It was a magical night in Cuscopacker!

A very good Hostel with good service and attention from multilingual staff. A spectacular view of Cusco from the living.

Pro's: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great, especially for a hostel stay. They even had little shampoo samples in the rooms. Common computer and lots of guide books. Dan was a great wealth of knowledge too. Con's: We stayed in a private room, but I wouldn't say it felt very private as we heard every noise in the place — inside and outside. Cusco is a noisy place in general, but the noise inside needs to be better regulated during sleeping hours. This is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

I stayed here for a month whilst I was studying Spanish nearby (Mundo Antiguo school if your interested). I thoroughly enjoyed my time here which was made all the better by the help of Dan Ramsey and Cliver. Well done if you manage to beat Dan at table tennis, he's amazing. Carlos, the barman, is fun to chat to and pretty good at table tennis. Cliver is pretty good at table football and is also happy to help. I definitely recommend this place and I will never forget waking up to that amazing view everyday.

Very good hostel for travellers. Good atmosphere and an exceptional attention by the owner Dan, no doubt concerned that everyone has a good experience in Cusco. Good location and excellent prices.

Excellent view! Friendly service, free breakfast and unlimited cocoa tea. The hot water is limited but don't expect North American standard in South America. The Wi-Fi is very slow during peak times : (

Really good hostel I had so much fun. I slept in 3 different bedrooms and there were clean and confortable. Dan is so nice, he was always there for us questions or sevices. The hostel has a nice bar to play ping pong and babyfoot. Seriously, I recommand you this place.

My stay at the Hostel was better than I expected. Thanks to Dan, your host, I was able to receive advice on what to do and not do in Cusco, and manage good tours to Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. He is a super good host who always keep an eye on how everyone's stay is going, which I haven't seen in any other hostel I've been to.
The place is very cozy, the beds very comfortable, where I never went cold or slept poorly, with hot water in the showers and a very good breakfast. They also always have hot drinks (tea, coffee and coca matte) when you need it. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and acquaintances who want to travel.

Clean rooms and friendly staff, great view of the city. Dan will help you with anything from planning travel to seeing the city and anything else you need.

The manager, Dan, was extremely helpful in organizing tours, giving advice and being generally helpful. The view of the city is amazing and the rooftop patio is lovely in the evening. Beds are comfy, and there's free tea and cocoa all day. The only downside I found is it's a little on the cold side but the quilts on the beds are plenty to make up for it.
