Sunset house is such a cute and fun hostel! Awesome artwork on the walls, laid back staff, free breakfast, hot showers, and a great restaurant in the hostel. What more could you ask for?

Good to work with us and make arrangements. My challenges were: the bathroom on the main floor was TINY, so I normal used the bathroom in the basement. And it's also quite noisy. People are normally playing music, live and via speakers untill 22:00. Which could be a bother. The location was a little further away than I'd prefer from the square. So the hike back to the hostel could be really tiring with the high altitude. And the lockers were really small. Other than that I enjoyed it. Over all: not bad.

Pro: quiet place, just 3 blocks from the touristiques zones, cheerful staff. Wonderful view of the city Con: they were under renovation (it should be done), the place it's on a hill and that's a pain in the ass after a long day.

A great place, very nice people and super predisposed. Clean, comfortable and complete. Highly recommended.

Good location, good tips for restaurants and tours. Dorms are OK, double room nice. Top view from the beautiful terrace. Common room and kitchen are OK.

Pros: – Sunset House was the perfect location to spend New Years Eve; karaoke downstairs was complemented by a spectacular view of the city on the restaurant balcony. Staff were incredibly friendly, clueing us in on the tradition of circling the fountain at the Plaza de Armas. – Good food and dining area. – Beds were comfy and rooms were spacious. – Great value! Cons: – Too few bathrooms/showers for the size of the hostel. Also, showers and toilets were not separated. – The divider between our dorm and the next was a thin panel, so sound leaked between the rooms.

The hostel with the best wave of the whole Cusco! beds super comfortable, kitchen for common use, and a good breakfast with an amazing view of the city.

Martin and maxi are great hosts. Extremely helpful about where to go to get the most out of Cusco and energetic about their time there. Thank you both for the stay.

We had a really nice stay here, the staff is extremely helpful and accomodating, we had an early tour one morning which caused us to miss breakfast, and they arranged to-go bags for us to take before our tour. Can be a bit loud in the evenings, but very safe, friendly, and enjoyable stay overall!

This place has the best resturant in Cusco! The food is great the rooms are cozy and Hot water and Wifi are super fast!

Pleasant atmosphere, interesting location, a meeting place of tourists and backpackers, whose budget is a little more solvent… recommended!

It is a place that I recommend to tourists to stay. They make you know another culture, feel comfortable and above all fall in love with Cusco!
Be sure to visit this hostel. It's safe, it's very cool and it's in a perfect place!

Great staff, comfortable rooms with lights and chargers at each bed, very reasonable prices and good location near San Blas (with a little bit of walking).

Wish I could leave a better review but I had something stolen here, confronted staff and were rude and unhelpful made me feel as if it was one of them. Other then that good experience — manager from Argentina was excellent but other staff seemed untrustworthy.

Great cafe with delicious organic sandwiches, a variety of smoothies and good Wi-Fi.

I just spent 3 nights here and was blown away at the kindness of the staff and the clean and beautiful facilities. When my boyfriend and I were first checking in, the desk dude noticed my boyfriend was carrying his guitar and invited us to play at the show they were hosting on the rooftop the next day. We played for about a half hour and loved the welcoming atmosphere of this hostel. Great views, hot showers, good breakfast, and a chill aura — will always recommend.

A lovely and colorful hostel, the rooms are clean and the Wi-Fi is strong, the food in the restaurant is great, the guys at the front desk are very helpful and fun, one night they even got a guitar out and started singing (some good voices there). If I ever visit Cusco again I'd stay there once more.

This isn't just a hostel. The group of people truly care about you and are great people in general. I stayed at this hostel thinking I was paying for just a bed and breakfast, but I left with many new lifelong friends.

Very good staff, good Wi fy, clean rooms, good bathrooms. The Hostal is a little far from Plaza de Armas and you have to go up in some stairs to get to it. Also some tours can't get there because the street is too narrow. If you don't like to walk don't chose this.

The hostel was great! The rooms were clean and the restaurant offered nice meals. Manu was extremely helpful. A plus is that you can leave your stuff in storage in the hostel if you plan to go to visit Machu Picchu. Overall, I definitely recommend this place.

Perfect hostel in great location at amazing price. Ended up staying longer than expected. Manuel and staff very very helpful. Hostel also has a restaurant offering daily 3 course menu for 12 soles, food is incredible. Rooms to cater for different budgets… You cannot go wrong with this place!
