Great place, the owner is a great person able to faith to help as often as necessary.

Beds are hard for my preference. My shoulders were sore after 2 nights, and it made it tough to sleep. We paid taxes on our first nights then no taxes on our extensión nights, I don’t like ambiguous pricing and the Perú tax should not be paid by tourists. The card places ask you for to prove this is no longer provided my immigration upon arrival. We were here in high season so it was busy and hot. The hostel is very chill and has lots of places to lounge and hammocks for every room. There are some mosquitos but not that many. The rooms don’t have ventilation, but do have fans. Some have private bathrooms and some don’t. The breakfast gets boring really fast, but it is decent. There were guests, or friends of the owners?, who blasted Peruvian telenovelas on the TV until past 11 at night which was odd. My review is slightly biased because I slept terribly my entire time here, adjusting from a well equipped, cheaper hostel in the cool mountains of Ecuador, to the 4 am zero sleep bus arrival into the humid and hot Peruvian desert.

Cool Hostel to hang out in. Rooms are nice and breakfast is really good. The place is only a 15-minute walk from the beach and main restaurants area. Eduardo was an amazing host, always there to help. Loved the design, style and how clean the place is!

Amazing welcome from Edu and lovely wife who were gracious and helpful throughout our stay. Edu knows a lot about the world and loves to pass it on. He's also a massive foodie and will give you tips on Mancora eats. The private double room downstairs we had was simple but tasteful, clean and serene. This hostel feels like a classy hotel, and is a lovely place to hang out. Breakfasts were simple and very very delicious. Good bread. Good eggs. Good juice and coffee. I also liked that the hostel was a few minutes walk from the town as it can be loud sometimes. For the price this place is exceptional value. Absolutely exceptional. Thank you Edu.

Really good breakfast and really helpful staff.

Eduardo and Yessica, the couple who runs that small hostel, were lovely hosts. Also the lady working with them was so nice and polite. Eduardo has lots of useful information and is always ready for a little chat. He even offered us to bring us to the hospital when we were just a little ill. There's​ a simple kitchen that everyone can use after breakfast time. They offer nice bread, marmelade, tea/coffee and wonderful scrambled eggs for breakfast. The room gets cleaned regularly. The shower is not hot, but during the day it's warm outside (even in "winter"), so that wasn't a big deal. The location is perfect. A little uphill from the main street and the beach. So it's quiet, but you get everywhere in some minutes or take a mototaxi for 2 soles to get to the other side of town. The atmosphere is very warm and relaxed. We stretched our stay several times because we liked it so much.

Bungalow-style budget accommodation in a quiet area. The hostel is located up a hill just outside of the main area of Mancora which means you are close enough to enjoy everything but far enough away to not be bothered by noise when you are sleepy. The couple that runs the hostel live in an apartment above the kitchen and as they have children they impose rules on noise and common space usage past certain times. They were welcoming and did offer to look after our bags after check out even though there are signs in the room saying they don't do this. The only problems we had were eith Wi-Fi connectivity in the mornings when we were trying to get some work done. All and all it is a nice cheap option if you want somewhere quiet to stay in Mancora.
