let me check out early without charging me. I booked a hotel around the corner.

This girl in the hostel has this schtick about how Germans like camping. It's very funny. Why wouldn't you pimp? You'll sell or trade anything else on others' behalf. Besides I'm way out of your jurisdiction. Come on, live large. If you've got immunity for all your nefarious domestic activities, who's gonna call you on it here? Simply perfect. Is in the middles of the party life, bustling street. The bed are big and comfortable, you can easily have your privacy as they have those nice curtains. 10+ to the staff, they are all really nice and helpful.

Lovely place, clean rooms, great service and a really fun atmosphere in the bar.

Great hostel. Very clean and excellent care, in addition to this very well located in the heart of Miraflores. I recommend doing the free walking tours offered Lui, you can ask in the reception.

I loved the location and the rooms were great too. The staff were very friendly when we checked in and helped store our luggage as we were really early for check in. Would recommend this place to friends and family. Close to pubs and places to eat too.

Fun hostel with live music and acticitys every night. Roof top bar. Nice area close to bars shops beach and restaurants.

It is a hostel not as nice as it looked in the pictures of Booking, as in the ceiling of the room there was a lot of humidity that caused the paint to fall on the bed. Besides, the four-person room smelled terrible.
The staff is warm and friendly. They allow to leave the suitcases after the check-out, by tagging them to avoid confusion. It is also allowed to use the shower.
The breakfast is not good but it is according to the price.

I stayed in the private room with private bathroom outside. The bathroom had a weird smell and was very small. The staff was OK. The room was good, but very noise, from the hostel bar and the one right below the hostel. Even for party people it's only "OK".

Very loud inside and outside (is above a very busy bar), staff is friendly but not particularly helpful. Breakfast is very basic, the common room ia not very cozy.

You have an excellent staff and the service is very good! It also has its own Free Walking Tour and service rental bike. Their pizzas on the grill are delicious and the bar is great. The travel agency that there are super recommended.

Decent hostel Location: right next to park Kennedy in Miraflores. Hostel condition: decent beds and bathrooms, could be renovated, power plugs are US style only, some lockers broken Nice atmosphere and deco, limited to wall paintings, bar is ok Service: staff is very friendly except for the breakfast lady who rants at everyone trying to take some honey which you have to pay extra for apparently. Breakfast in general is lousy. Some bread and jam, weak coffee… Cleaning is a bit neglected.

Decent for a place to rest your head, but definitely better for a younger traveler. It was very loud both inside from other guests, and outside from being close to bars and clubs. For the price and location, it wasn't bad though.

I expected the same quality I got in Kokopelli Cusco, but that was a bust. First room I was put in was unbearably hot and had only two plugs for six people. Second room was a bit better, but still so warm everyone was awake at seven am. And then there was no water in the hostel. Not even to flush the toilets. It was intermittent through the day. Checked out and moved to a different hostel.

Generally I try to avoid chain type hostels due to having that commercial feel that normally resonates throughout. However, Kokopelli has maintained its unique feel between the locations while providing consistency — both the good and the bad but you know exactly what to expect. Prices reasonable, amenities are good, assistance and advise it on hand, all while food and drinks are being served. However just like the other locations, no paper towels or hand dryer is provided in the bathrooms which is an important hygiene factor.

Stayed here for 3 nights and overall have a positive experience. Hostel is well located in a nice part of Miraflores. It is walking distance to local parks and restaurants. The staff were always friendly, helpful and quick to get in touch when I made my booking. The hostel is located on a busy street so traffic and music can be heard late into the night. There isn't much of a atmosphere and it would be great if the advertised activities went ahead each evening.

The place is beautiful, well decorated and with a lot of wave, received us with a smile the girl who was on reception, unlike the boy of the night that eager did not put,. It is a recommendable place to stay.

A really friendly hostel and bars are litterally just outside the door! If you are a late night of heavy sleeper, this place can accommodate you rather well!

I was there for 2 days in this week First day, no 'hot' water Second day, no 'water' no 'flushing' Especially second day, staff didn't say anything when I checked in When we asked, she said it would be fixed until 8 pm But until the next morning I can't meet a drop of water and didnt hear any explanation And I couldnt sleep because of loudly goooooooood music.

Very friendly and helpful staff, reasonable price, great location. Highly recommended.

Good care I really liked.

I was recently a guest at Kokopelli in Lima and I can say I had a wonderful time. Firstly they replied promptly to my e-mails and provided all the information that I required. I was also impressed by the airport transfer service (which I would strongly recommend) that made me feel at ease among all the congestion at the Airpiort. The service at the hostel was also very good. The receptionists all spoke very good English and were all very friendly and helpful. Kokopelli is also in a perfect location in Miraflores. All in all a very pleasant stay.
